Abstract

The purpose of  activities is to help solve the problems of partners to become independent and lead to a productive economy by utilizing corncob waste. The PKM  partner is corn farmers in Desa Saentis which is ± 25 km or 40 minutes from UMN Al-Washliyah. The partner priority issues are  ; (1) aspects of production, including; a) partners do not have the knowledge and skills in processing corncobs; b) partners never to training  processing corncobs from the government or the private sector; c) partners don?t have the appropriate technology to process corncobs into handicraft items. (1) aspects of production, including: a) Focus Group Discussion on the potential of corn waste into handicraft items; b) the use of appropriate technology in the form of grinding machines and hacksaw to make handicrafts from corncobs; c) Benchmarking partners corn cob crafter; and d) training to design handicraft  made from corn cobs. Output targets include: 1) grinding machines and hacksaw; 2) enhancing partner skills in the production of handicraft items made from corn cobs; 3) design of handicraft made from corn cobs such as tissue boxes, decorative lamps, placemats

Abstract

The implementation of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) and the effectiveness of decision-making play a significant role in enhancing the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This research aims to examine the influence of AIS and decision-making effectiveness on the performance of MSMEs in Pematang Serai Village, Tanjung Pura District. Using a quantitative method and a saturated sampling technique involving 35 MSMEs, multiple linear regression analysis was conducted to test the relationship between AIS, decision-making effectiveness, and MSME performance. The research findings indicate that the adoption of AIS has a significant positive impact on MSME performance, with MSMEs effectively utilizing AIS more likely to experience increased revenue growth, profitability, and operational efficiency. Furthermore, the effectiveness of decision-making was found to have a positive impact on MSME performance, enabling MSMEs to respond quickly to market changes, identify growth opportunities, and optimize resource allocation. By integrating quantitative and qualitative findings, this study provides a comprehensive understanding of the influence of AIS and decision-making effectiveness on MSME performance in Pematang Serai Village

Abstract

This community service activity's primary goal is to address the production and marketing-related issues that partners are facing. The production aspect can be resolved by developing the vacuum seal tool for fish packaging and the smoking installation tool known as smart strongbox smoked; the digital marketing aspect can be resolved by coming up with a company name, trademark stickers, and an online store account management system. Observation, focus group discussions (FGD) to identify issues and potential solutions, production tool design, product sales packaging design training, and online store account creation are the approaches taken in this activity. The following are the outcomes/results of this activity: a) the existence of a vacuum seal tool and smart strongbox smoked; b) the existence of an online store account and business brand for Sayur Matinggi smoked catfish products; c) the existence of a more appealing product sales packaging design; and d) the transfer of tools and materials to support the growth of partners' businesses. It was determined that the traditional smoked fish group had gained more knowledge as a result of this socializing exercise, indicating its success.

Abstract

This training in making Minyak Urut Karo (Karo massage oil) is a form of community service activity aimed at children residing at the Cinta Anak Kasih Setia Mu orphanage. The main goal of the program is to enhance participants’ practical skills while fostering an entrepreneurial spirit. Minyak Urut Karo was chosen due to its easily accessible ingredients, simple production process, and promising market value. During the training, participants were guided step-by-step through the oil-making process and were also introduced to basic knowledge of packaging, marketing, and small business concepts. The outcomes showed that participants were able to follow the entire training process effectively and demonstrated an interest in independently developing the product. Beyond skill development, this activity also encouraged participants to gain confidence in exploring business opportunities based on local products. This initiative is expected to serve as an early step toward economic independence and instilling entrepreneurial values from a young age, especially among children living in orphanages.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine accountability, transparency and responsibility for zakat receipts in managing financial reports. This research applies a descriptive qualitative approach, describing and explaining qualitatively with explanatory sentences the Accountability, Transparency and Accountability report data on Zakat Income Levels in the management of Financial Reports at BAZNAS Medan City. The subject of this research is Baznas Medan City. The objects of this research are financial reports, Medan City Baznas zakat fund management reports and the Deputy Chair of Medan City Baznas, Medan City Baznas Financial Staff. The results of this research are that Accountability for Zakat Receipts in Managing Financial Reports: optimal management of zakat funds is able to influence public trust in providing zakat funds to zakat institutions. Transparency in Zakat Receipts in Managing Financial Reports: transparent financial reports have a very important role in building muzakki's trust in BAZNAS Medan City. Financial report transparency refers to the openness and clarity of information presented in the Medan City BAZNAS financial reports. Accountability for Zakat Receipts in Managing Financial Reports: Accountability is very important in managing zakat funds. Accountability for optimal management of zakat funds can influence public trust in providing zakat funds to zakat institutions.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Kompetensi Aparatur Desa, Partisipasi Masyarakat, Pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi dan Transparansi terhadap Akuntabilitas Dana Desa di Kecamatan Beringin. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di 11 desa yang terdapat pada Kecamatan Beringin. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 47 orang yang masing-masing merupakan kepala desa, sekretaris desa, bendahara desa BPD dan masyarakat dari 11 desa yang diteliti. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan diukur menggunakan skala Likert. Sedangkan metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis regresi linear berganda yang dilakukan dengan bantuan Sofware komputer yaitu Statistcal Package For Social Science (SPSS 25). Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kompetensi Aparatur Desa secara parsial dan signifikan berpengaruh terhadap Akuntabilitas Dana Desa. (2) Partisipasi Masyarakat secara secara parsial dan signifikan berpengaruh terhadap Akuntabilitas Dana Desa. (3) Pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi secara parsial dan signifikan berpengaruh terhadap Akuntabilitas Dana Desa. (4) Transparansi secara parsial dan signifikan tidak berpengaruh terhadap Akuntabilitas Dana Desa. (5) Kompetensi Aparatur Desa, Partisipasi Masyarakat Pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi dan Transparansi secara simultan dan signifikan berpengaruh terhadap Akuntabilitas Dana Desa.

Abstract

Kewirausahaan hadir sebagai peluang untuk melahirkan hal-hal baru dan inovatif. Dalam hal ini kewirausahaan tidak hanya perlu diperkenalkan pada kalangan remaja melainkan juga pada anak-anak sejak dini yang bertujuan untuk melahirkan individu yang kreatif dan inovatif, yang mampu mengatasi berbagai rintangan hidup terutama dalam era globalisasi dan masyarakat ekonomi. Mengembangkan kemampuan entrepreneurship pada anak sejak dini dapat melalui program kegiatan yaitu Pengabdian Masyarakat di Rumah Literasi Ranggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif yaitu penelitian yang dilakukan untuk mengetahui gambaran dari suatu usaha yang dilakukan. Hasil program entrepreneur skill yang dijalankan telah menunjukkan hasil positif dalam memotivasi anak untuk menerapkan kegiatan dalam wirausaha. Anak-anak Rumah Literasi Ranggi mengikuti kegiatan ini dengan penuh antusiasme dan menunjukkan ketertarikan tinggi terhadap pendampingan yang dilakukan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di Rumah Literasi Ranggi memberikan dampak dan kontribusi positif kepada anak-anak mengenai Entrepreneur Skil sejak dini dalam peningkatan motivasi dan keinginan berwirausaha

Abstract

Pendidikan memerlukan inovasi dalam menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang menarik dan bermakna. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan di Rumah Literasi Ranggi dengan tujuan meningkatkan keterampilan belajar inovatif (innovative learning skill) melalui pembuatan media ajar interaktif dari bahan bekas. Metode yang digunakan adalah demonstrasi dan tanya jawab. Mahasiswa PPG Prajabatan Matematika berperan sebagai fasilitator dalam mendampingi anak-anak menggunakan media seperti permainan ular tangga perkalian dan papan perkalian. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman konsep perkalian, interaksi sosial, kepercayaan diri, dan keterampilan memanfaatkan sumber daya sekitar secara kreatif. Metode demonstrasi dan tanya jawab terbukti efektif dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang interaktif dan menyenangkan. Kegiatan ini juga memberdayakan anak-anak sekitar dengan memberikan keterampilan dalam mengembangkan media ajar inovatif. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan pengabdian berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika anak-anak melalui pendekatan yang inovatif dan interaktif, serta mendukung lingkungan belajar yang berkelanjutan dengan media pemelajaran yang sesuai kebutuhan peserta didik.

Abstract

This research aims to see the role of trust as a moderating factor between dependent and independent variables in KPP Pratama Lubuk Pakam. The method used in research uses quantitative methods. The population in this study is all taxpayers registered with KPP Pratama Lubuk Pakam in 2024 as many as 90,425 people. The sampling technique uses the simple random sampling method with the Slovin formula, so that a sample of 99.98 or 100 taxpayers are obtained registered in KPP Pratama Lubuk Pakam. The analysis method used in this research is multiple linear regression. The data used in this study is primary data. Data analysis techniques include descriptive statistical tests, validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression tests with the help of SPSS software version 20. The results of the study show that: 1. Taxpayer satisfaction, incentives, and sanctions show an F-calculated value of 16.516 which is greater than F-table 2.47, as well as a significance value of 0.000 which is less than 0.05.2. Satisfaction has a partial and significant effect on taxpayer compliance, which is seen from the t-calculated value (3. 367) which is greater than the t-table (3.367>1.988) with a significance level of 0. 001 which is less than 0. 05. Incentives have a significant influence on taxpayer compliance. It is known that the value of t-calculated (2.107) is greater than the t-table (2.107>1.988) with a significance level of 0. 043 which is greater than 0. 05.4. Sanctions also have a partial and significant effect on taxpayer compliance. The t-calculated value (2.049) is greater than the t-table (2.049 >1.988) with a significance level of 0.038 which is greater than 0.05.
