Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi petani di desa Maddenra, Bina Baru, Kulo, dan Abbokogang, Kecamatan Kulo, dan Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang terhadap fungsi penyuluh pertanian. Dari Maret hingga Juni 2023, dalam jangka waktu 3 bulan 21 hari, penelitian ini dilakukan. Data sekunder dan primer digunakan dalam penyelidikan ini. Wawancara langsung dengan petani menggunakan kuesioner memberikan data primer, sedangkan data sekunder berasal dari Badan Penyuluhan Pertanian (BPP), Kabupaten Kulo, dan Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang. Petani dampingan Balai Penyuluhan dan Pertanian (BPP) dijadikan sebagai populasi penelitian, dan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah pendekatan non-probability sampling. Masyarakat yang dilayani oleh Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian (BPP) di Kec. Kulo dijadikan sebagai populasi penelitian, dan sampel penelitian didasarkan pada arah utara, selatan, timur, dan barat sentra pertanian. Dengan total skor persepsi petani terhadap peran penyuluh pertanian sebesar 6.007 dan indeks persepsi sebesar 80%, analisis data menggunakan skala Likert yang didasarkan pada jawaban atas 25 pertanyaan untuk mengukur persepsi petani terhadap penyuluh. Hasilnya, persepsi petani tergolong baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji sejauh mana persepsi penyuluh pertanian yang kompeten oleh petani di desa Maddenra, Abbokongang, Kulo, dan Bina Baru di Kabupaten Kulo.

Abstract

Jumlah uang yang diperoleh masyarakat selama kurun waktu tertentu sebagai imbalan atas kontribusi terhadap penciptaan barang nasional disebut dengan pendapatan (Suparyanto, 2016). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kontribusi pendapatan petani padi di Desa Sipodeceng, Kecamatan Baranti, Kabupaten Sidrap terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Januari-Maret 2024. Data penelitian diambil melalui wawancara langsung dengan petani. Dan teknik pengambilan sample menggunakan pendekatan Probability sampling yaitu cluster random sampling. Petani di Sipodeceng yang dijadikan sampel, penelitian ini dibagi berdasarkan status petani yaitu petani pemilik penggarap, petani pemilik dan petani penggarap. Dengan hasil kontribusi pendapatan petani pemilik penggarap terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga 76,49 % dengan tingkat kontribusi sangat baik, sedangkan kontribusi pendapatan petani penggarap terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga 65,60 % dengan tingkat kontribusi sangat baik, dan kontribusi pendapatan petani pemilik terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga 74,83 % dengan tingkat kontribusi sangat baik.

Abstract

This study evaluates the implementation of teaching assistance as an embodiment of the Independent Learning - Independent Campus (MBKM) program, focusing on its effectiveness for both educators and students at the high school level. Conducted at SMA Kristen Rantepao, the research employs a quantitative approach, utilizing digital questionnaires via Google Forms to gather data. The findings center on three key aspects of student activities: (a) interaction and socialization levels, (b) collaboration with teachers, and (c) emotional connections with students to boost motivation and learning enthusiasm. The results demonstrate a significant positive impact, with educators acknowledging the program's role in easing their teaching burdens and inspiring students with innovative and creative teaching methods. This program has been identified as effective in enhancing student learning engagement and fostering collaboration among all stakeholders. To optimize the outcomes, it is recommended to provide comprehensive training for participating students.

Abstract

This qualitative study investigates the common grammatical errors produced by English as a Foreign Language (EFL) students in written tasks, and explores possible underlying causes as reported by the students. Using an error-analysis framework, 60 undergraduate learners’ short essays were analyzed for grammatical errors; follow-up semi-structured interviews were conducted with 12 volunteers to probe students’ awareness and perceived causes. Findings indicate that article/determiner misuse, verb tense and aspect errors, subject-verb agreement, preposition misuse, and word order/sentence structure problems are among the most frequent error types. Interview data suggest that first-language transfer, inadequate exposure to grammatical input, faulty internalization of rules, and limited proofreading strategies contribute to recurring mistakes. Pedagogical implications include focused grammar instruction within writing contexts, increased corrective feedback that highlights patterns rather than isolated errors, and explicit metalinguistic awareness activities. The study contributes up-to-date qualitative evidence on error patterns and student perspectives to inform EFL writing pedagogy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of strategies to strengthen the identity of local culinary products, namely Pallu Basa Barru, through integrated training in packaging and digital marketing to increase its attractiveness as a regional culinary tourism destination. The method used was Participatory Action Research (PAR) with a qualitative-descriptive approach, involving Pallu Basa culinary MSMEs in Barru Regency, South Sulawesi. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of training outcomes. The results showed that interventions in visual branding, packaging innovation (instant products), and the adoption of digital marketing (social media and e-commerce) significantly strengthened Pallu Basa's image as a distinctive product. This identity strengthening not only increased the average partner's turnover by 40% in three months but also expanded market reach beyond Sulawesi. The study concluded that combining authentic culinary preservation with modernized packaging and digital marketing strategies is key to transforming local culinary products into high-value tourism assets.

Abstract

Penguasaan grammar dan structure merupakan fondasi penting dalam keterampilan berbahasa Inggris, namun pembelajaran sering berfokus pada hafalan aturan sehingga siswa kurang terlatih bernalar, menganalisis kesalahan, dan menerapkan kaidah pada konteks nyata. Kegiatan ini bertujuan melaksanakan pelatihan grammar dan structure yang berorientasi Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) melalui pendekatan pembelajaran mendalam (deep learning approach) di SMA Muhammadiyah Rappang. Pelatihan dilaksanakan pada peserta didik kelas XI (IPA dan IPS) melalui rangkaian tahap: analisis kebutuhan, penyusunan modul berbasis masalah, praktik terbimbing, diskusi kolaboratif, dan refleksi metakognitif. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran berlangsung pada rentang kegiatan mengajar di kelas XI selama periode PLP 2 (Oktober–November 2025). Laporan Kegiatan PLP FKIP – SMA Muhammadiyah Rappang.Strategi utama meliputi analisis pola kalimat dari teks autentik, error analysis berbasis alasan, rekonstruksi kalimat, serta tugas kreasi teks yang menuntut siswa mengevaluasi pilihan struktur sesuai tujuan komunikasi. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam mengidentifikasi fungsi unsur kalimat, memberikan justifikasi terhadap pemilihan struktur, serta menghasilkan kalimat/teks yang lebih tepat dan bervariasi. Dengan demikian, pendekatan pembelajaran mendalam yang dipadukan dengan tugas HOTS efektif untuk memperkuat pemahaman konseptual sekaligus ketepatan penggunaan grammar dan structure.

Abstract

This study examined the effectiveness of the Missing Lyrics technique using English songs in improving eighth-grade students’ listening skills, with a specific focus on vocabulary recognition and functional word recognition. It also investigated students’ perceptions of the technique. Adopting a quantitative pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design, the research involved 19 purposively selected students from Class VIII A at SMP Negeri 2 Baranti, Sidenreng Rappang Regency, Indonesia. Data were collected through listening comprehension tests (pretest and posttest) and a post-treatment questionnaire, then analyzed using descriptive statistics and a paired-sample t-test in IBM SPSS Statistics. The results revealed a statistically significant improvement in listening performance. The mean score increased substantially from 16.84 (pretest) to 73.95 (posttest), with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). The correlation between pretest and posttest scores was moderate (r = 0.556). Questionnaire responses indicated that, although students had limited prior exposure to listening activities, they exhibited highly positive perceptions toward the technique. Participants reported increased motivation, greater focus, and higher engagement during lessons, attributing these gains to the enjoyable and authentic nature of English songs. The findings demonstrate that the Missing Lyrics technique is an effective, engaging, and practical strategy for enhancing listening skills in EFL contexts, particularly at the junior secondary level. The approach is recommended for teachers seeking innovative, low-cost methods to promote active listening and vocabulary development through authentic materials.

Abstract

The reason to choose this title because it was found that many students had low motivation to learn English. Most of them considered English difficult to understand and irrelevant to their daily communication. This study aimed to explore how the use of Wordwall enhances students’ motivation in learning English and to examine students’ responses toward its implementation in the classroom at SMP Negeri 2 Pitu Riase. The study focused on identifying changes in students’ motivation, participation, and engagement before and after the use of Wordwall as a learning medium. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. The data were collected through open-ended interviews (pre-intervention and post-intervention), classroom observations, and documentation. The participants consisted of 10 seventh-grade students selected through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using an interactive qualitative analysis model including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings showed that the use of Wordwall significantly enhanced students’ motivation in learning English. Before the implementation, students tended to feel bored, less interested, and passive during the learning process. After using Wordwall, students became more enthusiastic, active, and confident in participating in classroom activities. In addition, students responded positively to the use of Wordwall as it created a more interactive, enjoyable, and engaging learning environment. Overall, Wordwall proved to be an effective digital learning medium to improve students’ motivation and participation in English learning.
