Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to describe  the ability of students to solve HOTS questions on acid-base material and what factors influence students in solving HOTS questions on acid-base material. The form of research uses descriptive research. The research sample was FKIP Tanjungpura University. Chemistry education students in the 6th semester were 58 students. The ability of chemistry education students to solve hots questions was measured using essay written tests, and unstructured interviews. The research instrument was validated using the Gregory test matrix. The results showed that the ability of chemistry education students to solve hots was classified as moderate. This are indicated by the moderate percentage of the indicator at 69.2%. This proves the ability of chemistry education for each indicator are high. Factors affecting the ability of students are the lack of understanding the Bronsted-Lowry concept, not understanding the formula of vinegar acid levels and the difficulty in describing the strong acid and strong base titration curves.Keywords: The Ability, High Order Thinking Skill, Acid-Base Material

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of data mining algorithms in heart failure disease classification. Various algorithms, including Random Forest, Decision Tree C4.5, Gradient Boosted Machine (GBM), and XGBoost, were applied to a heart failure dataset. The dataset was collected from multiple sources and preprocessed to address imbalances using the SMOTE (Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique) technique. The results indicate that employing SMOTE and parameter optimization through grid search significantly enhances the performance of these algorithms. XGBoost and GBM demonstrated superior accuracy, precision, and recall in both balanced and imbalanced data scenarios. In balanced data scenarios, XGBoost achieved an accuracy of 98.75% with an error rate of 1.25%, while GBM achieved an accuracy of 98.60% with an error rate of 1.40%. The study confirms that appropriate data preprocessing and parameter optimization are crucial for improving the accuracy of medical data analysis. These findings suggest that XGBoost and GBM are highly effective for heart disease prediction, supporting early diagnosis and timely medical intervention. Future research should explore alternative preprocessing techniques and additional algorithms to further improve prediction outcomes.

Abstract

Pada era digitalisai saat ini sudah canggih dan memiliki kemajuan pada sisi teknologi dan pola pikir manusia yang juga berkembang maju. Hal ini juga merambat pada bidang usaha yang menciptakan persaingan yang sangat ketat, para kompetitor berlomba memberikan produk terbaik untuk bisa berhasil dalam bidang usaha. Kamar dagang industri atau biasa kita kenal dengan nama KADIN merupakan sebuah organisasi bidang usaha yang di dalamnya terdapat Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM). UMKM masih menjadi alternatif penggerak perekonomian yang cukup efektif menghasilkan produk atau jasa yang menjadi kebutuhan masayarakat. Promosi dan pemasaran merupakan masalah yang masih menjadi perkerjaan rumah oleh UMKM, upaya pemasaran produk kepada konsumen, akan menjadi suatu hal yang sia-sia jika produk yang dihasilkan bagus namun tidak ada konsumen yang membeli dikarekan kurangnya pengetahuan dan informasi prodak yang dipasarkan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk mempermudah para penggiat UMKM untuk mempromosikan dan memasarkan produk-produk yang mereka produksi pada suatu media online. Sistem ini sepenuhnya akan dibuat dengan menggunakan framework codeigniter dengan konsep model, view,controler (mvc), framework ini dikombisnasikan dengan bootsrap untuk tampilan dari web dinamis. Hasilnya akan berupa aplikasi berbasis web untuk media promosi dan pemasaran produk yang akan disosialisasikan kepada UMKM cara penggunaannya untuk membantu UMKM tersebut.

Abstract

Examination is a form of evaluation of the learning process to measure the achievement of student intelligence in schools. The implementation of conventional exams that are often carried out by schools has the potential for fraud both from students who cheat during the exam or leak exam questions before the exam takes place and also the operational costs that must be incurred by schools to duplicate questions and coupled with teachers needing additional time to check student exam results. In addition to being carried out in writing or orally, exams can also be carried out using computer aids. With the help of this study, teachers will be able to create questions without worrying that they will be leaked to students before the test and share them with other educators teaching the same subject. Students should be able to receive exam results right away after the test is over, and teachers won't have to worry about checking the results because they will be sent to them automatically. For schools, the costs incurred for paper can be reduced with this online exam system. The results of this research are in the form of a web-based application with the concept of client server using the help of a framework that already supports the model, view and controller system. This application has users, where there are several users with differentiators in the form of access rights.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to integrate artificial intelligence with Studio D-ID in the development of interactive learning media to improve the quality of education at Ngabang District. The PKM activities are carried out at Ngabang District, West Kalimantan. The method used in this program is a workshop that involves teachers in understanding and applying Studio D-ID technology to create interactive multimedia content. The expected outcome of this activity is to provide teachers with a deep understanding of optimizing technology in the learning process and to enhance the interactivity of the learning media produced. The integration of artificial intelligence with Studio D-ID can increase interactivity in learning, encourage teacher creativity, and optimize the use of technology in the classroom, thereby providing a more engaging and relevant learning experience for students.

Abstract

Penerapan penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila dapat meningkat kemampuan siswa secara mandiri dengan membuka pengetahuan, mengenali nilai moral dan karakter dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan sosialisasi dalam menyampaikan pesan tentang P5. Jenis Penelitian adalah penelitian kualitatif, menggunakan studi pustaka. Teknik penelitian menggunakan observasi tidak terstruktur. Empat pilar dapat membentuk strategi internal sekolah adalah kegiatan keseharian yaitu budaya sekolah, intrakurikuler, kokurikuler dan ekstrakurikuler. Desain pesan dalam profil pelajar pancasila (P5) dapat menjadi alat yang efektif untuk menumbuhkan karakter pada siswa menciptakan budaya sekolah yang mendukung nilai pancasila dan pelatihan bagi guru untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan dalam mengimplementasikan desain pesan P5.
