Abstract

This study analyzes the musicological Minuet by Luigi Boccherini which focuses on the analysis of rhythm, melody, form and structure of the work. This research includes qualitative research with a content analysis approach. Data were collected through literature study, observation, labor and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the minuet by Luigi Boccherini was written in 48 bars, using 3 major strokes starting with 3/4 time signature. The form of the work consists of two macro parts (large) A consists of 4 forming characters, 3 phrases and 14 motifs and B consists of 5 forming characters, 3 phrases and 10 motifs. The work is processed through the formation of motifs with their own characters and developed by literal repetition, ascending sequences, descending sequences and repetitions with variations. In addition, it was found the use of acciaccatura ornamentation in the formation of motif 1 with a combination of the use of syncopation and trill rhythms, shifting the basic notes (modulation) to the a minor scale of part A in character 4. The shifting of basic notes to 2 sharp at the beginning of part B with a characteristic use staccato signs.

Abstract

Purpose: The use of media in the learning evaluation stage affects student learning outcomes which can be seen from scores in tests and other evaluation stages. It is also seen from how the ability of educators to create learning media that can develop students' interest in the learning process to evaluate learning which is expected to make the stages of learning more effective and efficient with the use of attractive teaching media. One of the interesting learning media is the Digital Classroom application by Scola LMS (Learning Management System) also as a digital learning solution in schools. Method: By utilizing the Scola application, educators can also manage school data in an organized and centralized manner, access content and materials from other schools, and make learning interactive. Result and discussion: This research uses the 4D development model which is formed of the stages of define, design, develop, and disseminate by focusing on the definition and design stages of application development. Implication: The results show that the Digital Classroom Application by Scola is a solution to answer the challenges of conventional learning that is so-so so as to create a digitally sophisticated learning atmosphere.

Abstract

Penerapan dua kurikulum pada satuan pendidikan mengalami proses pembelajaran yang berbeda dan didasari oleh bedanya capaian pembelajaran masing-masing kurikulum. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengungkap bagian integral persepsi guru SD Negeri 18 Bungo Pasang pada penerapan Kurikulum 2013 & Kurikulum Merdeka dalam permasalahan proses pembelajaran seni budaya. Mendasari hal tersebut dikarenakan penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka saat ini belum sepenuhnya dilaksanakan, baik itu dari segi kesiapan maupun kematangan. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dengan metode analisis deskriptif dalam penelitian ini, datanya dikumpulkan dengan wawancara, dan studi pustaka untuk melengkapi pernyataan dari hasil wawancara. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa SD 18 Bungo Pasang masih menerapkan dua kurikulum dengan pembagian berdasarkan tingkatan kelas. Terdapat tantangan dan juga hambatan dalam pembelajarannya, diantaranya siswa masih berpatokan pada teori yang terdapat pada buku, sehingga minimnya eksplorasi siswa terhadap lingkungan. Selain itu metode belajar yang dilakukan oleh guru dianggap menjadi beban dan keluhan bagi siswa, seharusnya dengan adanya konsep Merdeka Belajar diharapkan dapat menciptakan belajar yang bahagia. Simpulan penelitian ini terlihat bahwa dua kurikulum tersebut masih berjalan dengan baik hingga saat ini dimana kelebihan dan kekurangan masing-masng kurikulum terlihat saling melengkapi khususnya pada pembelajaran seni budaya.

Abstract

Purpose: Curriculum development in Indonesia has become a polemic with the existence of the Kurikulum Merdeka, which discusses learning outcomes that should be one of the answers to overcome learning objectives that have not been achieved in the previous curriculum. This article seeks to provide an overview of learning outcomes, especially in music subjects in the Kurikulum Merdeka, as a form of independent learning in schools, which is expected to be an understanding that educators can internalize about the importance of learning outcomes in music subjects. Method: The literature study is used in this research by collecting data through online media, articles, and books related to music learning outcomes in the Merdeka Curriculum in schools. Result and Discussion: This research describes the learning outcomes of music as a form of independent learning. The discussion reviewed includes learning outcomes, objectives, and characteristics of music learning in the Merdeka Curriculum. Music teaching in the Merdeka Curriculum is divided into phases A to F, and there are five elements included in music learning, including experiencing, reflecting, thinking and working artistically, creating, and impacting students and others. Music art subjects aim for students to be able to express, be sensitive, develop a sense of musicality, and be aware of their musicality.

Abstract

Terdapat ragam jenis media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi, informatika, dan komputer, termasuk media berbasis permainan dengan nama Chrome Music Lab. Platform ini memiliki beberapa aplikasi menarik, salah satunya Song Maker untuk meningkatkan minat dan eksplorasi anak dalam menciptakan karya musik sederhana. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran instruksional mengenai aplikasi Song Maker dan cara penggunaannya pada Chrome Music Lab. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode konten analisis fitur aplikasi di mana data dikumpulkan melalui pengamatan langsung terhadap aplikasi Song Maker dengan meninjau fitur-fitur yang terdapat pada aplikasi tersebut dan didukung oleh penelitian terdahulu sebagai penguat hasil penelitian. Chrome Music Lab memiliki 14 aplikasi menarik yang dapat digunakan oleh siswa untuk belajar musik sambil bermain. Aplikasi-aplikasi tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai media eksplorasi dan sarana bermain sambil belajar musik bagi anak. Salah satu aplikasinya adalah song maker yang digunakan untuk membuat karya musik sederhana. Media ini merupakan sarana yang tepat untuk merangsang daya intelektual dan kreativitas dasar anak dalam menciptakan karya musik sederhana.

Abstract

Foreign culture has become a significant polemic for today's millennials, leading to a tendency to overlook their nation's identity and the robust cultural potential inherent in their own country. This article seeks to enhance the potential of local cultural wisdom in the packaging of art as a force for shaping community identity. A qualitative approach is employed to provide a detailed and careful description of the art packaging methods in Kampung Seni Edas. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, with the research conducted in Kampung Seni Edas, Bogor City. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation and informant review techniques. Data analysis utilized interactive techniques involving data reduction, data display, and verification steps. The results underscore the necessity of elevating the potential of local wisdom in Kampung Seni Edas as an alternative model for empowerment and art packaging, contributing to character building and community identity, ultimately facilitating preservation through innovative performing arts. The implication is that the millennial generation needs to recognize, understand, and study culture as an essential achievement that must be embraced by millennials as the successors of the nation.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this article is to provide an overview of the phenomenon of music intervention on children's language skills. Music interventions are commonly used for children with special needs, but there are advantages to using music as a medium of intervention for children in general. Method: Systematic literature review is the method in this research with the SPIDER strategy. Result and Discussion: The results found eight selected studies that were relevant to the inclusion criteria. The samples were early childhood and elementary school-aged children whose interest phenomenon included musical activities such as listening and singing songs. The interventions were conducted with various designs and evaluations, and the selected research types covered both quantitative and qualitative approaches. Conclusion: This research implies that the overall research in the intervention can improve children's ability in language. It is expected to be a reference, reference, and comprehensive understanding for educators to conduct music interventions for children's language skills.

Abstract

This article aims to describe and provide an overview of the analysis of the musical structure and violin playing techniques contained in the works in Suzuki Violin Book Volume 1. The research contained in this article uses a qualitative method with a systematic content analysis approach, objectivity, and generalization. The works analyzed in this research are "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star", "Lightly Row", and "Song of the Wind". The results show that the three works are simple works that are appropriate as teaching materials for educators in teaching students who are just learning violin instruments. This is evidenced by violin playing that only uses the A string and E string with 1, 2, 3, and 0 (open string). The works are composed of intervals that make the melody movement dominated by stepping movements rather than jumping. In addition, the techniques that appear in these works are simple techniques such as up-bow, down-bow, tenuto, and staccato, and a little complicated for beginners is syncopation. So, the three works are the right works to learn for beginners.
