Abstract

Tomat juga digunakan berkhasiat sebagai obat.  Tomat mengandung berbagai zat-zat gizi yang sangat bermanfaat bagi tubuh manusia, sehingga tomat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber vitamin C dan vitamin A. Peningkatan produksi tomat dapat dilakukan dengan penggunaan teknologi hidroponik berbasis larutan nutrisi AB Mix dapat meningkatkan kualitas produksi tomat yang dihasilkan, karena rendahnya serangan hama dan penyakit pada tanaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak kelompok (RAL) non Faktorial dengan perlakuan konsentrasi Nutrisi (N), terdiri dari 5 taraf yaitu : N1 = 800 ppm, N2 = 900 ppm, N3 = 1000 ppm, N4 = 1100 ppm dan N5 = 1200 ppm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi nutrisi AB Mix berpengaruh nyata terhadap bobot basah akar, bobot kering tajuk dan bobot kering akar, tetapi berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap kadar air relatif daun, umur berbunga, kandungan klorofil a, b dan total. Pemberian konsentrasi AB Mix di atas 800 ppm dapat menurunkan bobot basah akar, bobot kering tajuk dan bobot kering akar tanaman tomat

Abstract

Spinach is one of the most important needs for humans, but spinach production in Indonesia has decreased from year to year, so it needs improvement in terms of cultivation technology. The purpose of this study was to analyze the interaction between varieties of spinach and the dose of organic seaweed fertilizer on spinach production; analyzed the dose of organic seaweed fertilizer on spinach production and analyzed the effect of spinach varieties on spinach production. This study was arranged in a factorial randomized block design (RBD), which consisted of two factors, the first factor was the variety of spinach (b) which consisted of two levels, namely green spinach variety Giti Hijau (b1) and red spinach variety Giti Merah (b2), the second factor is the dose of organic fertilizer (d) which consists of 4 levels, namely control (d0), 2 mL/L water (d1), 3 mL/L water (d2), 4 mL/L water (d3). The treatment was divided into 3 blocks as repetition. Data analysis used ANOVA and follow-up test with a DMRT level of 5%. The results showed that the variety of spinach had a significant effect on plant height from 3 to 5 WAP, the number of leaves at 2 WAP and 3 WAP, and the fresh weight of spinach. Fertilizer dosage did not significantly affect plant height, number of leaves, root length, fresh weight, and dry weight of plants . There was no interaction between spinach varieties and doses of organic seaweed fertilizer on all growth parameters and production of spinach.

Abstract

Hama dan penyakit dapat menurunkan kualitas dan hasil produksi pertanian.Upaya yang di lakukan untuk meningkatkan ketahanan tanaman dengan mengunakan elisitor. Elisitor yaitu zat kimia yang dapat memberikan reaksi pada tanaman yang mampu merangsang produksi metabolit sekunder, memperbaiki sel tanaman, dan meningkatkan produktivitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literature riview, Penelitian literatur menunjukkan bahwa elisitor biosaka sangat bermanfaat dalam meningkatkan metabolit sekunder, meningkatkan ketahanan tanaman, membantu tanaman dalam penyerapan nutris, memperbaiki sel-sel tanaman serta menaikan produktivitas tanaman.

Abstract

Salah satu tanaman yang memberikan semua nutrisi yang dibutuhkan tubuh adalah pakcoy. Selain padat nutrisi, pakcoy tinggi protein, serat, lemak nabati, karbohidrat, kalsium, magnesium, zat besi, natrium, serta vitamin A dan vitamin C. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh lama pemberian nutrisi dan beberapa media tumbuh organik terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Rumah Kaca di Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi Universitas Nias berada di ketinggian ± 30 meter di atas permukaan laut. Penelitian ini dilakukan mulai Januari 2024 sampai Februari 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Petak Terpisah (RPT) dengan lama pemberian nutrisi sebagai petak utama terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu : A1 = 8 jam, A2 = 16 jam, A3 = 24 jam, dan media tumbuh organik sebagai anak petak terdiri dari 3 jenis yaitu : M1 = Arang Sekam, M2 = Cocopeat, M3 = Limbah Jamur Tiram. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan lama pemberian nutrisi dan penggunaan berbagai jenis media tumbuh organik tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman pakcoy, termasuk panjang daun, jumlah daun, berat segar per sampel, berat segar per petak, berat akar per tanaman, dan berat akar per petak.

Abstract

Snakehead fish (Channa striata) is a freshwater fish that can be found throughout Indonesian waters. Snakehead fish in today's society has been associated with medicine. Snakehead fish is processed into various types of dishes and then served to sick families, especially for those who are postoperative because its content has been clinically proven in several diseases. Snakehead fish has a high protein content, especially albumin and essential amino acids, fat, especially essential fatty acids, minerals, especially zinc (Zn), and several vitamins that are very good for health. Bioactive compounds that play a role in accelerating the wound healing process are albumin, glycine, and zinc (Zn). Wound healing is highly dependent on the biochemical processes that occur in the skin involving intrinsic and extrinsic factors. This healing process will be accelerated with the help of dried extracts of Snakehead fish designed in topical forms such as creams or gels.

Abstract

Wheatgrass dikenal sebagai tanaman dengan kandungan nutrisi dan fitokimia yang tinggi, yang mengindikasikan potensinya sebagai produk hortikultura yang bermanfaat secara ekonomi. Namun, kondisi lingkungan seperti salinitas dapat membatasi perkembangannya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menguji pengaruh ZPT organik (ekstrak bawang merah dan air kelapa) dan perlakuan NaCl dengan dosis yang bervariasi terhadap pertumbuhan dan karakteristik produksi rumput gandum. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2024 di Laboratorium Fisiologi Tumbuhan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Katolik Santo Thomas Medan, menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktorial dengan tiga kali ulangan dan dua faktor yaitu ZPT organik bawang merah dan air kelapa, serta konsentrasi NaCl masing-masing 50mM, 100mM, dan 150mM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian perlakuan ZPT organik meningkatkan parameter berat basah tajuk, tetapi pemberian konsentrasi NaCl meningkatkan tinggi tanaman, panjang akar, berat basah tajuk dan berat basah akar.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Rhizobium merupakan bakteri pengikat nitrogen yang mampu meningkatkan ketersediaan nitrogen di dalam tanah melalui hubungan simbiosis dengan akar tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran Rhizobium dalam meningkatkan efisiensi pemanfaatan nitrogen pada tanaman kacang hijau (Vigna radiata L.). Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka (literature review), dengan mengumpulkan dan menganalisis berbagai sumber seperti buku, artikel jurnal, dan laporan penelitian terdahulu yang relevan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tanaman kacang hijau yang diinokulasi Rhizobium memiliki efisiensi pemanfaatan nitrogen yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan tanaman tanpa inokulasi. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa Rhizobium berkontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan ketersediaan nitrogen bagi tanaman. Artikel ini menekankan pentingnya pemanfaatan Rhizobium dalam sistem pertanian berkelanjutan, terutama untuk meningkatkan produktivitas tanaman pada lahan dengan keterbatasan unsur hara. Kata kunci: Rhizobium, kacang hiaju, efisiensi nitrogen, fiksasi nitrogen biologis, pertanian berkelanjutan

Abstract

Mangrove forests are ecosystems that have ecological and economic functions. The ecological functions of mangrove forests include protecting coastlines, preventing sea water intrusion, habitat, feeding ground, nursery ground, spawning ground for aquatic biota and as a climate regulator. micro. This research aims to determine the structure of the mangrove community and mangrove density. This research was conducted in Teluk Belukar Village, North Gunungsitoli District, North Gunungsitoli City, North Sumatra in August 2023. Research activities were carried out by creating a plot measuring 10x10 m2. Each plot contains the size categories of tree (10x10 m2), sapling (5x5 m2) and seedling (1x1 m2). There are 24 types of mangroves found at the research location. The highest value of mangrove species density (Di) obtained at the research location was at the seedling level of 160,000 ind/ha.
