Abstract

Pemahaman tentang sistem informasi merupakan kompetensi dasar yang penting bagi lulusan sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK), khususnya pada bidang Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan (TKJ) serta Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak (RPL). Namun, materi mengenai sistem informasi secara konseptual dan aplikatif masih belum banyak dijumpai dalam kurikulum pembelajaran di tingkat SMK. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan konsep dasar sistem informasi kepada siswa SMK Nurul Amalia Tanjung Morawa melalui pendekatan edukatif dan interaktif. Kegiatan ini melibatkan beberapa tahap, mulai dari koordinasi dengan sekolah, penyusunan materi, pelaksanaan pelatihan, hingga evaluasi sederhana. Metode pembelajaran yang digunakan memadukan penyampaian teoritis, pemutaran video edukatif, diskusi kelompok, serta simulasi alur kerja sistem informasi yang relevan dengan lingkungan sekolah dan dunia kerja. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini mampu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep dan penerapan sistem informasi, serta menumbuhkan minat mereka terhadap profesi di bidang teknologi informasi. Siswa juga menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dalam sesi interaktif. Berdasarkan hasil ini, disarankan agar topik sistem informasi diperkenalkan secara lebih terstruktur dalam pembelajaran vokasional serta diikuti dengan kegiatan lanjutan yang mendorong pengembangan keterampilan aplikatif di bidang tersebut.

Abstract

The development of online sales has undergone significant transformation in line with advancements in technology and changes in consumer behavior. Online sales have now become an integral part of daily life, with continued growth projections driven by improvements in internet infrastructure and the convenience of digital payment methods. Website-based technology allows companies to offer products without spatial and temporal limitations, providing ease for entrepreneurs to market products and manage sales data. SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) take advantage of this opportunity to expand their market and improve their business operations. Pucako Coffee Roastery, as one of the SMEs producing roasted coffee beans in Medan, faces challenges in product marketing limited to offline sales. This results in difficulties for consumers outside the city to purchase products, as well as limited promotional media and transaction management. To address this, this research aims to design a product sales website using the Agile method, which enables product information to be more easily accessed by consumers and helps Pucako Coffee Roastery develop its business more efficiently. By applying the Extreme Programming method in website development, it is expected that the system built will meet information needs and expedite the transaction process, thus enhancing business competitiveness in an increasingly global and competitive market.

Abstract

The development of Information technology has had a significant impact on various aspects of life, including time and Information management. One crucial aspect is an effective and efficient Notification management system, where timely and relevant notifications are essential to support activities in various contexts, both personal, business, and organizational. This study discusses the design and development of a WhatsApp-based Notification Information System to improve internet services at PT PLN Icon Plus. This system is designed to accelerate and facilitate the delivery of information related to disruptions or maintenance of internet services to customers. The method used is Rapid Application Development (RAD), which allows the application development process to be faster and more flexible to changes in user needs. The result of this study is a prototype of an automatic notification system that can send WhatsApp messages directly to customers, thus supporting the creation of more effective and responsive communication between the company and customers. With this system, it is hoped that the quality of PT PLN Icon Plus internet services will increase and customer satisfaction can be maintained.

Abstract

In education, scheduling is crucial and can impact the effectiveness of the learning process. This study aims to create an automated e-learning-based scheduling system equipped with a WhatsApp notification feature. The system was developed using the Scrum method, known for its iterative and incremental project management approach. The system aims to provide students and teachers with easy access to class schedules and direct notifications. Implementing this system at SMA Angkasa 1 Medan is expected to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the educational process. The findings of the study indicate that the system is able to reduce scheduling errors and increase student participation through accurate reminders. Furthermore, the study also identifies various challenges that emerged during the development process and the steps taken to address these issues. Therefore, this automated scheduling system is expected to make a positive contribution to educational institutions in today's digital era

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has encouraged companies to shift from manual processes to digital-based systems in order to improve operational efficiency and data accuracy. In cigarette distribution companies, manual recording of stock and distribution activities often causes various problems such as delayed reporting, discrepancies between warehouse and store stock data, and difficulties in generating accurate and timely reports. Based on a case study in a cigarette distribution company, a Web-Based Cigarette Distribution and Stock Management System was developed as a digital solution. The system was designed using the V-Model methodology, which emphasizes a strong correlation between development stages and testing phases. The system’s main features include stock data management (CRUD), stock request submission by sales, request verification by admins, as well as monitoring and report generation by managers. The implementation utilized PHP & MySQL for the backend, Bootstrap for the user interface, and AJAX to enable real-time data updates. System testing using the Black Box Testing method demonstrated that all key functionalities operated according to user requirements. The system successfully improved distribution efficiency, ensured data accuracy through input validation, and provided centralized data management for easier monitoring and auditing. Consequently, this system enables faster, more transparent, and integrated cigarette distribution processes, thereby supporting the company’s work effectiveness and managerial decision-making.

Abstract

Kompresi citra dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan color quantization di mana dengan mengurangi jumlah warna yang terdapat pada citra maka akan dapat mengurangi jumlah bit yang digunakan untuk merepresentasikan warna – warna tersebut. Semakin rendah jumlah warna yang dikurangi dalam rangka mencapai rasio kompresi yang optimal berdampak pada terdegradasinya kualitas dari citra. Secara umum color quantization menggunakan model clustering dalam proses pembentukan color palette yang akan digunakan sebagai referensi pada saat kuantisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan model clustering berdasarkan nilai max variance pada channel RGB secara terpisah. Proses clustering dilakukan dengan membelah populasi cluster sebelumnya menggunakan nilai mean dari channel RGB yang memiliki nilai variance tertinggi. Color palette kemudian dibentuk menggunakan centroid hasil dari proses clustering. Percobaan pada beberapa citra uji dengan format 32bpp yang kemudian dikompresi menggunakan kuantisasi warna pada format 8bpp dan 4bpp memberikan kualitas dan rasio kompresi yang cukup baik yang diukur menggunakan ukuran MSE, PSNR dan CR di mana nilai MSE yang diperoleh berkisar 3.87 sampai 6.3 pada kuantisasi 8bpp dan 13.39 sampai 19.62 pada kuantisasi 4bpp. Sedangkan rasio kompresi yang diperoleh adalah sebesar 1.44 sampai 2.09 pada kuantisasi 8bpp dan 2.87 sampai 4.23 pada kuantisasi 4bpp. AbstractImage compression can be done by using color quantization where by reducing the number of colors contained in the image it can reduce the number of bits used to represent the colors. The lower the number of colors reduced in order to achieve the optimal compression ratio has an impact on the quality of the image. In general, color quantization uses clustering models in the process of constructing color palette that will be used as a reference during quantization. This study uses a clustering model based on the max variance value on the RGB channel separately. The clustering process is done by dividing the previous cluster population using the mean value of the RGB channel which has the highest variance value. The color palette is then formed using centroids resulting from the clustering process. Experiments on some test images in 32bpp format which are then compressed using color quantization in 8bpp and 4bpp formats provide a fairly good quality and compression ratio with MSE, PSNR and CR assessment where the MSE values obtained ranged from 3.87 to 6.3 at 8bpp quantization and 13.39 to 19.62 at 4bpp quantization. While the compression ratio obtained is 1.44 to 2.09 at 8bpp quantization and 2.87 to 4.23 at 4bpp quantization

Abstract

Toko retail, seperti Alfamart, memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari konsumen. Produk susu adalah salah satu komoditas yang sangat diminati oleh pelanggan toko retail ini. Namun, mengelola stok produk susu dengan efisien adalah sebuah tantangan yang perlu diatasi oleh toko retail. Salah satu solusi yang dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi tantangan ini adalah dengan mengimplementasikan sistem rekomendasi stok. Sistem ini dapat membantu toko retail untuk mengelola stok produk susu dengan lebih efisien dan mengoptimalkan keuntungan. Meskipun sistem rekomendasi stok produk sudah banyak digunakan dalam berbagai industri, namun penerapannya dalam konteks toko retail seperti Alfamart masih relatif terbatas. Hal ini disebabkan oleh karakteristik unik dari toko retail, seperti variasi konsumen, fluktuasi permintaan, dan masalah keterbatasan ruang penyimpanan. Oleh karena itu, permasalahan yang akan dipecahkan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana mengimplementasikan sistem rekomendasi stok produk susu yang efisien dan efektif pada toko retail Alfamart tujuan dari penelitian ini Untuk mengembangkan sistem rekomendasi stok produk susu yang efisien dan akurat berdasarkan metode Moora dengan didapatkan hasil Dengan mempertimbangkan berbagai kriteria dan sub-kriteria, metode SPK Moora menyediakan kerangka kerja yang informatif dan lebih holistik untuk pengambilan keputusan terkait stok produk susu, yang dapat mendukung manajemen toko retail dalam mengambil keputusan yang tepat waktu dan efektif.Kata Kunci : Moora, Sistem Pendukung Keputusan, Alfamart

Abstract

Stunting adalah kondisi gagal pertumbuhan pada anak (pertumbuhan tubuh dan otak) akibat kekurangan gizi dalam waktu yang lama, sehingga, anak lebih pendek atau perawakan pendek dari anak normal seusianya dan memiliki keterlambatan dalam berpikir. Clustering merupakan sebuah metode dalam data mining yang berfungsi untuk membantu proses pengelompokkan data dengan karakteristik yang sama ke suatu wilayah atau kelompok yang sama dan data dengan karakteristik yang berbeda ke wilayah atau kelompok yang lain. Pengelompokkan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diterapkan pada penelitian penderita stunting dalam setiap desa dengan mengelompokkan desa tingkat stunting sangat tinggi, tinggi, sedang dan rendah dengan parameter yang ditentukan yaitu jumlah balita, jumlah penderita stunting dan persentase antara balita dengan penderita stunting. Pengelompokkan hasil stunting bertujuan untuk menginformasikan kepada masyarakat dan pemerintah daerah tentang tingkat penderita stunting. Dalam penelitian ini daerah pengelompokkan yang sudah didapat dimunculkan ke dalam peta untuk dapat menyajikan suatu sistem informasi geografis untuk kesehatan masyarakat. Pengimplementasian metode K-Means terletak pada centroid dan perhitungan jarak untuk mendapatkan jarak terdekat dengan menggunakan Euclidean Distance. Dengan data uji sebanyak data desa di Kabupaten Langkat pada tahun 2021, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem mampu mengelompokkan penderita stunting di setiap desa menjadi empat kluster dengan akurasi metode K-Means clustering mencapai 85.4%.

Abstract

Delta compression uses the previous block of bytes to be used as a reference in the compression process for the next blocks. This approach is increasingly ineffective due to the duplication of byte sequences in modern files. Another delta compression model uses the numerical difference approach of the sequence of bytes contained in a file. Storing the difference value will require fewer representation bits than the original value. Base + Delta is a compression model that uses delta which is obtained from the numerical differences in blocks of a fixed size. Developed with the aim of compressing memory blocks, this model uses fixed-sized blocks and does not have a special mechanism when applied to file compression in general. This study proposes a compression model by developing the concept of Base+Delta encoding which aims to be applicable to all file types. Modification and development carried out by adopting a dynamic block size using a sliding window and block header optimization on compressed and uncompressed blocks giving promising test results where almost all file formats tested can be compressed with a ratio that is not too large but consistent for all file formats where the ratio compression for all file formats obtained between 0.04 to 12.3. The developed compression model also produces compression failures in files with high uncompressed blocks where the overhead of additional uncompressed blocks of information causes files to become larger with a negative ratio obtained of -0.39 to -0.48 which is still relatively small and acceptable.

Abstract

In the era of increasingly sophisticated information technology development like today, in accordance with the Vision and Mission of the Mayor of Medan, namely Medan Maju, a new breakthrough in the form of digital innovation is needed. Given the frequent accumulation of files from the report reports of each rank, both ASN, PHL, PPPSU, and the Head of the Environment. and often get complaints from the Head of the Environment behind the high intensity of their work in Medan Petisah District they must also make so many reports in hard copy form, so the author thought of facilitating the work of the Head of Environment while efficiently using Paper at the Medan Petisah Sub-District Office by designing a Web-Based Application namely the Head of Environment Performance Information System (SIJALI) using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which later this application can be accessed with a smartphone or computer through a browser or in the form of a website.
