Abstract

Penelitian ini diawali oleh fenomena tingginya intensitas penggunaan smartphone sehingga tingkat konsentrasi siswa dalam belajar menurun. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan smartphone terhadap konsentrasi belajar siswa SD Plus Hang Tuah V. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu 52 siswa, terdiri dari 26 siswa pada kelas 5B dan 26 siswa pada kelas 6B. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan angket. Hasil dari uji r (uji korelasi) memperoleh signifikansi sebesar 0,003 < 0,05 dan koefisien kolerasi sebesar 0,403 dengan nilai positif. Uji determinasi diperoleh nilai R Square adalah 0,163. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena kurangnya dukungan orang tua dan grit siswa selama pembelajaran pada masa pandemi pada siswa SDN Cengkareng Barat 16 Kota Jakarta Barat. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh dukungan orang tua terhadap grit pada siswa SDN Cengkareng Barat 16. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian dengan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional dengan menggunakan metode survei dan teknik pengumpulan data berupa instrumen berbentuk kuesioner. Populasi target dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SDN Cengkareng Barat 16 yang berjumlah 671 siswa dengan populasi terjangkau berjumlah 224 siswa, yaitu siswa kelas IV sampai dengan kelas V. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Sebanyak 144 siswa digunakan sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini. Uji korelasi menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,510 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 yang artinya ada hubungan yang signifikan dan positif antara variabel dukungan orang tua (X) dan variabel grit (Y) dengan interpretasi agak rendah. Uji determinasi menunjukkan variabel dukungan orang tua memberikan kontribusi sebanyak 26% terhadap variabel grit dan 74% berasal dari faktor lainnya. Selanjutnya, uji parsial menunjukkan  sebesar 7,063 lebih besar daripada  sebesar 1,977 dengan signifikansi 0,000 maka  diterima yang artinya terdapat pengaruh dukungan orang tua terhadap grit pada siswa SDN Cengkareng Barat 16 Kota Jakarta Barat.

Abstract

Mengintegrasikan teknologi ke dalam pendidikan telah menjadi elemen penting dalam membekali siswa menghadapi masa depan. Namun demikian, beberapa guru menghadapi tantangan dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi ke dalam proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran, termasuk kurangnya pelatihan dan pendidikan, terbatasnya waktu dan persiapan, kurangnya kemahiran teknis, dan materi yang tidak memadai. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meminimalkan kesenjangan literasi teknologi di SD Pusaka Rakyat 02 dengan mengintegrasikan teknologi ke dalam beberapa topik secara efektif. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam tiga tahap: persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian. Hasil penilaian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini efektif meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemahiran guru dalam literasi teknis di era digital. Praktik ini selaras dengan kebutuhan dan harapan guru serta secara efektif memotivasi mereka untuk menggunakan teknologi pembelajaran dalam pengajaran mereka. Pada akhirnya, inisiatif pengabdian masyarakat ini berfungsi sebagai sarana yang ampuh untuk meningkatkan literasi teknologi kepada guru, sehingga mampu memperkuat standar pendidikan secara keseluruhan di sekolah dasar. Integrating technology into education has emerged as a vital element in equipping students for the future. Nevertheless, several teachers encounter obstacles when it comes to integrating technology into the teaching and learning process, including insufficient training and education, limited time and preparation, lack of technical proficiency, and inadequate materials. The objective of this community service initiative is to minimize the technological literacy gap at Pusaka Rakyat 02 Elementary School by effectively integrating technology into several topics. The activity was conducted in three distinct phases: preparation, implementation, and assessment. The assessment results indicate that this community service activity effectively enhanced teachers' comprehension and proficiency in technical literacy within the digital age. This practice aligns with teacher needs and expectations and effectively motivates them to use learning technology into their teaching. Ultimately, this community service initiative serves as a potent means to enhance teachers' technology literacy, therefore, it enables to bolster the overall standard of education in primary schools.

Abstract

In today's digital age, social media (SM) offers convenient access to information, social connections, and various content. Nonetheless, the utilization of SM and the fear of missing out (FOMO) phenomenon profoundly influence children's emotional wellbeing (EW). This study seeks to investigate the impact of SM usage and FOMO on children's EW in the digital era. Employing a quantitative approach, the research involves elementary school students in Jakarta, Indonesia. Cluster sampling was utilized to select a sample of 265 students. Data collection was conducted through a questionnaire designed to capture relevant variables. Analysis was performed using structural equation modeling (SEM) facilitated by the SMART-PLS 3.0 software. Findings revealed a significant significance value of 0.000 (0.0000.05), indicating that SM usage and FOMO have a positive and noteworthy effect on children's EW in the digital era. This study offers valuable insights for parents, educators, and child psychologists regarding the influence of SM on children's EW, thereby facilitating the formulation of more effective educational guidelines and strategies to assist children in managing their EW in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to identify whether there is an influence of learning motivation on critical thinking skills in mathematics. The study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population includes all third-grade students at SDN Setia Asih 01, with a sample of 25 students selected through purposive sampling. The results show that based on the partial t-test, the significance value α 0.00 is less than 0.05, with a t-value of 4.107, which is greater than the t-table value of 2.069. Therefore, H0 is rejected, and H1 is accepted, indicating that learning motivation affects critical thinking skills in mathematics. The coefficient of determination shows an R Square value of 0.423, meaning that learning motivation influences 42.3% of the critical thinking skills in mathematics. In conclusion, learning motivation impacts the critical thinking skills in mathematics of third-grade students at SDN Setia Asih 01.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality of flipbook media created by elementary school teachers using the Heyzine application as a tool to support interactive learning. Using a qualitative approach and content analysis method, this research examines 10 flipbooks developed by teachers at SD Penggilingan 01 Jakarta. Data were collected through product analysis, interviews with teachers, principals, and students, as well as classroom observations. The findings reveal that most teachers were able to design flipbooks with clear structure, engaging visuals, and interactive features such as navigation buttons, audio, video, and animation. These media enhanced students’ engagement and motivation in learning. However, several limitations were identified, especially in optimizing advanced features like animation and interactive quizzes. This study highlights the importance of continuous digital literacy training for teachers to fully utilize educational technology. The integration of teacher-created digital media like flipbooks represents a promising step toward learner-centered and interactive teaching practices in elementary education.
