Abstract

A Durian fruit farmer in Branjang Village has difficulties cultivating durian fruit; they can also not maximize the use of durian skin waste. By collaborating with the stakeholders involved, it is possible to increase durian fruit yields through cross-cultivation techniques and managing unused durian skin waste. The Service Team has given solutions such as the need for training for durian farmers regarding durian cultivation crossbreeding techniques to have superior durian varieties, training in managing durian skin waste, which can be used as biogas, as well as collaboration with related parties such as agricultural research institutions, local and nonlocal governmental organizations to support project implementation. The method includes three activities: the selection process and training, coaching clinic group, and personal communication. The results are that durian fruit farmers produce superior varieties of durian fruit after training in crossbreeding durian cultivation. They will be able to increase sales, and durian fruit farmers will be able to process durian skin waste that has been unused into trash; after this training has finished, they can process it into biogas, which has high selling value

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership style and organizational culture on employee performance and examine the role of organizational commitment in mediating the impact of transformational leadership style and organizational culture on employee performance. The method used is quantitative with Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) analysis using the SmartPLS 4.1.0.9 program for data processing. The respondents in this research consisted of 139 employees, and the sampling technique was simple random sampling. The results of this study indicate that transformational leadership style does not significantly affect employee performance. Organizational culture and organizational commitment have a significant effect on employee performance. Organizational commitment can mediate the influence of transformational leadership style and organizational culture on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the contribution of the Al-Barzanji reading tradition in shaping the character of traditional Muslim society in Tanjung Harapan Village, Seputih Banyak, Central Lampung. The problem raised in this study is how character values ​​such as deliberation, justice, compassion, and forgiveness are applied through the Al-Barzanji tradition and the challenges faced in integrating this tradition into people's lives. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The subjects of the study consisted of village heads, religious figures, people who are active in the Al-Barzanji tradition, and the younger generation in Tanjung Harapan Village. Data collection was carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation related to Al-Barzanji reading activities. Data validity testing was carried out through triangulation techniques by comparing the results of observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the Al-Barzanji reading tradition still takes place in Tanjung Harapan Village and has an important role in instilling character values ​​in the community. The value of deliberation is reflected in the habit of deliberation before religious activities, the value of justice is seen in the attitude of mutual respect between citizens, compassion is manifested in harmonious social relations, and the attitude of forgiveness is practiced in everyday life. However, the challenges faced are the low interest of the younger generation in this tradition and the limited understanding of the community regarding the essence of character education in Al-Barzanji. Therefore, an innovative strategy is needed to maintain and develop this tradition as an effective medium for character education.

Abstract

Pengelolaan keuangan rumah tangga merupakan salah satu hal penting yang harus dilakukan oleh setiap rumah tangga untuk mewujudkan tujuan perencanaan dan pengelolaan keluarga. Pendidikan pengelolaan keuangan keluarga ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan literasi keuangan dan manajemen keuangan keluarga secara teori dan praktek dalam bentuk evaluasi keuangan dan penyusunan anggaran sederhana. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam tiga tahapan yaitu investigasi, persiapan dan implementasi selama dua bulan di SDN Pakintelan 03 Gunungpati. Pelaksanaan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dalam bentuk sharing session dan pelatihan literasi keuangan dan manajemen keuangan keluarga dilakukan sesuai dengan kualifikasi yang dimiliki oleh peniliti sekaligus tim pelaksana. Hasilnya guru SDN Pakintelan 03 Gunungpati menjadi lebih bijak dan terampil dalam penerapan literasi keuangan dan manajemen keuangan keluarga dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, seperti membelanjakan uangnya secara bijak, membayar cicilan utang, dan melakukan kegiatan menabung. Harapannya dengan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini, guru di Guru SDN 03 Pakintelan, Gunungpati dapat membuat perencanaan dan pengelolaan keuangan keluarga yang baik dan bijaksana bagi rumah tangganya sehingga pada akhirnya menjadikan keuangan keluarga menjadi sehat dan sejahtera.

Abstract

This study aims to analyses the influence of compensation, career development, and employee engagement on job hopping, as well as the mediating role of employee engagement in the relationship between compensation and career development on job hopping. This study uses a quantitative approach with a purposive sampling method on 160 employees of the banking sector in DKI Jakarta. Data testing was carried out using the SmartPLS analysis tool through validity, reliability, and hypothesis tests. The results of the study show that compensation, career development, and employee engagement have a significant effect on job hopping. Career development also has a significant effect on employee engagement, and employee engagement has been shown to play a significant mediating variable in the relationship between career development and job hopping. However, no significant relationship was found between compensation for employee engagement, and employee engagement did not mediate the relationship between compensation and job hopping. These findings emphasize the importance of career development and employee engagement in managing job hopping tendencies, while compensation in this context has no direct or indirect relationship through employee engagement.
