Abstract

Setiap guru dituntut untuk mampu menumbuhkan kemauan siswa untuk belajar. Media pembelajaran dan lembar kerja siswa merupakan perangkat penting dalam pembelajaran yang digunakan untuk menstimulasi siswa agar dapat merealisasi pengetahuannya serta memudahkan guru untuk mengetahui penguasaan siswa terhadap suatu pokok bahasan tertentu dalam materi yang diajarkan. Oleh karena itu, setiap guru sedapat mungkin mampu merancang media pembelajaran dan lembar kerja yang memenuhi kedua tujuan yang disebutkan sebelumnya. Canva merupakan salah satu perangkat lunak (software) yang memiliki beragam template yang mudah digunakan dan diaplikasikan dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran dan lembar kerja siswa. Pada kegiatan pengabdian ini, pelaksana kegiatan mendampingi para guru TK Al-Azizi dalam pembuatan akun software Canva sebagai langkah awal merancang media pembelajaran dan lembar kerja matematika yang menarik dan aplikatif yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam proses pembelajaran siswa TK.

Abstract

AbstractPurpose: This study aims to explore the application of the discrete Hilbert transform (DHT) in measuring asset return risk within a portfolio, emphasizing its potential for enhancing risk evaluation in the field of financial mathematics.Methodology/approach: The research utilized a quantitative approach with data sourced from publicly available historical stock prices. Analysis was conducted using software MATLAB to implement the discrete Hilbert transform, which transforms time-series data into phase and amplitude components. The portfolio risk was calculated based on the transformed data, and the results were compared against traditional risk metrics such as variance and Value at Risk (VaR).Results/findings: The findings indicate that the discrete Hilbert transform provides additional insights into portfolio risk by capturing frequency-domain characteristics of asset returns. It complements traditional measures, offering a novel perspective on risk analysis. Specifically, the discrete Hilbert transform was effective in identifying subtle changes in risk patterns that were not apparent in time-domain analyses alone.Conclusion: This study investigates the application of the discrete Hilbert transform (DHT) in measuring the risk of asset returns within investment portfolios, specifically focusing on Indonesian stocks. TheLimitations: This study is limited by its focus on a small sample of stocks within a single financial market, which may restrict the generalizability of the findings. Additionally, the research does not account for macroeconomic factors that could influence asset returns.Contribution: This study contributes to the field of financial risk management by introducing the discrete Hilbert transform as a supplementary tool for risk analysis. It offers practical implications for portfolio managers, actuaries, and financial analysts seeking innovative methods to enhance risk assessment and decision-making processes.

Abstract

Guru adalah stakeholder yang berperan penting dalam pendidikan dan pembentukan karakter generasi selanjutnya. Perkembangan teknologi sangat melesat di era 4.0 merupakan kemajuan sekaligus tuntutan bagi guru untuk mengintegrasikan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam pengembangan proses instruksional, pedagogis, dan kurikulum untuk solusi inovatif dalam pembelajaran. Selain itu, guru berkewajiban meningkatkan dan mengembangkan kompetensi yang dimiliki termasuk dalam pembuatan bahan ajar. Tak terkecuali dengan guru taman kanak-kanak yang bertugas mendidik anak usia dini dengan cara menyenangkan. Salah satu aplikasi yang dapat dipakai dalam membantu guru dalam membuat bahan ajar adalah Canva. Aplikasi Canva menyajikan berbagai fitur dalam pembuatan design termasuk worksheet. Tim Pengabdian masyarakat Prodi Matematika Institut Teknologi Bacharuddin Jusuh Habibie mengadakan pelatihan kepada guru Taman Kanak-Kanak Al Azizi Parepare tentang pembuatan worksheet dengan aplikasi Canva. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan renspon yang positif oleh peserta pelatihan. Para peserta merasakan kebermanfaatan dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru, khususnya dalam pembuatan worksheet untuk siswa TK, serta diharapkan kegiatan pengabdian dapat dilanjutkan.

Abstract

The agricultural sector faces major risks due to extreme climate change, market uncertainty and economic fluctuations, which can destabilize global food production. Agricultural insurance, despite its importance as a risk mitigation tool for farmers, still has limited article reviews compared to other insurance sectors such as health, life, and property. This study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of global research on agricultural insurance over the past two decades, focusing on publication trends, the most influential countries and journals, keyword analysis, and providing directions for future research. The study used data from Scopus with a total of 643 documents. Analysis was conducted using VOS viewer, RStudio, and Tableau to visualize collaboration patterns, dominant keywords, and global publication trends. The analysis shows a significant increase in the number of studies on agricultural insurance, which reinforces the urgency of insurance in supporting global food stability. The implications of this research point to the need to develop insurance models that are technology-based and more adaptive to climate change, especially to expand access for smallholder farmers in developing countries. Recommendations for future research are to strengthen cross-sector collaboration and technological innovation to support the sustainability and resilience of the agricultural sector in the future.

Abstract

The sustainability of defined benefit pension plans relies heavily on effective funding strategies. This study aims to develop an optimized funding strategy for Defined Benefit Pension Plans by integrating the Entry Age Normal (EAN) method with the Single Salary Approach (SSA). The Entry Age Normal method provides a systematic way to distribute the cost of pension benefits over the career of employees, ensuring long-term stability. Meanwhile, the Single Salary Approach simplifies salary projections, making it easier to manage fund contributions while accounting for future wage inflation. To evaluate the effectiveness of this integrated approach, we conducted a case study using salary and pension fund data collected from internal records at Institut Teknologi Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie (ITH), a higher education institution. Through a series of simulations and sensitivity analyses, we demonstrate that integrating these methods not only minimizes funding volatility but also improves the accuracy of pension liabilities estimation. For instance, at age 25.83, the actuarial liability is Rp 38,929,501, reflecting a relatively low liability at a younger age. As employees approach retirement, the liability increases significantly. At age 47.17, the liability reaches Rp 191,823,284, demonstrating the impact of salary growth and length of service on future benefits. Additionally, for the same age of 25.83, the actuarial liability under SSA-EAN is Rp 37,980,001, which is slightly lower than the EAN estimate. Pension benefits projected under SSA-EAN are also slightly lower than those under EAN, indicating potential cost savings. The findings provide a viable framework for pension plan administrators seeking to achieve both financial sustainability and predictability in managing pension obligations. By integrating SSA with EAN, this study offers a practical solution that addresses key challenges in the actuarial valuation of defined benefit plans, ensuring more stable and predictable pension funding.

Abstract

This work presents convolution and correlation in offset coupled fractional Fourier transform. The offset coupled fractional Fourier transform can be regarded as a generalized version of the coupled fractional Fourier transform. Various properties including this work like inversion formula and Parseval are studied in general and in detail for the offset coupled fractional Fourier transform. In addition, the relationship with two-dimensional Fourier transform and the offset coupled fractional Fourier transform.

Abstract

In this article, we evaluate the post-labor compensation program based on PSAK-24 in the new normal era of the COVID-19 pandemic. In order to create a table multiple decrements based on a single table decrement namely, death, withdrawal, total permanent disability, and retirement. In the new normal era of the COVID-19 pandemic, the benefits of death, death caused by COVID-19, withdrawal, total permanent disability, and retirement were then aggregated. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with a case study approach of COVID-19. The data used is secondary data on the number of COVID-19 positive cases in Indonesia from January 2021 to December 2022. In this study, an actuarial model, the Multiple Decrement Model, was applied to calculate the valuation of the post-labor compensation program based on PSAK-24 using five decrements as the cause of claims consisting of death, death cause of COVID-19, withdrawal, total permanent disability and retirement. The calculation results that can be seen that large annual net premiums multiple decrement cases that provide benefits according to the cause of failure getting bigger as that person gets older.

The offset fractional Fourier transform is introduced, related theorems and essential properties are collected. Some examples are presented to illustrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed method.
