Abstract

AI for cattle has been develop in Indonesia in contrast, AI for small ruminants (sheep and goat) are less developed. Its due to the lack of facilities, processing and packaging during storage. This research aims to compare the effectivity and efficiency of two different packaging technique (test tube and straw). Test tube and 0.25 ml mini straw were tested . Semen was obtained from adult PE buck (3 yr) after collection by using  artificial vagina. The fresh semen was then evaluated and diluted 5 folds with 2.9 percent Na-citrate. Diluted semen then packed in test tube and mini straw, and stored in refrigerator (100C) for 7 days. Observations were done everyday on sperm motility, abnormality and percentage of  live sperm. Observation were made at 370C. Observation on fresh ejaculate showed that semen has 6x 109/ml concentration, 90 percent motility, 8 percent abnormality and  95 percent  live sperm. Five folds dilution reduced sperm concentration to 1.2 x 109/ml, but did not change sperm motility, abnormality and percent of live sperm. Sperm was then packed according  to the treatments. Storage in both packaging did significantly reduce  (P<0.01) sperm motility and percent live sperm, but not for sperm abnormality. All sperm stored in test tube were classified death at day 5 storage. However, sperm in the straw were remain live eventhough the percentages was low. It can be concluded that straw has a better result than test tube. Eventhough sperm motility was extremely low, it remains valuable for cervical insemination. Abstract

The existence of human resources determines the effectiveness of achieving the goals of Islamic boarding schools. It is necessary to develop human resources to improve the quality and quantity. The programs designed must be able to cover the increase in the quality and quantity of human resources at Islamic boarding schools. Human resource development must be carried out systematically to achieve effective development goals. This research method uses qualitative research methods with a literature review approach. The research stages were carried out starting from article collection, article reduction, article display, discussion, and conclusion. Based on the results of this study, a Human Resource Development strategy was found in Islamic boarding schools, namely training is held every month and all workers are required to take part in the training and teacher strategies in improving the quality of students, namely general coaching by providing opportunities to participate in helping to establish training cottages to improve the quality of welfare that exists at the Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of competence and work environment simultaneously on the quality of employee services at the Sabang City Port Authority Office. The type of research in this study is survey research, the research design used in this study is a correlational design to draw the influence between the independent variable (X) and the dependent variable (Y). The population in this study were all employees of the Sabang City Port Authority and Port Authority Office totaling 39 people, as well as being used as research samples. The results showed that the significance value (Sig) for the Competency variable was 0.628 and the calculated t value was 0.489 < t table (2.028) and the significance value (Sig) for the work environment variable was 0.257 and the calculated t value was -1.152 < t table (2.028). It can be concluded that there is no effect of competence and work environment on the quality of employee services at the Sabang City Port Authority Office

Abstract

This article aims to explore the educational thought of KH. Hasyim Asy’ari and its relevance in shaping a morally upright generation in the modern era. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method through a literature review of Adabul ‘Alim wal Muta’allim as the primary source, supplemented by relevant journals and books. The findings reveal that KH. Hasyim Asy’ari views education as a means of holistic human development encompassing intellect, heart, and action. He emphasizes the significance of manners (adab) and ethics (akhlaq) in the pursuit of knowledge, the integration of religious and secular sciences, and the role of teachers as spiritual educators rather than mere transmitters of knowledge. In the modern context, his educational thought remains highly relevant as a holistic educational model capable of addressing the challenges of globalization and moral decline. The values he promoted have been implemented in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) and formal Islamic educational institutions, particularly through the integration of the national curriculum with pesantren-based character education. Therefore, his ideas serve as an inspiration for the development of an intellectually excellent and spiritually dignified Islamic education system in Indonesia.. ABSTRAKArtikel ini bertujuan untuk mengulas pemikiran pendidikan Islam perspektif KH. Hasyim Asy’ari dan relevansinya dalam membentuk generasi berakhlak di era modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif melalui studi kepustakaan terhadap kitab Adabul ‘Alim wal Muta’allim sebagai sumber utama, serta literatur-literatur pendukung dari jurnal dan buku terkait. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa KH. Hasyim Asy’ari memandang pendidikan sebagai sarana pembentukan manusia seutuhnya yang mencakup aspek akal, hati, dan amal. Ia menekankan pentingnya adab dan akhlak dalam proses menuntut ilmu, integrasi antara ilmu agama dan umum, serta peran guru sebagai pendidik spiritual, bukan sekadar pengajar. Dalam konteks modern, pemikiran KH. Hasyim Asy’ari tetap relevan sebagai model pendidikan holistik yang mampu menjawab tantangan globalisasi dan krisis moral. Nilai-nilai yang beliau gagas telah diimplementasikan dalam sistem pesantren dan lembaga pendidikan Islam formal, khususnya melalui integrasi kurikulum nasional dengan pendidikan karakter berbasis pesantren. Dengan demikian, pemikiran beliau dapat dijadikan inspirasi dalam pengembangan sistem pendidikan Islam Indonesia yang unggul secara intelektual dan bermartabat secara spiritual.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter menjadi fokus penting dalam dunia pendidikan Indonesia sebagai respons terhadap krisis moral generasi muda. Pemikiran Imam Al-Ghazali, seorang tokoh besar dalam tradisi intelektual Islam, kembali relevan untuk dikaji karena menekankan pendidikan sebagai proses penyucian jiwa dan pembentukan akhlak. Penelitian ini bertujuan menggali kontribusi pemikiran Al-Ghazali terhadap pengembangan pendidikan karakter di Indonesia, dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi kepustakaan. Sumber utama berasal dari karya-karya Al-Ghazali, khususnya Ihya’ ‘Ulum al-Din, serta literatur pendukung lainnya. Analisis dilakukan secara tematik untuk mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai kunci dalam pemikirannya dan mengaitkannya dengan prinsip pendidikan karakter nasional. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai seperti kejujuran, tanggung jawab, kesabaran, dan kebijaksanaan yang ditekankan Al-Ghazali selaras dengan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, pemikirannya memiliki potensi besar untuk diintegrasikan dalam sistem pendidikan nasional guna memperkuat pembentukan karakter peserta didik secara holistik.

Abstract

The present study investigates the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in developing English language teaching materials by two English teachers at SMP IT Mantab in Sabak Auh, Siak Sri Indrapura. Using a qualitative case study method, the research highlights the teachers’ perceptions, the types of AI tools used, and their strategies for adapting AI-generated content for classroom use. The findings reveal that teachers used AI tools such as ChatGPT, QuillBot, and Canva to enhance the relevance, accuracy, and creativity of th eir instructional materials. While the tools facilitated content generation and lesson planning, challenges remained in evaluating AI-generated material and ensuring its alignment with curriculum goals. This study provides valuable insights into AI integration at the classroom level, with implications for educators, school leadership, and future research.
