Abstract

The purpose of this study is to discuss the concept of collateral in legal obligations including general and special guarantees, such as pledges, mortgages, fiduciaries, and mortgages. Collateral serves to provide legal certainty that an agreement or debt will be carried out. This article also examines how collateral is used in the context of business and economics, including commercial and business contracts and obligations involved in electronic transactions and e-commerce. In the business world, obligations include contracts such as sales and purchase contracts, business cooperation agreements, and business asset lease agreements. With the advancement of technology, new forms of obligations have emerged, such as electronic contracts (e-contracts). The Electronic Information and Transactions Law (ITE) and related regulations regulate this type of obligation. The purpose of this article is to improve understanding of the role of obligations and collateral in supporting legal certainty in the digital and conventional economic sectors.

Abstract

Purpose: PT. Karunia Jaya Abadi Inds. is an industry that operates in the alcoholic beverage sector. To meet the increasing market demands for alcoholic beverages, the company switched to using robotic-based filling machines. Method: The methodology used in collecting data includes field reviews, consultations with field supervisors, consultations with lecture supervisors, and literature studies. Practical Applications: The aim of this research is to find out the specifications of the filling machine and to know the working principle of the filling machine at PT. Karunia Jaya Abadi Inds. Conclusion: The robotic-based filling machine is an innovation carried out by PT. Karunia Jaya Abadi Inds. This machine is Robo Filler type. The specifications of the filling machine include robot and controller, filling system, product delivery system, and utilities. In general, the working principle of the Robo Filler bottle is carried by a conveyor to a nozzle which will spray the product liquid according to the volume indicated on the control panel. The volume is controlled by a Coriolis flowmeter.

Abstract

Purpose: This research paper aims to optimize the Navitaire system at AirAsia Malang to address the gap in customer preferences for direct bookings compared to third-party platforms. Understanding this issue is significant for enhancing customer satisfaction and service completeness in the aviation sector. Method: The study employs a qualitative research design, utilizing direct observation, staff interviews, and document analysis to assess the current state of the Navitaire system and identify areas for improvement. Practical Applications: The findings suggest that implementing targeted strategies, such as staff training and IT infrastructure enhancements, can improve service offerings, leading to better resource management and increased customer satisfaction. Conclusion: The study concludes that optimizing the Navitaire system significantly enhances operational efficiency and customer preference for direct bookings at the Malang branch, contributing valuable insights to the field of aviation service management.

Abstract

Purpose: The community service aims to socialize the early process of organic waste into organic fertilizer for local plants in Karang Besuki residents, Malang city, Indonesia. This addresses the community's lack of knowledge about kitchen waste utilization, limited access to waste management technology, and the need to understand the environmental benefits of proper waste management. Method: The team conducted socialization and demonstration using a simple automatic counting tool, involving residents of Karang Besuki village, students, and the proposing team. Practical Applications: This initiative simplifies organic waste processing for residents, allowing the waste to be used as fertilizer, thus promoting a healthier community environment. Conclusion: The community service activities made it easier for residents to process organic waste into fertilizer, enhancing waste management practices and environmental awareness in Karang Besuki village, Malang city, Indonesia.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to explore the effectiveness of digital marketing using Search Engine Optimization (SEO) on social media platforms for CV Saudagar Kaya Abadi Malang. The research focuses on the challenges of account blockages on social media and how SEO can improve content visibility and sales. Method: A descriptive qualitative approach was used, with data collected through observations and interviews. The study analyzed current SEO strategies and identified issues related to social media account blockages, proposing solutions to overcome them. Practical Applications: The findings offer practical solutions for businesses using SEO to enhance visibility and drive sales. Strategies include diversifying content across multiple accounts and reducing identical posts to avoid account blockages, optimizing digital marketing efforts. Conclusion: The study demonstrates the importance of SEO in digital marketing, showing how it can improve content visibility and sales. Despite challenges like social media account blockages, effective SEO can significantly enhance marketing outcomes for businesses like CV Saudagar Kaya Abadi Malang.

Abstract

Purpose: To develop effective teaching strategies that keep up with technological advancements and meet student needs, ensuring they gain practical and comprehensive knowledge in informatics and computers. These strategies aim to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed for academic success and future careers in technology. Method: This study uses a student-centered approach, focusing on teacher-student interaction and the use of technology in teaching. Data is collected through student feedback on teaching methods and interviews with teachers and staff. The data is analyzed to evaluate the effectiveness of informatics and computer teaching at SMK Santo Gabriel Maumere.  Practical Application: Provide guidance for teachers at SMK Santo Gabriel Maumere to improve the effectiveness of informatics and computer teaching. With better teaching methods, teachers can create more engaging and interactive strategies, helping students better understand technology. Conclusion: The teaching methods for informatics and computers at SMK Santo Gabriel Maumere need improvement for better results. Combining qualitative and quantitative evaluations offers valuable insights into teaching performance and guides future curriculum development.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to optimize the intranet network at Vocational High School Gedangan by using Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN). The main goal is to enhance network performance and security, especially in environments with numerous users, where LAN structures face management and security challenges. Method: The research employs a qualitative descriptive method, utilizing observations and interviews with the school's IT staff to understand how VLAN is implemented and its advantages. The data collected is used to analyze how VLAN can improve network efficiency and flexibility. Practical Applications: By segmenting the network with VLAN, the school can better manage user access and isolate different departments or student groups. This helps prevent network congestion and reduces potential security threats, contributing to a more reliable and secure system for daily operations and learning processes. Conclusion: VLAN implementation at Vocational High School Gedangan significantly optimizes the network's performance and security, creating a more efficient and safer environment for both administration and educational activities.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital berdampak pada dunia pemasaran, digital marketing memang lebih prospektif karena dpat mempermudah calon pembeli dalam memperoleh informasi dari semua produk yang ada di mebel bima baru, tanpa harus datang langsung ke lokasi atau menggunakan WhatsApp untuk melihat produk yang akan dibeli. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memeberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada siswa dan siswi pada mebel bima baru tentang fotografi sebagai alat promosi Digital Marketing sebagai strategi dalam memasarkan produk yang ada pada mebel bima baru. Tahap pengabdian kepada masyarakat terdiri dari beberapa kegiatan yaitu: thumbnail dan rough layout, proses produksi yang meliputi tahap digitalisasi dan final design, serta proses paska produksi yang meliputi tahap cetak. Hasil dari Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat adalah mebel bima baru memiliki buku Product Catalogue Lookbook sebagai alat untuk melakukan promosi produk.

Abstract

TPAS Talangagung Kepanjen adalah salah satu TPAS yang memanfaatkan sampah menjadi biogas yang dapat digunakan untuk membangkitkan listrik ataupun sebagai bahan bakar memasak untuk penduduk sekitar. Namun pada tahun 2015 terjadi peningkatan hampir dua kali sampah yang masuk dibandingkan tahun sebelumnya, dimana jumlah volume sampah pada tahun 2014 sebanyak 46,558 m3 dan pada tahun 2015 meningkat menjadi 70,490 m3. Kondisi ini diprediksi akan terus meningkat dan akan menyebabkan volume sampah TPAS Talangagung melebihi kapasitas. Perlu adanya estimasi produksi biogas yang dapat dihasilkan oleh sampah pada TPAS Talangagung sebagai dasar keputusan dalam mengoptimasi sampah yang jumlahnya semakin bertambah. Pada penelitian ini diperoleh hasil prediksi yaitu sampah pada TPAS Talangagung dapat menghasilkan biogas sebanyak 45 m3/hari dalam satu zona/sel TPAS dan dapat memproduksi biogas selama hampir 20 tahun. Namun karena keterbatasan lahan dan peningkatan volume sampah, maka dalam satu zona/sel yang menghasilkan biogas dibawah 50% dianggap sebagai zona/sel non aktif, dan sampah dapat dikonversi menjadi pupuk organik maupun sebagai tempat penghijauan.
