Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the acceptance of science teachers to the use of zoom in carrying out learning in accordance with the nature of science within the framework of the technology acceptance model. This research is a quantitative research with data analysis techniques using descriptive techniques and path analysis. The research population was 34 science teachers who were members of the science teacher association (PPII) in the Riau region, with a sample of 27 teachers who used zoom when teaching. The variables studied in this study were selected from 4 variables from the TAM framework, namely: perceived usefulness (PU), perceived ease of use (PEOU), behavioral intention to use (BIU) and, actual technology use (ATU). The results of the study show that the teacher's perception of zoom is seen by the PU, PEOU, and BIU variables in the high category, because zoom is easy to use and can facilitate the implementation of learning in accordance with the nature of science. While the ATU in the low category is due to the influence of other factors such as the network. Path analysis showed a significant relationship between the following variables: 1) PEOU and PU, 2) PU and BIU, 3) PEOU and BIU, and 4) BIU and ATU.

Abstract

The implementation of an e-learning system for the Kejar Paket B and C programs at PKBM (Community Learning Activity Center) Woyo aims to enhance the quality of learning and educational accessibility for students. This system is designed with various features such as online learning modules, discussion forums, online exams, and progress monitoring. By implementing e-learning, it is expected to increase student participation and motivation, providing flexibility in the learning process. This system also facilitates interaction between teachers and students, creating a more interactive and effective learning environment. This implementation is anticipated to serve as a model for other PKBMs in improving the quality of non-formal education in Indonesia.

Abstract

UMKM (Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah) memiliki peran penting dalam perekonomian, sering kali UMKM menghadapi tantangan untuk tetap exist ditengah-tengah persaingan produk yang semakin tinggi. Kemasan memiliki daya tarik tersendiri disamping kualitas produk yang dimiliki, dimana kemasan memiliki informasi produk yang dijual, maka penting untuk menyampaikan informasi tersebut ke pelanggan, salah satunya mendesain kemasan produk untuk menarik pelanggan. Desain kemasan sangat penting dalam daya saing produk karena dapat menarik konsumen sehingga mningkatkan penjualan. Metode yang dilakukan dengan melakukan survei dan wawancara ke pelaku UMKM untuk menggali informasi permasalahan yang dihadapi UMKM berkaitan tentang. UMKM yang mengikuti ini adalah UMKM yang bergerak dibudang kuliner dan yang masih membutuhkan pelatihan dan desain atau merancang kemasan agar mengahsilkan daya tarik bagi konsumen. Implikasi kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat bagi UMKM dari segi pengetahuan dan mampu mendesain kamasan secara mandiri sihingga dapat meningkatkan daya saing produk yang dihasilkan.

Abstract

The inventory system is a crucial component for companies to facilitate the process of recording goods and generating reports in a structured, controlled, systematic, and interconnected manner. At PT Raih Usaha Karya Mandiri, the recording of goods entering and exiting the warehouse is still done manually, using a logbook form. This often leads to recording errors and data mix-ups, hindering access to information when needed. To address this issue, a web-based inventory system was developed using the waterfall system development method, which operates sequentially. The system was designed using a MySQL database and PHP programming language. The implementation results indicate that the developed inventory system simplifies the recording of goods movement, enhances stock data accuracy, and accelerates the process of creating inventory reports, there by supporting the work efficiency of PT Raih Usaha Karya Mandiri employees.

Abstract

Opak adalah kerupuk yang berbahan dasar ubi kayu dan ketela yang dikukus terlebih dahulu.Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan di Rumah Produksi Opak Kukus yang beralamat di Jl Perintis, Kelurahan Bumi Ayu, Kecamatan Dumai Selatan, Dumai Riau. Pengeringan opak kukus pada saat ini masih dilakukan secara konvensional, yaitu dilakukan di tempat terbuka dan bergantung dengan sinar matahari dijemur diatas pelepah daun kelapa. Untuk menanggulangi permasalahan yang ada pada UMKM Opak Kukus, dalam penelitian ini dibutuhkan teknologi tepat guna. Diharapkan dengan adanya perancangan dan demo alat pengering kerupuk tipe Meja membantu menjaga kualitas dan keamanan produk Opak Kukus yang dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat. Dengan proses pengeringan yang optimal, risiko kontaminasi dan kerusakan pada Opak Kukus dapat dikurangi, sehingga menghasilkan produk yang lebih aman dan berkualitas bagi konsumen. Alat Pengering Kerupuk Bagi UMKM didesain bentuk meja yang dapat dibuka dan dutup, mudah dibawa karena didesain menggunakan roda, hal ini dilakukan agar memberikan kenyamanan penggunanya memiliki pegangan tangan memiliki warna hitam dibagian kaki dan alas berwarna silver agar tidak mudah terlihat kotor dan bahan utamanya adalah plat dan besi ukuran tinggi 70 cm, lebar 70 cm, dan Panjang 120 dan dapat dibuka dengan Panjang 240 cm

Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) telah menjadi teknologi utama dalam meningkatkan keberlanjutan lingkungan, terutama dalam pengelolaan air dan pertanian. Namun, masih terdapat tantangan dalam efisiensi penggunaan sumber daya, pemantauan real-time, dan pengambilan keputusan berbasis data. Tanpa sistem pemantauan cerdas yang terintegrasi, praktik pengelolaan air dan pertanian sering kali tidak optimal, menyebabkan pemborosan sumber daya dan dampak lingkungan yang lebih besar. Tinjauan literatur ini mengeksplorasi berbagai aplikasi IoT dalam sistem pemantauan cerdas, dengan fokus pada solusi yang diterapkan, teknologi sensor, parameter lingkungan yang dipantau, hasil implementasi, serta tantangan dan rekomendasi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa IoT dapat meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan sumber daya, mendukung pengambilan keputusan berbasis data, serta mengoptimalkan praktik pertanian dan distribusi air. Namun, tantangan seperti biaya implementasi yang tinggi, privasi data, dan interoperabilitas masih menghambat adopsi secara luas. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, studi ini merekomendasikan peningkatan aksesibilitas teknologi IoT, pengembangan komunikasi nirkabel bawah tanah, serta keterlibatan publik dalam pengelolaan air pintar. Dengan solusi ini, IoT berpotensi menciptakan sistem pemantauan lingkungan yang lebih efisien dan berkelanjutan di masa depan. The Internet of Things (IoT) has become a key technology in enhancing environmental sustainability, particularly in water management and agriculture. However, challenges remain in resource efficiency, real-time monitoring, and data-driven decision-making. Without an integrated smart monitoring system, water and agricultural management practices are often suboptimal, leading to resource waste and greater environmental impact. This literature review explores various IoT applications in smart monitoring systems, focusing on implemented solutions, sensor technologies, monitored environmental parameters, implementation outcomes, challenges, and recommendations. The findings indicate that IoT can significantly improve resource efficiency, support data-driven decision-making, and optimize agricultural practices and water distribution. However, challenges such as high implementation costs, data privacy concerns, and interoperability issues still hinder widespread adoption. To address these challenges, this study recommends improving IoT technology accessibility, developing underground wireless communication systems, and increasing public engagement in smart water management initiatives. By implementing these solutions, IoT has the potential to create more efficient and sustainable environmental monitoring systems in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to design a web-based patient registration information system at Puskesmas Purnama, Dumai City, to address the inefficiencies of the existing manual registration process. The conventional method often leads to long queues, data entry errors, and delayed services. The system was developed using the Waterfall model, consisting of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing phases. The application was built using PHP for programming and MySQL as the database, with a web interface designed to be user-friendly for both staff and patients. The resulting prototype allows online registration and provides a more structured and efficient data management process. With this system, the administrative services at Puskesmas Purnama are expected to become faster, more accurate, and digitally integrated.

Abstract

The enforcement of local regulations (perda) in Dumai City has faced administrative challenges due to the continued use of inefficient manual data recording systems. This study aims to design a management information system for recording violations of local regulations at the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) as part of an internal e-Government implementation. The system development method follows an iterative approach, beginning with needs analysis through observation and interviews, system design using Unified Modeling Language (UML), and implementation using the Laravel framework and MySQL database. The developed system includes key features such as violation and advertisement data input forms, category management, graphical report visualization, and printing of report. Testing results show that the system significantly improves data recording efficiency, accelerates historical data retrieval, and enhances report accuracy. Performance evaluation indicates up to a 70% increase in efficiency compared to manual methods. Therefore, the system contributes to digital transformation within Satpol PP and can serve as a model for internal e-Government implementation in managing regulatory enforcement data at the regional government level.
