Abstract

The highest production in steel making process is the cost of melting in the Electric Arc Furnace (EAF). The higher the electricity cost , the higher the production cost would be. Some means have to be done , therefore, in the melting process, in order to achieve higher efficiency. One of them is by installing a water cooling panel system at the furnace’s wall and roof. Another way is by chemical reaction through oxygen injection into EAF. The combination of the two will result in tap voltage at higher current and long arc setting. By obtaining higher power factor and long arc, we can achieve higher productivity and electricity cost saving. Experience and data shows that the power factor and long arc obtained can save up to 1.9 Kwh per Nm3 oxygen . Using the data, if oxygen were increased until 30N m3/ton , the fixed production cost would increased approximately 5 % for every increase of Rp.100,-/Kwh in electricity cost. Therefore, in order to stabilize the production cost, energy transformation capacity should be increased to become 130 MVA which is combined with an adequate oxygen injection management

Abstract

Gangguan yang sering terjadi pada sistem distribusi adalah gangguan arus hubung singkat. Untuk itu sistem proteksi dipasang di penyulang gardu induk. Pada penyulang Dieng-2 periode Januari 2019- September 2019 telah terjadi trip sebanyak tujuh kali. Peralatan sistem proteksi utama pada penyulang terdiri dari Over Current Relay (OCR), Ground Fault Relay (GFR), dan recloser. Untuk mengetahui koordinasi sistem proteksi penyulang yang baik diperlukan perhitungan arus nominal trafo, reaktansi sumber, reaktansi trafo, impedansi, dan arus hubung singkat. Hasil perhitungan arus hubung singkat akan menjadi dasar dalam menentukan waktu kerja dan selisih waktu kerja (Δt) relai antara Pemutus Tenaga (PMT) outgoing dan recloser. Pada setting awal relai, terdapat relai yang bekerja  tidak sesuai koordinasi. Pengaturan ulang nilai tms relai diperlukan untuk menyesuaikan waktu kerja (Tk) 0,7 s dan 0,3 s dengan Δt 0,4 s. Sehingga relai dan recloser bekerja sesuai dengan koordinasi proteksi penyulang yang memenuhi standar PLN dan standar IEC 60255.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to examine legal protection for the safety of PT Pertamina Refinery Unit III Plaju workers in the oil refinery project agreement and the legal consequences of termination of employment. The method is normative with secondary data as the main source. The results show that worker safety protection is in accordance with the law, including the provision of protective equipment such as protective clothing, safety shoes and head protection. However, its implementation is not optimal because many workers are not aware of the importance of safety. If employment is terminated, workers are entitled to compensation in accordance with article 165 of the Employment Law. They get severance pay, long service awards and other rights with a certain nominal value. Workers are also considered creditors whose payments take precedence, giving them a priority position in claims.

Abstract

“Anak” biasanya berarti sesuatu yang lebih kecil, seseorang yang belum dewasa, atau benda yang berada “di bawah” benda lain.Terjadi peningkatan laporan kasus penganiayaan orang tua terhadap anak di bawah umur dan kasus penganiayaan anak yang dilaporkan ke Polrestabes Palembang. Salah satu kasus yang terjadi di Panti Asuhan Fisabilira, dimana anak-anak mendapat santunan atas perbuatan yang dilakukan pemilik panti. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan berkenaan dengan penelitian ini merupakan penelitian hukum empiris atau biasa disebut penelitian lapangan, yang hal tersebut menganalisis dan mengkaji peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku saat ini dan apa yang terjadi di masyarakat nyata. Hasil pembahasan ini menjadi dasar pertimbangan hakim dan jaksa yang akan memutuskan apakah reparasi akan berhasil atau tidak, berdasarkan pada dasar evaluasi, landasan pengambilan keputusan, dan nilai-nilai kehidupan dalam masyarakat.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan energi matahari merupakan satu diantara sumber energi yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk penerangan jalan di perkotaan maupun pedesaan. Lampu penerangan bertenaga surya matahari berbasis LED jenis hi-power yang sangat terang, hemat energi dan tahan lama menggunakan panel surya / solar cell sebagai sumber yang berfungsi menerima cahaya (sinar) matahari yang kemudian diubah menjadi listrik melalui proses photovoltaic.Salah satu situs cagar budaya di Desa Jompo Kulon Kecamatan Sokaraja Kabupaten Banyumas dikenal dengan nama petilasan Mbah Jompo. Situs ini berada di tengah persawahan, dimana kondisi ketersediaan penerangan jalan pada lokasi tersebut belum tersedia dengan memadai. Sebagai salah satu bentuk penerapan tridharma perguruan tinggi, perlu dilakukan kegiatan PKM (Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat) untuk membantu warga desa dalam mengatasi masalah tersebut. Dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini, dilakukan kegiatan penerapan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, dalam bentuk implementasi pemanfaatan lampu penerangan bertenaga surya. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di Desa Jompo Kulon Kecamatan Sokaraja Kabupaten Banyumas. Kegiatan ini berhasil melakukan pemasangan lampu penerangan bertenaga surya matahari berbasis LED yang meliputi panel sel surya, batere, alat monitoring, saklar, lampu DC pada lima lokasi titik. Perawatan dan pengontrolan Lampu Penerangan Tenaga Surya diharapkan lebih mudah karena lokasinya yang berada di sepanjang jalan lokasi situs yang mudah terlihat oleh pengelola dan pengunjung situs.

Abstract

Current developments are investments that take advantage of the digital era and globalization using application products, namely financial technology (Omarova, 2020). Financial technology is a combination of financial services and technology that makes changes to businesses that were previously conventional to become modern. Then, with modern technology, things are illegal and use other people's data. This research method uses normative juridical or doctrinal juridical research. The formulation of the problem is legal protection for victims of misuse of personal data when making online loans. The result is that legal protection can take the form of civil legal protection, criminal legal protection. Including those contained in the Financial Services Authority (OJK) regulations, however, this legal instrument does not yet comprehensively regulate the misuse of personal data for online loans.. Keywords: personal data; victim; legal protection; abuse; online loans.

Abstract

The government’s procurement of goods and services is a critical component in supporting the implementation of development initiatives in Indonesia, particularly within government agencies. This study examines the factors that drive the practice of borrowing company names in construction consultant service auctions in Jambi Province. Using a normative legal method, the study seeks to identify the motivations behind the involvement of individuals or business entities in such practices. The findings reveal several contributing factors, including the lack of or inconsistency in obtaining a Construction Service Business Entity Certificate (SBU), limited capital, the desire to leverage a well-known name, efforts to avoid the legal process, and ignorance or negligence of legal requirements. Additionally, the misuse of registered names and reliance on established company reputations emerge as significant motivations.

Abstract

In the digital era, the freedom of expression granted to individuals through social media has the potential to be misused, such as by spreading information that is unlawful or harmful to others. In this context, it is important to analyze the legal regulations governing freedom of expression in digital spaces, with a focus on the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, Law Number 11 of 2008 on Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE Law), the latest amendment in Law Number 1 of 2024, and Article 23 paragraph (2) of Law Number 39 of 1999 on Human Rights. This study aims to understand how the boundaries of freedom of expression can be applied in digital spaces in accordance with existing legislation and to identify appropriate solutions for regulating expression on social media and cyberspace. This research uses a normative approach through literature and document studies, analyzed using descriptive qualitative methods. The findings indicate that although freedom of expression is guaranteed, restrictions must be implemented to maintain public order and to respect the rights of others, particularly in the context of social media and cybercrime. Implications for society, understanding freedom of speech on social media which must be carried out responsibly is crucial and law enforcement officers must be able to interpret the articles in the ITE Law fairly and proportionally.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop an audio   receiver amplifier circuit. The  amplifier consists of a cascode  amplifier which is turned into an  amplifier by adding two parallel  resonators. One parallel  resonator is placed at the input. Another parallel  circuit is used as a collector load. Parallel  circuit was employed because this device is intended for use only over a narrow frequency range. The tuned amplifier’s frequency was  734 . A spoiling resistor of magnitude was added in series with the tuned circuit’s inductor to reduce the sharpness of the resonant peak, resulting in a  bandwidth. The famous cascode configuration was employed to improve the high-frequency performance of this  amplifier. The Multisim simulation results of the circuit shows that it has performed according to the specification. It can be concluded that the designed circuit has successfully carried out his duty, in that only the frequencies of interest within the bandwidth are amplified. The circuit has been able to selects a particular range of frequencies (from a lower frequency of  up to an upper frequency of ), and rejects the other undesired frequencies. Thus, giving the tuned amplifier a bandwidth of . The peak voltage was achieved at frequency of  . Furthermore, the cascode configuration employed has effectively eliminates the most trouble source of high-frequency loss – the input Miller capacitance.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Tanjung Terang Village, Gunung Megang District, Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra. This research aims to analyze and explain how the law is applied to cases involving robbery and rape of women at the same time as the law for children as victims of sexual violence. (Analysis of Decision No. 136/Pid.B/2018/PN Mre) and so that it can later be implemented and useful for the interests of Law Enforcement Officials (APH) and the Community. The method used in this research is qualitative data which is descriptive, opinions and concepts as well as other explanations which are normative in nature. The type and source of data used by the author is a secondary data source which includes primary law and secondary law and the data analysis technique used in this research is the Qualitative Descriptive technique. Based on the research results, the factor that was taken into consideration by the judge in making a decision in this case was that the combined criminal act of two criminal cases, namely two criminal acts committed at the same time, were still carried out with their respective sentences, this combination is called concursus realis. That the second factor in the crime that occurred was basically the intention of the perpetrator himself accompanied by other factors, and apart from that the main factor was local security.
