Abstract

This research has a background regarding phishing and business image. This study aims to find out the recovery of business image by the @bajuyuli team and to find out the efforts to prevent cyber crime phishing by the @bajuyuli team. This research uses qualitative data analysis methods and techniques. The technique for determining informants in this study uses the purposive sampling technique. The purposive sampling technique is a method of selecting samples based on the desired goal by the researcher. With this technique, the researcher used three informants consisting of, @bajuyuli business owners, Instagram @bajuyuli admins, and customer @bajuyuli. The results of the research emphasized the importance of transparency, data security, and the role of Public Relations in overcoming crises and strengthening business reputations in the digital world. Efforts to combat such attacks require quick and effective recovery measures, as well as increased cybersecurity awareness among business owners and teams. This research provides insight into the importance of protecting business image from cyber attacks.

Abstract

The research is motivated by the development of technology that support social media as a new dimension in developing the need to find information and knowledge. Social media that is popular among the people one of which is social media instagram, there are also popular accounts in it, one of which is the instagram account @cikadongdong_rivertubing which discusses information about the Cikadongdong River Tubing tourist attraction located in Payung Village, Rajagaluh Sub-district, Majalengka Regency presented in the form of photos and videos and there is information to explain the photos and videos uploaded. The aim of this research is (1) To find out how marketing communication through instagram as an effort to introduce Cikadongdong River Tubing attractions in Payung Village, Rajagaluh District, Majalengka Regency (2) To find out the marketing communication constraints faced by managers in introducing attractions through instagram (3) To find out the effort made by managers in dealing with obstacles when introducing attractions through instagram. The method of thus research used in this thesis is a descriptive qualitative research method with data collection that carried out by means of interviews, ibservation, and documentation using five informants, one kay informant is the manager and admin of the instagram account @cikadongdong_rivertubing, and four supporting informants namely visitor and followers of the instagram account @cikadongdong_rivertubing. The results of the study concluded that, (1) Marketing communication through social media instagram in the digital age is an effective way of being able to attract visitors (2) The obstacle faced by the instagram account admin @cikadongdong_rivertubing is the lack of public interest in reading (3) The effort made by the instagram account admin @cikadongdong_rivetubing in dealing with obstacles is to clarify the caption with an interesting photo upload.

Abstract

Mental health is a significant thing for life, as a primary component of mental and physical health like both sides of a coin that complement each other. If our souls experience mental health disorders (mental illness), it will affect the physical and vice versa. If it is disturbed, all the things we do will hamper, one of which is communicating with other people. This study aims to identify mental health disorders (mental illness) using therapeutic communication conducted by a psychiatrist. Research on mental health (mental illness) problems begins with knowing therapeutic communication therapy conducted by psychiatrists with patients, revealing the therapeutic communication phases, and developing a rapport when conducting therapeutic communication for patient recovery. The research uses a qualitative method in which data collection is done by interviews, observations, documentation, and literacy studies to dig deeper into existing problems. As the object of this research is a psychiatrist who has work experience to cure mental health (mental illness) in RSUD Waled Kabupaten Cirebon. In this research, it is was found that therapeutic communication is essential in the relationship phase when treatment is taking place. The type of treatment for each type of mental disorder is different. The treatment is needed to develop rapport at each meeting because it is very influential and eliminates all factors, such as insight and community stigma. Therapeutic communication is carried out through four phases: the pre-action phase, the introduction/orientation phase, the work phase, and the termination phase. Even though the same treatment phase, but the way of treatment in each type of mental disorder is different and rapport is very supportive of recovery in a psychiatrist's treatment.

Abstract

Sudut Hijau merupakan kegiatan bercocok tanam baik berupa sayur, buah dan bunga dengan memanfaatkan halaman atau pekarangan rumah. Perumahan di Desa Cikulak memiliki kondisi yang sangat padat sehingga dibutuhkan sudut hijau sebagai pemanfaatan lahan sempit. Kelompok KKN-T 69 memiliki tujuan untuk mengedukasi masyarakat dalam menjaga kelestarian lingkungan melalui Sudut Hijau. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan adanya pendampingan, penyuluhan, dan demonstrasi yang dilakukan terhadap warga Desa Cikulak, Kecamatan Waled, Jawa Barat, khususnya kepada masyarakat yang berada di dusun 2. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah masyarakat dapat menerapkan sudut hijau beserta manfaatnya untuk pelestarian lingkungan padat penduduk melalui penanaman tanaman hias dipekarangan rumah. Melalui program edukasi dan kegiatan sudut hijau, Desa Cikulak diharapkan dapat menjadi contoh sukses dalam membangun kesadaran lingkungan dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam menjaga lingkungan. Selama kegiatan berlangsung masyarakat sangat antusias dan penuh semangat mengikuti semua kegiatan, terutama pada saat demonstrasi di lapangan. Selain itu, kesadaran, partisipasi, dan keterampilan masyarakat Desa Cikulak semakin meningkat dalam menjaga lingkungan melalui kegiatan sudut hijau.

Abstract

Digital technology and the internet have revolutionized the way businesses operate, allowing them to reach a wider range of targets, increase efficiency, and accelerate growth. The beauty industry, including the beauty salon Della Beautybar, relies heavily on advertising to increase visibility and win customers. The purpose of this study was to analyze the persuasive communication applied by Della Beautybar Beauty Salon through digital advertising on Instagram. The conclusion of this study is that the persuasive communication applied by Della Beautybar can influence the customer's decision to place an order. The methodology of this study is the use of a qualitative approach with data technique analysis in the form of observation, interviews and documentation attachments. The sample of this study is the Instagram post of Della Beautybar, the owner of the Beauty Salon and the respondents who were selected purposively. This research was conducted for 2 months. The results of this study show that the persuasive communication and advertising implemented by Della Beautybar are successful in attracting attention and building customer loyalty. This includes engaging visual content, building customer interest with promotions and testimonials, providing superior service through quality, and making decisions with easy access to reservations. The recommendation from this study is that Della Beautybar needs to continue to improve the quality of visuals and information conveyed through Instagram, as well as improve interaction with customers to maintain customer trust and loyalty.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan masyarakat merupakan upaya terstruktur untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan kemandirian melalui pemanfaatan potensi lokal. Desa Pabuaran Kidul memiliki sumber daya pertanian jagung yang melimpah, namun pemanfaatannya masih terbatas. Melalui program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Tematik, dilakukan inovasi pengolahan jagung menjadi produk puding jagung guna memberi nilai tambah dan peluang peningkatan ekonomi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan partisipatif untuk memahami kondisi ekonomi, sosial, pendidikan, dan lingkungan masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa inovasi puding jagung diterima baik oleh masyarakat serta memiliki potensi pemasaran di tingkat lokal. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa pengembangan produk olahan berbasis potensi lokal dapat menjadi langkah awal dalam meningkatkan kemandirian ekonomi dan sosial masyarakat.

Abstract

Background, Advances in digital technology have given rise to various forms of digital crime. One such crime is the case of cross-border online fraud in Asia, which has been made into a movie titled “No More Bets.”. Aim, This study was conducted to examine gender representation in films and the semiotic signs that shape gender meaning in narratives of digital crime. Methods, This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity is tested through triangulation of methods. Results, The results of the study show that gender representation in films still reproduces gender power relations, as it continues to place women in a position that is unequal to men, with male characters being portrayed as dominant and female characters as vulnerable. Signs form gender meaning based on John Fiske's semiotics, at the level of reality, the level of representation, and the level of ideology. These three levels are interrelated in shaping the meaning of male and female roles in the digital crime system. This shows that gender meaning does not appear suddenly, but is constructed through visual signs, narratives, and ideologies present in films. Conclusions, Thus, the film “No More Bets” tends to reproduce the representation of men as the dominant party in the narrative of digital crime. Implication, This study confirms that a semiotic approach to examining gender representation on digital platforms is relevant and that gender sensitivity is necessary in the film industry to prevent the reproduction of gender stereotypes.

Abstract

Public speaking is one of the most essential communication skills in both social and religious life (Lucas, 2019). Within the context of the boarding school environment, this skill functions not only as a means of conveying ideas, but also as a medium for developing self-confidence, leadership, and the ability to communicate Islamic values effectively (Harvy Ghaufar & Foreza, 2020; Muttaqin et al., 2025). In practice, not all students share the same perceptions of public speaking activities, since perception is influenced by cognitive, emotional, and social factors (OpenStax, 2020; Röhner & Schütz, 2023). This study aims to examine the implementation of public speaking activities at Salman Assalam Islamic boarding school Cirebon, to identify the obstacles encountered during their implementation, and to analyze students’ perceptions of these activities as part of the process of developing communication skills in the boarding school educational setting. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach (Creswell, 2014), as its primary objective is to gain an in-depth understanding of students’ perceptions of public speaking activities at Salman Assalam Islamic boarding school Cirebon. The research data were collected through in-depth interviews and direct observation of students involved in public speaking activities. Data analysis was conducted through three main stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification (Miles & Huberman, 1994). Overall, the findings indicate that public speaking activities at Salman Assalam Islamic boarding school Cirebon serve not only as training for speaking in public, but also as a platform for shaping students’ communicative character through the sensory, cognitive, emotional, and social experiences they undergo (OpenStax, 2020). These four dimensions of perception are interconnected and form a comprehensive understanding of how students evaluate, experience, and respond to the process of communication learning in the boarding school. The success of public speaking activities is strongly influenced by the support of instructors, a conducive learning environment, and students’ reflective experiences at each stage of implementation (Aziz et al., 2020; Röhner & Schütz, 2023). In general, public speaking activities play a significant role in fostering self-confidence, communication skills, and students’ character in accordance with the educational values upheld by Salman Assalam Islamic Boarding School Cirebon.
