Abstract

Indonesian government agencies under the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources still use manual methods in determining and selecting proposals for operational activities to be carried out. This study uses the Decision Support System (DSS) method, namely Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Decision (Fmadm) and K-Means Clustering method in managing Operational Plan activities. Fmadm to select the best alternative from a number of alternatives, alternatives from this study proposed activity proposals, then ranking to determine the optimal alternative. The K-Means Clustering Method to obtain cluster values for alternatives on the criteria for activity dates, types of activities, and activity ceilings. The last iteration of the Euclidian distance calculation data on k-means shows that alternatives that have the smallest centroid value are important proposal criteria and the largest centroid value is an insignificant proposal criteria. The results of the collaboration of the Fmadm and K-Means Clustering methods show the optimal ranking of activities (proposal activities) and the centroid value of each alternative.

Abstract

Indonesian government agencies under the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources have problems in classifying data dictionary of coal. This research conduct grouping coal dictionary using K-Means and MeanShift algorithm. K-means algorithm is used to get cluster value on character and word criteria. The last iteration of Euclidian distance calculation data on k-means combine with Meanshift algorithm. The meanshift calculates centroid by selecting different bandwidths. The result of grouping using k-means and meanshift algorithm shows different centroid to find optimum bandwidth value. The data dictionary of this research has sorted in alphabetically.

Abstract

The research and development center for mineral and coal technology or abbreviated as Puslitbang tekMIRA is located in Bandung, West Java, which has asset management, namely the rental of rooms or buildings. In asset management, there is a complaint page if a customer has a complaint. Based on the complaint data that came in at the same time, the authors saw that there were problems that were considered to need attention, namely which complaints would be resolved first and whether or not the complaint was feasible or not to be processed. This study uses the DSS (Decision Support System) method, namely Multi Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) and IRR (Internal Rate of Return). The MAUT method is a method that converts some importance into a numerical value from a scale of 0-1 which represents the worst and best values ​​and the final result is a ranking. While the IRR method is an indicator of the efficiency level of an investment that is used to provide an overview of whether the complaint is feasible or not to be followed up. The result of the application of this method is the feasibility of the complaint.

Abstract

Community service activities that will be carried out at SMAN 3 Parepare are community service activities that will be carried out based on problems in partner schools, namely in the teaching and learning process where teachers provide material and assignments by explaining directly to students without any media and learning technology. A learning process like this can reduce student enthusiasm for learning, so learning objectives cannot be adequately achieved. The purpose of this service activity is to provide an introduction and training to teachers and students regarding Google Workspace for Education, which has advantages such as having virtual classes, online absences, implementing online video streaming/face-to-face learning, being able to assess student assignments directly, availability of facilities which can assist students and teachers in terms of uploading and downloading lesson materials and projects, providing discussion forum facilities, as a simple and flexible tool to increase the effectiveness of collaboration between teachers and students and as a comprehensive solution in the use of technology for teachers to be able to develop professionally, work efficiently, teaching interactively by utilizing Google Workspace for Education for learning, and being able to increase student learning enthusiasm to encourage academic integrity to support active, innovative and creative learning.

Abstract

Information and communication technology is necessary for every government and private agency. As one of the government agencies, Lapadde Village, Parepare City, requires knowledge and communication technology to compile activity programs. From these problems, Lapadde Village staff need a solution that can help in compiling a reasonable, timely, quality program of activities according to the budget that has been provided. The method used to solve this problem is MS Project Application Training. MS application. Project is one of the software that can be used to manage scheduling, budget, and resources in an activity plan. The training activities are carried out in several stages, namely, presentation of Project Management and MS Project materials, problem analysis according to the case studies determined by the participants, and MS Project implementation in case studies equipped with training modules. This training results in participants knowing the MS Project application, its features, and how to implement it in the activity program.

Abstract

Information technology continues to develop rapidly and can be used to make human work more accessible. In the world of education, students are expected to be able to adapt to the environment and create positive things using technology. Technology can be used in the world of education to support the development of student knowledge. Learning media is one of the factors that play an essential role in the teaching and learning process and knowledge development. The learning media used by the Showatul Is'Ad Islamic Boarding School teachers is textbooks that contain theories that cause students to get bored and not understand abstract material. Therefore, in the research, training was carried out in creating interactive and applicable learning media using the Assemblr Edu Augmented Reality Platform. Developing learning materials using AR can help students easily understand abstract theories by providing virtual, 3D materials and implementing them in the real world. The result of this activity is that the teacher has created learning media material for science subjects that explains body organs, making it easier for students to understand the actual representation of organs and their functions in 3D visual form.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian yang akan dilaksanakan di UPTD SD 62 Parepare merupakan kegiatan pengabdian yang akan dilaksanakan berdasar dari masalah yang ada di UPTD SD 62 Parepare yaitu dalam Dalam proses pembelajaran, guru menggunakan aplikasi power point sebagai media untuk menyampaikan materi, belum ada pengembangan sumber daya dalam pembelajaran dengan memberikan pelatihan desain pembuatan media pembelajaran interaktif. Ternyata dengan hal tersebut dapat menurunkan semangat belajar siswa sehingga tujuan pembelajaran tidak tercapai dengan baik. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan desain pembuatan media pembelajaran interaktif di UPTD SD 62 Parepare dengan Class Point AI sehingga nantinya guru dapat membuat media pembelajaran  dengan pemanfaatan teknologi AI sebagai solusi yang komprehensif untuk guru mampu berkembang secara professional, mampu meningkatkan efektifitas siswa, bekerja secara efisien, mengajar secara interaktif dengan pemanfaatan Class Point AI  sehingga mendorong integritas akademik untuk mendukung pembelajaran yang aktif, kreatif dan inovatif. Luaran Kegiatan PKM akan di publikasikan pada Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat.

Abstract

AbstractPurpose: This study aims to explore the application of the discrete Hilbert transform (DHT) in measuring asset return risk within a portfolio, emphasizing its potential for enhancing risk evaluation in the field of financial mathematics.Methodology/approach: The research utilized a quantitative approach with data sourced from publicly available historical stock prices. Analysis was conducted using software MATLAB to implement the discrete Hilbert transform, which transforms time-series data into phase and amplitude components. The portfolio risk was calculated based on the transformed data, and the results were compared against traditional risk metrics such as variance and Value at Risk (VaR).Results/findings: The findings indicate that the discrete Hilbert transform provides additional insights into portfolio risk by capturing frequency-domain characteristics of asset returns. It complements traditional measures, offering a novel perspective on risk analysis. Specifically, the discrete Hilbert transform was effective in identifying subtle changes in risk patterns that were not apparent in time-domain analyses alone.Conclusion: This study investigates the application of the discrete Hilbert transform (DHT) in measuring the risk of asset returns within investment portfolios, specifically focusing on Indonesian stocks. TheLimitations: This study is limited by its focus on a small sample of stocks within a single financial market, which may restrict the generalizability of the findings. Additionally, the research does not account for macroeconomic factors that could influence asset returns.Contribution: This study contributes to the field of financial risk management by introducing the discrete Hilbert transform as a supplementary tool for risk analysis. It offers practical implications for portfolio managers, actuaries, and financial analysts seeking innovative methods to enhance risk assessment and decision-making processes.
