Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran perpustakaan sekolah dalam mendukung moderasi beragama sebagai bagian dari upaya meningkatkan toleransi di kalangan siswa. Selain itu, penelitian ini memberikan gambaran mengenai strategi literasi yang dapat memperkuat kohesi sosial di lingkungan sekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan fokus pada program, kebijakan, dan kegiatan literasi yang dilaksanakan di perpustakaan sekolah. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi literatur yang mencakup proses identifikasi, seleksi, dan analisis isi literatur terkait tema perpustakaan, literasi, dan moderasi beragama. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis isi (content analysis) melalui tahapan: a) reduksi data, b) kategorisasi, c) interpretasi, dan d) penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perpustakaan sekolah memiliki potensi besar dalam menumbuhkan sikap toleran melalui literasi yang inklusif. Hal ini dilakukan melalui penyediaan koleksi yang beragam dan mencerminkan nilai-nilai keberagaman, pelaksanaan program literasi informasi dan literasi digital, kegiatan diskusi dan bedah buku bertema moderasi beragama, serta aktivitas mendongeng yang mengangkat nilai-nilai moderasi. Kesimpulannya, perpustakaan sekolah berperan strategis dalam membentuk karakter siswa yang inklusif dan saling menghormati melalui penyediaan literatur yang relevan, program kelas literasi, bedah buku, serta kegiatan mendongeng yang menanamkan nilai-nilai moderasi, keberagaman, dan toleransi.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan terkait sumber belajar buku elektronik yang dapat dimanfaatkan peserta didik sebagai sumber belajar mandiri guna mengatasi kebutuhan peserta didik dalam mendapatkan sumber belajar yang relevan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Madrasah Aliyah Miftahul Ulum Sungai Asam pada tanggal 4 Juni 2022. Kegiatan pengabdian ini telah melalui tahapan yaitu tahap identifikasi masalah,perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Metode yang dipilih berupa sosialisasi berupa ceramah dan tutorial dalam pemanfaatan e-book oleh pelaksana dan asisten pelaksana. Masyarakat yang menjadi sasarannya yakni seluruh siswa Madrasah Aliyah Miftahul Ulum Sungai Asam yang berjumlah 19 siswa. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukan bahwa peserta didik mendapatkan pengetahuan baru terkait sumber belajar elektronik berupa e-book yang terdapat pada google book, portal resmi dari Kementerian Agama, dan portal resmi milik Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia. Siswa dapat menelusuri e-book yang tersedia pada portal tersebut secara mandiri untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran. Melalui kegiatan ini, jumlah siswa yang terampil dalam pemanfaatan e-book mengalami peningkatan persentase.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan pojok baca dan strategi pemanfaatan pojok baca sebagai implementasi Gerakan Literasi Sekolah d SMPN 3 Sungai Raya. Sasaran yang digunakan untuk penelitian terdiri dari kepala sekolah, pelaksana program GLS dan siswa di kelas yang memiliki pojok baca. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi terhadap peserta didik pojok baca dimanfaatkan siswa di kelas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan 4 orang narasumber yaang terdiri dari 1 orang kepala sekolah dan petugas perpustakaan serta 2 orang pesserta didik. Pihak sekolah berupaya untuk menanamkan budaya literasi terhadap peserta didik dengan membuat kegiatan membaca 15 menit sebelum pelajaran dimulai dengan memanfaatkan pojok baca yang ada di kelas. Guru dan pihak sekolah membiasakan para siswa untuk mengunjungi pojok baca dan memanfaatkan berbagai koleksi yang tersedia. Pojok baca dapat memberikan suasana yang berbeda di kelas,disaat jam istirahat siswa dapat memanfaatkan pojok baca untuk menemukan informasi ataupun hanya untuk berdiskusi terkait pelajaran. Selain itu keterlibatan guru untuk mengajak siswa mamanfaatkan pojok baca menjadi faktor penting untuk menumbuhkan  literasi peserta didik. Hasil penelitian memaparkan dalam penerapan pojok baca dimulai dengan tahap pembiasaan, tahap pengembangan dan tahap pembelajaran pada setiap tahapan memiliki kegiataan yang dapat menarik minat literasi serta dalam strategi pemanfaatan pojok baca berisi kegiatan pengenalan pojok baca, kegiataan menyenangkan, membebaskan pengguna dan membiasakan pemanfaatan pojok baca. Beragam kegiatan yang dilakukan sekolah berguna untuk menarik minat serta mengembangkan budaya literasai peserta didik untuk mendukung program Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS).

Abstract

This research aims to determine the spatial planning of libraries in increasing students' interest in reading as well as the spatial planning strategies used to attract students' interest in reading. The method used is a qualitative method, by obtaining data and then analyzing it using descriptive analysis. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation techniques. Interviews were conducted with 4 informants. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. Data validity techniques use four techniques: credibility, transferability, dependability, confirmability. The results of the research show that the spatial planning of the Ibnu Sina library at SMP Negeri 12 Pontianak as a whole has been running but has not yet reached the ideal standard based on the 2015 school library spatial planning guidelines. Indicators that are still lacking are the aspects of airing, instructions or signs. Meanwhile, the indicators for coloring, security, safety and accessibility have been met. The strategy used to increase interest in reading in the library is through physical and non-physical arrangements in the form of library facilities in the form of collection development, literacy activities and promotions which are considered to have been implemented although not yet optimal and still need to be improved.

Abstract

The Community Partnership Program (PKM) aims to increase the understanding of study programs at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Tanjungpura University regarding the implementation and monitoring of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, which includes education, research, and community service. This activity involves the socialization of monitoring instruments designed by the Faculty Quality Assurance Unit (UPMF) to evaluate the quality of academic and managerial services within FKIP. The approach used in this PKM includes socialization and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) which allows participants to provide input related to the instruments that have been socialized. The results of the PKM showed that the participants, consisting of the Head of Department, Head of Study Program, and representatives of the Quality Assurance Group, gained an in-depth understanding of the importance of monitoring and evaluation to ensure the quality of the Tri Dharma. Feedback from the FGD is also used to improve the monitoring instrument to be more relevant to the context of the study program. With effective monitoring instruments, it is hoped that the study program at FKIP Tanjungpura University can improve the quality of education, research, and community service according to the set standards, support the improvement of the quality of higher education, and make a positive contribution to the community.

Abstract

Digital repository is a storage medium for the academic community that is open access. The selection of marketing media and content that has not attracted users utilizes digital repositories and affects the user level. The method used is qualitative with non-participant observation techniques, in depth interviews. Data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion, while data validity tests use credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The results showed that the skills possessed by librarians include 8 skills, namely: Digital marketing skills, direct marketing, policy aspect abilities, technical abilities, target analysis, information technology, marketing media creativity, managing time, evaluating. identification is carried out through the concept of 4P, marketing is not optimal for libraries and librarians externally.

Abstract

AbstractThis study discusses then application of the 2017 Regency/Municipal SNP the Archives and Libraries Office of Kubu Raya. The method used is qualitative research, data collection techniques in the form of direct observation, documentation, and interviews. There are 4 informants who have special abilities in the field of libraries. The results showed that the location of the Archives and Library Office of Kubu Raya Regency was in a location that was not strategic and had no direction, and was behind the Education Office and Health Office so it was difficult to see. The area of the Kubu Raya Regency Library is not adequate because it is not in accordance with the National Library Standards. In the Regulation of the Head of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia Number 8 of 2017 concerning National Standards for Regency/City Libraries for infrastructure, a minimum building area of 0.0082 per capita is calculated, which if calculated the library building area is 4,635 m2 per capita. Meanwhile, the building area of the Office of Archives and Library of Kubu Raya Regency is 8 x 24 m2 . Constraints experienced by the Kubu Raya Regency Library are library building and budget problems.Keywords: Facilities and Infrastructure, National Standards of Libraries, Public Libraries.

Abstract

AbstractThis study discusses strategies to improve the ability of librarians in serving users at the IAIN Pontianak Library. The purpose of the study was to determine the library strategy of IAIN Pontianak to improve the ability of librarians to serve users, types of services and library constraints in implementing strategies to improve the ability of librarians. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data sources of this research are the head of the library, librarians, and users. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the strategy carried out by the IAIN Pontianak library was to include librarians and library staff in librarianship training, become members of librarian organizations at both the provincial and national librarianship organizations and improve literacy education. The types of services provided by librarians to users are the behavior of librarians towards users to improve services, types of services that are not yet available, types of services that are most influential and how to deal with users who complain about services. The obstacles faced are the basic abilities of various librarians, limited funds, and the librarians have not mastered the basic applications of information systems.Keywords: Library, Strategy, type of service

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dilaksanakan di SDN 10 Sungai Kakap, Kabupaten Kubu Raya. PkM ini dilaksanakan sebagai bagian dari Tri Darma Perguruan Tinggi. Pengabdian Dosen dan Mahasiswa Prodi D[1]3 Perpustakaan, untuk mengamalkan ilmu yang terkait dengan bidang perpustakaan. Sebagaimana judul PkM ini, yakni "Sosialisasi Peningkatan Kegemaran Membaca melalui Gerakan Literasi Sekolah". Ketika sudah berada di lapangan Tim PkM dihadapkan pada masalah yang serius, yakni rendahnya kemampuan membaca siswa. Jadi sosialisasi diubah menjadi pelatihan teknik membaca yang tepat. Dari 30 Siswa Kelas 3 SDN 10 Sungai Kakap, yang dapat membaca dengan lancar sejumlah 10 siswa, sedangkan 20 siswa masih membaca dengan terbata-bata. Berdasarkan fakta tersebut siswa diberikan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca. Setelah diberikan pelatihan singkat mengenai teknik membaca nyaring dan pemahaman isi bacaan, siswa diberikan teks bacaan singkat unstuk menilai kemampuan membaca nyaring dan pemahan bacaan. Setelah selesai pelatihan para siswa merasa senang dapat meningkatkan daya bacanya

Abstract

Library materials as information resources are the main issue of the existence of university libraries in providing services to users. The existence of library materials as information resources has a variety of formats that can provide knowledge for its users. However, the existence of library materials will certainly not provide maximum benefit to its users if the library materials are not well organized, because standard information organization will create a good information retrieval process or library materials. This community service activity aims to provide knowledge and skills in analyzing subjects and determining notation of library materials using DDC for library managers of STIT Darul Ulum Kubu Raya. This training uses the lecture method in the form of socialization and practice. The results of this activity showed that the participants were very enthusiastic about participating in the training, the participants were able to analyze subjects and determine the correct notation independently or in groups and they were interested in processing library materials independently using DDC. The participants who were library managers at STIT Darul Ulum Kubu Raya gained knowledge about techniques for analyzing subjects and determining notation of library materials using DDC. The participants also hoped that from this activity there would be further activities in the form of training in library material cataloging techniques.
