Abstract

In new product development, the selection of production machines is one very important part because it will greatly affect the success of product development. PT X is a company engaged in the packaging manufacturing industry. Currently PT X is developing biodegradable packaging products that meet food grade standards. In this project's case study, there are four engine brands that will be considered for selection. This study aims to determine priority criteria and the best alternative Pulp Molding machine. This study integrates the AHP method with TOPSIS. The AHP method is used to weight assessment criteria supported by the use of Super Decisions software, while the TOPSIS method is applied to sort the ranking of alternative machines. This study succeeded in determining the most important criteria in determining the choice of engine, in this case the production capacity with a weight of 0.395, while the best alternative machine to choose is JKE with a preference value of 0,503. Thus, this research can contribute to PT X in determining the choice of Pulp Molding machine.

Abstract

This research aims to identify weaknesses in restaurant service which are then corrected by designing recommendations for service improvement using Quality Function Deployment. The method in this research uses the Quality Function Deployment method. The Quality Function Deployment method is used through two iterations, namely House of Quality (iteration one) which aims to translate customer needs into technical characteristics by considering the restaurant's capabilities and Part Deployment (iteration two) which aims to identify prioritized critical parts. Service improvements were carried out based on 10 true customer needs obtained from restaurant customers who had dined in. The first iteration produced 15 technical characteristics and the second iteration produced 31 critical parts which were prioritized for improvements to restaurant services. This research can be concluded that there are 15 prioritized technical characteristics and 31 prioritized critical parts. The results of the technical characteristics and critical parts are the basis for making recommendations for improving restaurant services whose targets need to be met in accordance with the decisions of the owner of Resto Kita.

Abstract

The tourism industry is one of the critical sectors driving regional economic development, creatingjobs, and preserving cultural and natural heritage. The Rembang Regency Government is trying todesign a strategy to increase various tourism potentials that support the tourism industry. Stakeholderscannot optimally manage various tourism potentials in Rembang Regency because the support systemfacilities still need to be improved. Potential tourism segmentation based on facility support systems(SSF) can assist the government in carrying out strategies to increase the potential of the tourismindustry. The main objective of this research is to assist stakeholders in the decision-making processand generate policy advice through tourist mapping results, reducing large-scale tourism industryproblems to a scale that can be understood and acted upon in successful tourism industry marketing.Methods in data collection using literature study and observation with accidental sampling todetermine as many as 20 tours. The K-Means method was chosen to classify tourism potential inRembang Regency, Central Java, Indonesia. The results showed three potential tourism clusters inRembang Regency based on Support System and Facilities (SSF) covering telecommunication, powersource, transportation, waste management, location, clean water source, supporting industry, spatial,hospitality, safety, and security. The results of this study can be used in designing decision-makingstrategies by stakeholders to improve the tourism industry. Increasing the potential of each touristcluster by stakeholders has its advantages and disadvantages.

Abstract

Abstrak-Wok & Wok Express adalah UMKM yang berlokasi di DKI Jakarta dan bergerak di bidang food and beverages yang menjual menu makanan khas negeri Tiongkok. Wok & Wok Express mengalami permasalahan yaitu rendahnya pendapatan, bahkan sempat mengalami kerugian di beberapa bulan ditengah berkembangnya industri makanan dan minuman dalam beberapa tahun terakhir. Berdasarkan peninjauan terhadap pengetahuan konsumen mengenai keunggulan Wok & Wok Express, didapatkan bahwa mayoritas konsumen tidak mengetahui keunggulan yang dimiliki Wok & Wok Express apabila dibandingkan dengan rumah makan Chinese Food lainnya. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, diperlukan penelitian terhadap positioning Wok & Wok Express dengan menggali penilaian konsumen untuk mengidentifikasi atribut, letak posisi dan dapat memberikan strategi perbaikan positioning terhadap Wok & Wok Express. Dalam melakukan penelitian mengenai positioning digunakan metode multidimensional scaling (MDS) yang menghasilkan perceptual map dan selanjutnya akan dilakukan analisis SWOT untuk mendapatkan rancangan strategi perbaikan positioning terhadap Wok & Wok Express. Hasil dari penelitian berupa pemetaan enam rumah makan Chinese Food dan tiga belas atribut. Hasil dari perceptual map menggambarkan pesaing aktual dari Wok & Wok Express dan atribut yang menjadi dasar strategi rancangan perbaikan positioning bagi Wok & Wok Express.kata kunci-positioning, perceptual mapping, multidimensional scaling, rumah makan chinese food.

Abstract

Abstrak-By Lashes merupakan salah satu brand lokal di bidang beauty product yang berdiri pada tahun 2021 di Bekasi dengan produk utamanya adalah bulu mata palsu buatan tangan. Penjualan dari By Lashes mengalami fluktuatif karena faktor pandemi, pengaruh dari kompetitor serta komunikasi pemasaran yang perlu perbaikan, jika dilihat dari jumlah followers pada media sosial Instagram, By Lashes memiliki followers yang sangat sedikit dibandingkan dengan kompetitornya. Hal tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa kurangnya awareness masyarakat terhadap By Lashes sehingga perlu menciptakan awareness serta pengetahuan mengenai produk yang dapat dilakukan melalui komunikasi pemasaran. Pada By Lashes telah diterapkan bauran komunikasi pemasaran akan tetapi belum diterapkan secara optimal. Hal tersebut dapat kita buktikan pada hasil survei pendahuluan dimana terdapat beberapa kekurangan dalam memperhatikan presefensi konsumen sehingga volume penjuallan yang cenderung mengalami penurunan dan tidak memenuhi target. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang perbaikan program komunikasi pemasaran menggunakan metode benchmarking dan tool Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Pengolahan data untuk menentukan partner benchmark terpilih menggunakkan tool AHP. Metode benchmarking digunakan untuk mengetahui gap program komunikasi pemasaran pada By Lashes dengan partner benchmark terpilih. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data diperoleh 13 atribut yang digunakan sebagai acuan dalam melakukan rancangan sistem terintegrasi pada perbaikan program komunikasi pemasaran pada brand By Lashes.Kata kunci- program komunikasi pemasaran, benchmarking, analytical hierarchy process (AHP)

Abstract

Beglam Skincare merupakan salah satu pelakuusaha yang berkembang dan bersaing dalam bidang kosmetik,telah berdiri sejak tahun 2012. Terdapat kendala dalammenjalankan usaha dengan tidak dapat tercapainya targetpenjualan yang telah ditetapkan pada tahun 2022 lalu. diketahuidari jumlah pengikut akun Instagram yang sedikit jikadibandingkan dengan kompetitor lainnya. Adapun faktorlainnya adalah masih rendahnya brand awareness yang diperolehsaat mendapatkan hasil berdasarkan survei pendahuluan.Beglam belum dapat mengoptimalkan dalam penerapankomunikasi pemasaranya. Penelitian ini menghasilkanrancangan sistem terintegrasi terkait perbaikan programkomunikasi pemasaran pada Beglam Skincare menggunakanmetode benchmarking dengan tool Analytical Hierarchy Process(AHP).
