Abstract

Keterampilan sosial merupakan salah satu hal yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS. Berdasarkan data dan fakta yang terdapat di lapangan yaitu SDN Kertajaya 02, keterampilan sosial siswa sekolah dasar masih rendah, maka dari itu perlu adanya upaya dalam hal meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa sekolah tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas belajar siswa dan peningkatan keterampilan sosial siswa sekolah dasar dalam pembelajaran IPS dengan menerapkan model cooperative learning tipe make a match yaitu model pembelajaran saling mencocokan soal dan jawaban dalam suasana yang menyenangkan. Metode yang yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metodel penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), yang terdiri dari proses perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Dari penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan, data menunjukan adanya peningkatan yang terjadi pada setiap siklusnya. Pada siklus I hasil pengamatan aktivitas siswa mencapai 53,5%, pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 71,25%, dan pada siklus III mengalami peningkatan kembali menjadi 84,58%. Keterampilan sosial siswapun mengalami peningkatan, pada siklus I keterampilan sosial siswa mencapai 55,91%, pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 67,61%, dan siklus III mengalami peningkatan kembali menjadi 84,43%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah Penerapan Model Cooperative Learning tipe Make A Match pada pembelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Dawuan Timur II yang bertujuan untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Sosial  IPS Siswa  Sekolah Dasar dengan menerapkan Model Numbered Head Together (NHT). Latar belakang penelitian ini mengacu pada studi pendahuluan yang telah dilakukan bahwa keterampilan sosial siswa masih rendah, hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari perilaku siswa yang masih belum baik selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung, berdasarkan data lapangan yang sudah dilakukan, siswa memiliki sikap yang kurang baik seperti siswa tidak memperhatikan penjelasan guru pada saat pembelajaran berlangsung, tidak mendengarkan penjelasan guru dan siswa tidak menghargai temannya ketika ada yang sedang berbicara di depan kelas, kemudian siswa sering membuat keributan di dalam kelas dan tidak mau untuk mengerjakan tugas. Salah satu solusi yang dianggap tepat adalah  dengan menerapkan Model Numbered Head Together (NHT) karena model ini dapat meningkatkan suatu interaksi dan komunikasi siswa satu dengan yang lainnya, selain itu juga model ini memiliki kelebihan yang lain yaitu dapat bekerja sama dan menghargai pendapat orang lain, melatih siswa untuk bisa menjadi tutor sebaya, memupuk rasa kebersamaan, membuat siswa menjadi terbiasa dengan perbedaan. Dan model pembelajaran ini mengacu pada interaksi sosial sehingga pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) dapat meningkatkan hubungan sosial antarsiswa. Sehingga aktivitas siswa dapat meningkat baik secara individu maupun kelompok. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), dengan desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu Lembar observasi Aktivitas siswa dan lembar observasi keterampilan sosial siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Numbered Head Together (NHT) dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa pada pembelajaran IPS. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari peningkatan setiap siklusnya. Pada siklus 1 hasil keterampilan sosial siswa memperoleh persentase sebesar 42%, pada siklus 2 meningkat menjadi 62%, dan pada siklus ke 3 meningkat kembali sebesar 86%. Dengan demikian kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan model Numbered Head Together (NHT) dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial IPS siswa Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan akan pentingnya pendekatan pembelajaran IPS yang berorientasi kepada pengembangan karakter siswa. Rumusan masalahnya yaitu “ Bagaimanakah perkembangan karakter siswa dengan menggunakan pendekatan penenaman nilai dan apakah ada hubungan antara perkembangan karakter siswa dengan prestasi akademik. Penelitian ini bersifat perbaikan pembelajaran, oleh karena berupa penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Data Penelitian diperoleh dari hasil pengamatan terhadap kegiatan siswa dalam memainkan peran tokoh – tokoh pahlawan nasional menjelang detik-detik proklamasi kemerdekaan dan tes hasil belajar.

Abstract

Research was conducted to describe the results of student learning through a problem-solving model. Sampling was done by one group pretest-posttest design. The type of research used is the pre- experiment with the form of the design of one group pretest-posttest with research subjects of grade students in one of the public elementary schools. Subject retrieval using single subject and subject number four students. The research data were obtained using test descriptions and observations. Based on the analysis results, the project model and presentation gave a enhance. These results were seen based on the N-Gain test by 0.86 in high categories. Subjects are 6 students of class IV. Data analysis techniques by observing the development of n-gain. This study showed that student understanding of pretest is 53,75 point categorized as low and posttest is 93.00 point categorized as good. It means that cooperative learning projects and presentation models suitable for elementary school social studies learning and can encourage students to build an understanding of concepts. Construction of the concept through the process of connecting knowledge in solving learning problems.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning process which demands active participation from the learner, but in reality the learning process still tends to reduce the role and participation of students. This study intends to see how much influence the digital comic-assisted discovery learning model flip book has in efforts to improve social studies learning outcomes for fifth grade students in the 2022/2023 academic year to find out whether the digital comic-assisted discovery learning model is more effective than the digital flip book learning model. conventional. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group pre-test and post-test design. This research was conducted at SDN 1 Cibening with 25 students in class VA and 24 students in class VB as research samples. The instrument used in this study is a test. Based on the research findings, it shows that the discovery learning model assisted by digital flip book comics has an effect on student learning outcomes with an effect of 79.4%. The discovery learning model assisted by digital flip book comics is more effective than the conventional learning model with the difference in the pretest and posttest average scores, in the experimental class being greater than the control class. Overall, the increase in student learning outcomes in the experimental class belongs to the quite effective category, while the control class belongs to the less effective category. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the comic digital flip book-assisted discovery learning model has an effect on efforts to improve social studies learning outcomes for fifth grade students in elementary schools and the digital flip book-assisted discovery learning model is more effective.

Abstract

The 21st-century skills are skills that students must master to survive and compete in this 4.0 industrial revolution era. Teachers need to have good professional competence in order to facilitate students to develop 21st-century skills. This also applies to elementary school teachers. Therefore, the teacher needs training that can provide knowledge and skills for teachers to present such learning. The training program participant is an elementary school teacher at the Indonesian School of Johor Bahru Malaysia. The problem identified is that not all SIJB's primary school teachers have diverse educational backgrounds, and the learning presented is not based on 21st-century skills. The participants of this training are 19 teachers. The program is web-based training using the ADDIE model. This training is conducted in three stages, namely the pre-implementation, implementation, and post-implementation stages. At the implementation stage, there are eight meetings containing materials on 21st Century Skills-based learning in Indonesian Language, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and Civics, English, Arts, ICT, innovative learning models and learning life skills. Participants were given a pretest and posttest understanding of 21st Century learning. The pretest results showed an average value of 60.8, which means that participants' understanding of 21st Century learning is still quite good and the posttest average score of 84.5, which means that understanding participants is good. The result shows that the participants' understanding increased after attending the training. Based on the questionnaire results, the participant's response was quite good, and hoped that the training activities could be carried out on an ongoing basis. Abstract

Social skills abilities in society are very necessary to prepare good and educated citizens. Social skills need to be developed in learning through models, methods, approaches or learning techniques, especially in social studies learning. To determine the influence of the Community Component Contextual Teaching and Learning model in efforts to improve social skills abilities, as well as determine the increase in the final score of students' social skills abilities, the researchers used a quasi experiment (quasi experiment). The subjects in this study consisted of 48 fifth grade elementary school students. The results of data analysis show that the influence of the CTL model on students' social skills is 49.6%. The results of the n-gain t test obtained a sig value of 0.000, so H0 rejected so it can be concluded that the increase in social skills abilities of students who receive CTL model learning is better than students who receive conventional learning. Abstract

The background of this research is due to the low learning outcomes of the students of the V grade of SD Negeri Kamojing I due to lack of use of learning media, so that the students are less active. The purpose of this study is to describe the application of the visual learning visual media pop-up book in learning and to find out the impact of the use of visual media pop-up book in improving the learning outcomes of Social Science in students of grade V in SD Negeri Kamojing I. The research method used in this research is class action research which consists of 2 cycles with measures including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Based on the results of the research, the application of the visual media pop-up book implemented using the cooperative learning model of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) and the learning outcomes of students of grade V SD Negeri Kamojing I improved, in cycle I the average grade score was 66.4 and in the cycle II was 83.5. The improvement in learning outcome obtained in the Cycle II of the cycles I was 17.1. It shows that after given action using visual media pop-up book can improve the learning results of IPS students of grade V SD Negeri Kamojing I, Kecamatan Cikampek, Kabupaten Karawang.   Keywords: learning outcomes, pop-up book, social science, visual media

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability to read comprehension of exposition text in grade IV students. Based on the results of the data obtained at the pre-cycle stage the ability to read comprehension of exposition texts of SDN 2 Batutumpang students is still low. The researchers took action by applying the Multiliteracy Information model assisted by Text Card media during learning activities to improve the ability to read comprehension of exposition texts of grade IV students. This research used the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method with Kemmis and McTaggart design for 2 cycles. This research was conducted in class IV of SDN 2 Batutumpang with research subjects 26 male students and 14 female students.  After applying the Information Multiliteracy model assisted by Text Card media, there was an increase in students' ability to read comprehension of exposition text. The results of teacher and student activities in cycle 1 showed an increase of 90% and rose to 100% in cycle 2. Cycle 1 obtained an average score of 67 with 20 students and a percentage of classical completeness of 55%. Cycle 2 obtained an average score of 82 with 35 complete students and a percentage of classical completeness of 87%. Thus, it can be concluded that applying the Multiliteracy Information learning model assisted by Text Card media can improve reading comprehension.   Keywords: multiliteracy information, reading comprehension, exposition text, text card media

Abstract

Salah satu mata pelajaran yang didesain pada kurikulum merdeka adalah dengan menggabungkan mata pelajaran IPA dan IPS menjadi IPAS. Kurangnya penerapkan model pembelajaran dan penggunaan media ajar dalam pembelajaran IPAS terutama pada materi IPS terkadang membuat siswa merasa kurang tertarik mengikuti pembelajaran. Berdampak pada siswa kurang memahami materi ajar dan hasil belajar yang tidak mencapai kategori tinggi. Tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan hasil belajar siswa sekolah dasar terutama pada mata pelajaran IPAS dengan fokus IPS melalui model Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) berbantuan media quizizz paper mode. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah pre-eksperimen one group pre-test post-test design. Sampel yaitu siswa kelas IV yang terdiri dari 23 orang, dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Instrument pengumpulan data menggunakan tes hasil belajar. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan adanya perubahan dari nilai rata – rata tertinggi dan terendah pada pretest sebesar 47 menjadi 76,5 pada posttest. Hasil rata – rata N-Gain sebesar 62%.  Pada nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,499 atau 49%. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada model pembelajaran kooperatif student team achievemet division (STAD) berbantuan media quizizz paper mode memiliki pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa sekolah dasar terutama pada mata pelajaran IPAS dengan fokus IPS
