Abstract

Digital innovation refers to innovations that take advantage of digital technology to obtain new results from digitalization. Currently the digital innovation process has been implemented in a competitive and cooperative setting. Cooperatives as social organizations are required to be able to follow environmental regulations by implementing digital innovation to accelerate national economic growth, reduce poverty levels, and support equitable distribution of people's income. The inability of cooperatives to adapt to meet needs and balance the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 will result in a downturn in cooperative management, such as what happened in 2017 where almost 40% of cooperatives in West Java were inactive. In digital innovation, digital capability are also needed to connect digital technology with professional digital talent. The purpose of this study is to identify and formulate a competitiveness model through digital innovation and capabilities with government support for cooperatives in Bandung. Primary data technique consists of distributing questionnaires, interviews and secondary data through literature studies. Keywords— Digital innovation; capabilities; competitiveness; cooperatives

Abstract

Dinamika lingkungan bisnis saat ini telah menyulitkan perusahaan untuk memperoleh keunggulan yang berkelanjutan. Prilaku pesaing semakin sulit diprediksi sehingga strategi bersaing perusahaan sering kali tidak cukup kuat untuk mempertahankan daya saingnya di pasar. Sehingga perusahaan hanya mampu memiliki keunggulan bersaing secara sementara saja (trancient competitive advantage) dan tidak berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keunggulan bersaing sementara pada unit bisnis Telkom IDeC yang dievaluasi menggunakan analisis kriteria Transient Competitive Advantage, apakah Telkom IDeC telah siap dan sadar menjadi salah satu unit bisnis yang berada dalam kondisi keunggulan tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner dan wawancara kepada senior leader. Teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analytical hierarchy process (AHP). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Telkom IDeC telah siap dan sadar menjadi perusahaan yang memiliki kriteria keunggulan kompetitif sesaat dengan alternatif yang diberikan yakni, 66.2% mempunyai kapabilitas untuk keunggulan sesaat dan 33.8% fokus pada keunggulan yang lama. Kontribusi terbesar diberikan pada aspek systemic innovation (84.7%) diikuti secara berturut-turut oleh customer experience (63.6%), themes (61.5%), dan arenas (55.2%)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the priority strategies of several alternative strategies in IndiHome which are formulated using SWOT analysis. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data used are primary. Sampling using a purposive sampling technique and get seven informants. Primary data generated from the interviews were analyzed using SAP and ETOP to diagnose factors including strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. After that, these factors are formulated in the SWOT matrix to determine alternative strategies. Strategy alternatives are then formulated in the QSPM matrix to obtain priority strategy results for IndiHome. The validity test in this study was carried out by triangulation of sources. The results showed that there were four alternative strategies for IndiHome Telkom Area of West Nusa Tenggara. Based on four alternative strategies, the priority strategy for IndiHome which is determined by QSPM matrix is to upgrade the quality of services provided to customers regularly with a total weight of 7,051. The results of this study are expected to be able to assist in the framework of thinking about strategic management knowledge in the Internet Service Provider (ISP) industry and also provide additional information and insights in the selection of alternative strategies as well as new insights about the condition of the company from an external perspective.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the conditions and problems, as well as alternative strategies that can be providedat the Head Office of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) using the Organizational Life Cycle theory. Thepopulation of this research is the Head of OJK Employees in Jakarta as many as 72 employees. The samplingtechnique used saturated sampling method which obtained 72 respondents. The data analysis technique useddescriptive analysis assisted by Adizes Tools. The results of this study indicate that the Head Office of theFinancial Services Authority (OJK) is in a prime position. This position shows that there is a balance betweenflexibility and control, structured and systematic functions and tasks, significant leadership, quality employees,visionary innovation, and stable liquidity. However, there are several problems, namely the lack of employees,the length of the bureaucracy, inefficient structures, and differences in perceptions between OJK and the public.This problem can be overcome with alternative strategies, namely, improving communication, expertise andknowledge, utilizing technology, eliminating deficiencies in every business process, and scheduling employeeshifts to provide education to the community. The contribution of this research is expected to be able to becomea frame work on organizational life cycle knowledge, especially in the government sector, and be able to provideinformation and considerations to form alternative strategies in overcoming problems experienced in theorganizational life cycle. This research can be used as a new insight into the condition of the company from aninternal perspective.

Abstract

 ABSTRACT Through the Structure and Performance approach, this research aims to analyze the structure and performance of the automotive industry in Indonesia. This research not only aimed to comprehensively analyze both quantitative and qualitative data using mixed method approach, but also explains the correlation between them. The study was conducted in a period of 10 years starting from 2007 to 2016. The result of the analysis shows that: (1) Indonesian automotive industry’s structure is tight oligopoly with the average score of market concentration ratio (CR3) in 2007–2016 is 87,30%, and the average score of MES in 2007–2016 is 71,34%; (3) The performance of the industry is “declining‟ with the ROA average score of Indonesian automotive industry throughout 2007–2016 is  5,97 %; and (4) there is a consistency element in the both research variables, which are structure and performance. It has been proven qualitatively (CR3-ROA is 65,5% & MES-ROA is 67%)  and quantitatively (CR3-MES-ROA is 58,1%). Keywords: Industrial Economy, Structure, Performance, Automotive Industry. ABSTRAK Melalui pendekatan Struktur dan Kinerja, tujuan dari penelitian  ini adalah untuk menganalisis struktur dan kinerja industri otomotif di Indonesia. Penelitian ini tidak hanya bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara komprehensif, baik data kuantitatif dan kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan metode campuran, tetapi juga menjelaskan korelasi di antara mereka. Periode pada penelitian ini adalah 10 tahun mulai 2007 hingga 2016. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Struktur industri otomotif Indonesia adalah oligopoli yang ketat dengan rata-rata nilai rasio konsentrasi pasar (CR3) pada tahun 2007-2016 adalah 87,30%, dan nilai rata-rata MES pada 2007–2016 adalah 71,34%; (3) Kinerja industri “menurun” dengan skor rata-rata ROA industri otomotif Indonesia sepanjang 2007–2016 adalah 5,97%; dan (4) ada elemen konsistensi dalam kedua variabel penelitian, yaitu struktur dan kinerja. Ini telah terbukti secara kualitatif (CR3-ROA adalah 65,5% & MES-ROA adalah 67%) dan secara kuantitatif (CR3-MES-ROA adalah 58,1%). Kata Kunci: Ekonomi Industri, Struktur, Kinerja, Industri Otomotif

Abstract

The research discussed Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM), an independent learning policy for universities in Indonesia issued by the Minister of Education and Culture in 2020. One highlighted policy was the right to study for students to study outside the study program for three semesters. The research intended to determine awareness and implementation of the MBKM program from students, lecturers, and education staff. The research applied a quantitative-descriptive method with a survey model. The research data and information were collected by distributing and filling out questionnaires at the Online Learning System (SPADA) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of Indonesia. The data obtained were then processed through several analytical techniques, namely descriptive statistics using rank order and text processing and analysis. The population in the research consisted of students, lecturers, and educational staff at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Telkom University. The research indicates that the level of knowledge of lecturers, students, and educational staff regarding the MBKM program is relatively high, obtained from various sources of information, including through online/offline channels from the Directorate General of Higher Education. Follow-up that needs to be done as part of continuous improvement is the need for easy access to working groups at the Ministry of Education and Culture and the importance of socializing in terms of rules and technical aspects of MBKM implementation so that activities can run more optimally.

Abstract

Pemerintah Jawa Barat menargetkan bahwa pariwisata adalah sektor yang diandalkan untuk mendukung laju pertumbuhan ekonomi Jawa Barat. Pemerintah Kabupaten Bandung pun turut menyatakan komitmennya dalam mendukung perkembangan pariwisata daerah melalui program Desa Wisata. Desa Wisata Tenjolaya merupakan salah satu desa yang dikembangkan untuk menjadi destinasi wisata berbasis pengelolaan lokal. Namun, berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan oleh tim, pengelolaan yang dilakukan oleh pengelola dirasa belum maksimal sehingga membatasi cakupan pasar wisatawan yang berkunjung. Program pengabdian masyarakat mengusung perancangan strategi inovasi bagi Desa Wisata Tenjolaya dengan pendekatan design thinking. Metode ini digunakan untuk dapat menghasilkan ide inovasi yang sesuai dengan konteks masyarakat sasar. Usulan inovasi disampaikan dalam bentuk proposal bisnis dengan tema “Tenjolaya: One stop healing camping ground” Dari hasil pengujian ide kepada pengelola desa wisata dan calon pengunjung, konsep bisnis yang diusung mendapatkan respon positif. Sehingga terindikasi menarik untuk diimplementasikan.

Abstract

The recent economic slump due to the COVID-19 pandemic causes major problems for cooperatives in West Java in maintaining their business activities. The pandemic significantly impacts the cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Thus, developing strategies for cooperatives to recover, respond, and renew the issue becomes increasingly necessary. The research sought to contribute by developing alternative strategy recommendations for cooperatives in West Java, Indonesia. By doing so, it generated a competitive advantage in the post-pandemic industry. The research data were obtained through two main sources. Primary data came from Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activities involving cooperative stakeholders in West Java, consisting of cooperative managers, academicians, media, and government. Secondary data were taken from previous research. The collected data were analyzed using the Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threat (SWOT analysis) approach to produce strategic recommendations visualized on the SWOT Matrix and categorized into Respond, Recovery, and Renew strategies. The results show five strategy alternatives to exploit opportunities with the cooperatives’ strengths (SO strategy). Seven strategy alternatives were identified to overcome the cooperatives’ weakness with external opportunities (WT). There are six strategy alternatives to anticipate external threats using cooperatives’ strengths (ST). Last, seven strategy alternatives are found to overcome both cooperatives’ weaknesses and external threats.

Abstract

Pemerintah mencanangkan Mandalika sebagai Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus (KEK) di Lombok sekaligus sebagai salah satu destinasi super prioritas. Hal ini membuka untuk bangkit dari dampak resesi ekonomi akibat pandemi Covid-19 dan Gempa 8.0. Kemenparekraf, memfokuskan program percepatan tersebut kepada lima destinasi super prioritas. Salah satunya adalah Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus (KEK) Mandalika. Untuk menangkap peluang pengembangan pariwisata diperlukan pendanaan. Salah satu upaya untuk menarik investor adalah dengan membuat dokumen perencanaan bisnis yang ideal. Kompetensi pembuatan dokumen perencanaan bisnis belum merata di kalangan pengelola desa wisata dan ekonomi kreatif. Metode pelaksanaan program pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan Community-based participatory research yang melibatkan komunitas desa wisata dan ekonomi kreatif berpartisipasi aktif. Dari hasil umpan balik peserta terhadap kegiatan ini sangat baik. Program ini membutuhkan tindak lanjut praktek pembuatan dokumen dengan rentang waktu program yang lebih lama (multi tahun) serta bisa dilaksanakan menggunakan metode service learning.

Abstract

Nusa Tenggara Barat merupakan daerah yang berkontribusi cukup besar pada potensi pariwisata. Di era revolusi industry 4.0, teknologi informasi memegang peranan penting bagi kesuksesan pengembangan bisnis, termasuk pariwisata. Namun, di Nusa Tenggara Barat porsi penduduknya masih banyak yang tidak memanfaatkan internet untuk kebutuhan usaha. Masyarakat sasar di kawasan Desa Wisata Mandalika Lombok Tengah memiliki potensi sumber daya yang menarik untuk dikembangkan menjadi kawasan wisata. Namun, lembaga pengelola menjadi salah satu aspek yang perlu ditingkatkan dalam pengembangan potensi desa wisata. Program pengabdian masyarakat mengusung perancangan inovasi digital bagi desa wisata di Lombok Tengah dengan pendekatan design thinking. Metode ini digunakan untuk dapat menghasilkan ide inovasi yang sesuai dengan konteks masyarakat sasar. Inovasi digital yang diusung adalah pengembangan aplikasi dasbor pariwisata “LombokHub”. Dari hasil pengujian ide kepada pengelola desa wisata, inovasi yang diusung mendapatkan respon positif. Sehingga terindikasi menarik untuk diimplementasikan.
