Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the opportunities and challenges of agents in marketing sharia insurance products in Bumi Putra Jambi. This type of research is qualitative research. The data used is primary data obtained from the Bumi Putra Jambi company. The population is 463 customers during 2010-2022. The analysis used is swot analysis, swot analysis is the identification of various factors systematically to formulate company strategy. Strength (strength), weakness (weakness), Opportunity (opportunity) and threat (threat) are the company's strategic factors that need to be analyzed in the current conditions. The results of the study used strength (1.38), weakness (1.26), opportunity (1.61), and threat (0.93). So it can be concluded that the aopportunities and challenges have the same risk, so the Bumi Putra Jambi company must prepare the right strategy for agents in increasing customers and marketing sharia insurance products.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the analysis of the Indonesian Islamic Bank (BSI) KC Jambi - Gatot Subroto regarding contract risk management in the distribution of mudharabah financing in the UMKM segment which is distributed to customers by Bank Syariah Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to find out how the role of the Indonesian Islamic Bank (BSI) KC Jambi - Gatot Subroto in analyzing the financing they channeled to customers greatly impacted Indonesian Islamic banks. The type of research method used is descriptive qualitative research on mudharabah contract financing in the UMKM segment at the Indonesian Islamic bank (BSI) Jambi - Gatot Subroto branch office regarding the distribution of mudharabah contract financing. It turns out that from the results of this study, the funds distributed were obtained by several factors that caused problems in financing mudharabah contracts in the UMKM segment such as internal and external factors, including internal factors such as inaccurate analysis, incorrectly predicting collateral or guarantees, and poor employee performance. good, then on external factors such as the global economy, natural disasters, declining sales levels and customers getting out of obligations during the contract. The results of this study are expected to be a reference and input for Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Jambi - Gatot Subroto in analyzing the risk of murabahah contract financing in the UMKM segment in the Indonesian Islamic bank KC Jambi - Gatot Subroto.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the perception of the people of Kampung Baru, Kec. Muara Tembesi about Islamic banks. The author uses qualitative methods by using data collection methods by means of interviews, observations, documentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study found that the perceptions of the people of Kampung Baru were different. There are four categories that are perceived by the public, namely Islamic banks that have operated using sharia principles, which are 67%, Islamic banks which are considered not yet fully operating using sharia principles, which are 15%, Islamic banks as a forum if there is a need, which is 11%, really. really do not understand Islamic banks by 24%. And there are four factors that influence the four categories, namely personal factors, psychological factors, and social factors

Abstract

This thesis aims to determine the Effect of Good Corporate Governance and Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility on Profitability (ROA) in Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia in 2017-2020. This study uses the independent variable, namely Good Corporate Governance with the proxy of the Board of Commissioners, Board of Directors and Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility. The dependent variable is Profitability (ROA). The data used in this study is secondary data, namely the annual report and the GCG report of Islamic Commercial Banks for the 2017-2020 period. The population in this study are all Islamic Commercial Banks registered with the Financial Services Authority in the 2017-2020 period. The sample was selected by purposive sampling method and 8 samples were obtained. The analytical method used in this research is panel data regression, model testing, classical assumption test, t test, and f test which are processed using the Eviews 8 application and Microsoft Excel 2010.           The results of this study indicate that the board of commissioners has no effect on profitability (ROA) at Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia in 2017-2020. The board of directors has no effect on the profitability (ROA) of Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia in 2017-2020. Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility has no effect on profitability (ROA) at Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia in 2017-2020. The board of commissioners, board of directors, Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility simultaneously (simultaneously) affect the profitability (ROA) of Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia in 2017-2020.

Abstract

The background to this thesis is that apart from Muslim customers, there are also non-Muslim customers who are gold pawning customers at the Pekanbaru branch of Bank Syariah Mandiri. The aim of this research is to find out the motives of non-Muslim communities for using gold pawning financing services at Bank Syariah Indonesia Jambi Branch Office and to find out how Islamic economics views the motives of non-Muslim communities for using gold pawning financing services at Bank Syariah Indonesia Jambi Branch Offices. The population in this study was 4 non-Muslim customers who used the gold pawn financing services of Bank Syariah Indonesia, Jambi City Branch. This research is field research or what is known as field research. The location of this research is Bank Syariah Indonesia, Jambi City. The sample in this research was all non-Muslim customers, namely 4 people who used gold pawning financing services at Bank Syariah Indonesia, Jambi City. After the author conducted research, it can be concluded that the motive for non-Muslim people to become gold pawning customers at Bank Syariah Indonesia Jambi City Branch is because non-Muslim customers need capital, such as to sell in markets. Some of the motives used by non-Muslim customers are personal motives, cultural motives, religious motives, stimuli, Islamic economic views on the motives of non-Muslim communities for using gold pawn financing services at the Pekanbaru branch of Bank Syariah Mandiri in accordance with the rules of Allah SWT, leading to the achievement of goodness, prosperity, helping humans to achieve success.

Abstract

Purpose -This study aims to identify and examine the empirical literature of the past eight years (2017-2024) regarding the utilization of sharia governance in Islamic Banks in Indonesia and its impact on the trust and loyalty of Islamic bank customers.Methodology -The research methodology adopted was a systematic literature review conducted through literature exploration in the undergraduate google database with the help of Publish or Perish (PoP) software. A total of 640 articles addressing Islamic governance were initially identified and then screened using the covidence web based on inclusion and exclusion criteria and alignment with the research questions outlined in this systematic literature review, resulting in a final selection of 20 articles for review.Findings -The findings of the investigation explain that the dominant research approach used by scholars is quantitative, utilizing various statistical analysis techniques, including multiple linear regression analysis and Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Islamic banking institutions in Indonesia have integrated sharia governance practices, utilizing various tools rooted in the principles of good corporate governance and sharia compliance. The results of this systematic literature review indicate that effective Islamic governance within Islamic banks in Indonesia has been proven to foster customer trust and loyalty.

Abstract

This thesis aims to determine the competition of the Tifany mini market business with other modern markets in Muara Bulian sub-district and to determine the marketing strategy of the Tifany Mini Market to survive the competition of the modern market in Muara Bulian sub-district. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods by conducting observations, interviews, documentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research conclusions obtained from interviews with informants revealed that, 1) the competition in the retail business in the city of Muara Bulian Jambi is indeed very tight, this is because more modern retailers have emerged such as Alfamart and Indomart, so that retailers from the area themselves must be ready to compete, 2) What makes the Tifany Mini Market survive in the midst of the booming modern retail business is in the success of the Tifany Mini Market, the first thing to do is to maintain product quality, in addition to the quality of service and trust in consumers for loyal customers are allowed to be in debt so that consumers remain loyal to the Tifany Mini Market. In addition, continuing to add appropriate and more adequate facilities so that customers feel safe and comfortable when they are in the store and supported by a strategic location makes the Tiffany Mini Market able to successfully survive and compete amidst the booming retail business.

Abstract

Frugal living, or a frugal lifestyle, embodies a concept that coincides with Islamic financial principles, emphasising equilibrium, sustainability, and the avoidance of excessive consumerism. The concept of frugal living has gained increasing relevance in modern economic discourse, particularly in response to financial instability, environmental concerns, and the need for responsible resource management. In the digital age, the payment system utilising the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) has gained prominence as a tool for facilitating more efficient and transparent financial transactions.  This study examines how the use of QRIS within the Islamic financial framework can enhance ethical consumption practices aligned with the tenets of frugal living.  This research, employing a qualitative methodology through literature analysis, determined that QRIS effectively diminishes cash utilisation, which may foster impulsive spending, enhances precise financial documentation, and reinforces Sharia financial principles such as justice, transparency, and sustainability.  This approach promotes more inclusive and efficient transactions, aligning with the maqashid shariah objectives of preserving individual and societal welfare.  This research suggests that the digitalisation of Islamic finance via QRIS can serve as a strategic tool for fostering more ethical and responsible consumer practices.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness and perceived risks on the decision to use e-wallets among students in Jambi City. This research is a quantitative research, collecting data using questionnaires and questionnaires. The sample of this research is students who are in the city of Jambi, totaling 100 people. The results of this study show that the variables Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness and Perceived Risk simultaneously influence the decision to use e-wallet. This result can be proven from the simultaneous f test value with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 which means significant, the (partial) t-test results on the Perceived Ease of Use variable show that Perceived Ease of Use (X1) has a significant effect on the decision to use e-wallet, this is indicated by the t count > t table of 5,992 > 1.966 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, the t-test results (partial) on the Perceived Usefulness variable show that Perceived Usefulness (X2) has a significant effect on the decision to use e- wallet, this is indicated by the t count > t table of 10,462 > 1.966 with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 and the results of the t-test (partial) on the Perceived Risk variable show that Perceived Risk (X3) has a significant effect on the decision to use e-wallets, this is indicated by the value of t count > t table of 6,623 > 1.966 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. And the R Square value is 0.642 or 64,2% which indicates that the independent variables have an influence of 64.2% on the use decision variable (Y).

Abstract

The subject matter of this thesis is how cash waqf is managed at the Al-Munawwarah Mosque, Penyengat Rendah Village, Telanai Pura District, Jambi City. The purpose of this discussion is to find out how to manage cash waqf, cash waqf management, and supporting and inhibiting factors in managing cash waqf at the Al-Munawwarah Mosque, Penyengat Low Village, Telanai Pura District, Jambi City. This research is a field research using qualitative methods. Data collection techniques with observation, interviews and documentation. The interviewees consisted of 5 sources, namely Mr. Yatno, Mr. Nana Nuryana, Mr. Syahrul Riyadi, Mr. M. Heri, and brother Abdi. The results of this study are that the management of cash waqf is managed directly by the administrators of the mosque, especially the treasurer. The management of cash waqf is carried out by creating a compensation program for orphans and the poor and community empowerment programs. In the process of managing cash waqf there are supporting factors, namely the enthusiasm of the congregation and residents for cash waqf so that the funds collected every week or month are relatively large, while the inhibiting factors are the lack of human resources in managing cash waqf, especially nazhir and the lack of public awareness of the importance waqf cash.
