Abstract

This research was design to know the effect of learning model multimedia-based toward the students’ English ablility at senior high school of Kolaka Regency. The question of the research was “Is there an effect of learning model multimedia-based toward the students’ English ablility at senior high school of Kolaka Regency? The objective of the research was to find out the data whether the learning model multimedia-based has an effect toward the students’ English ablility at senior high school of Kolaka Regency. The significant of the research was expected the model can be used as reference learning model to improve the students’ English ablility. The design of the research was pre-experimental design. The research was conducted at the first-class students of Senior High School 1 Wundulako in Kolaka District. The data were collected by using English test which given at the pre-test and the post-test. In analysed the students’ test result, which the mean score of pre-test was 33,8806 and the mean score of post-test was 69,4058, while the t-table 18,55>2,042 t-test. Its mean that the learning model multimedia-based has an effect toward the students’ English ablility. Refering to the findings and discussions of the research, it can be concluded that the learning model multimedia-based has an effect toward the students’ English ablility at senior high school of Kolaka Regency. It was based on the mean score in pre-test and post-test.Based on the conclusion of the research, the researcher suggests to the teacher, especially English teacher in Kolaka Regency to use learning model multimedia-based in teaching and learning process to improve the students’ English ability.

Abstract

Kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) yang dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa Universitas Hasanuddin di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas 1 Makassar bertujuan untuk membangun kepercayaan diri warga binaan melalui pelatihan public speaking, kelas journaling, dan lomba merdeka. Program ini dirancang untuk mengatasi masalah keterampilan komunikasi dan tekanan emosional yang sering dialami oleh narapidana. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pelatihan langsung, diskusi reflektif, serta penyediaan materi edukatif terkait kesehatan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan berbicara di depan umum dan pengelolaan emosi peserta. Selain itu, penyediaan alat kebersihan dan poster edukatif juga berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya kesehatan dan kebersihan di lingkungan lapas. Secara keseluruhan, program ini tidak hanya memberikan manfaat bagi warga binaan tetapi juga memperkaya pengalaman belajar bagi mahasiswa, menjadikan KKN sebagai sarana untuk mendukung rehabilitasi dan reintegrasi sosial narapidana.

Abstract

Pembelajaran numerasi dan literasi merupakan aspek penting dalam pendidikan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam matematika. Salah satu implementasi kegiatan numerasi dilakukan pada program Kampus Mengajar di SD Negeri 1 Puuroda. Metode yang digunakan dalam program ini meliputi jaritmatika, pohon numerasi, mading numerasi, pembiasaan mengingat perkalian, dan pembuatan media pembelajaran numerasi. Hasil dari implementasi ini menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam keterampilan berhitung siswa dan minat mereka terhadap matematika. Pengabdian ini memberikan gambaran yang jelas tentang efektivitas metode-metode pembelajaran numerasi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan siswa. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan yang inovatif dan interaktif, siswa dapat lebih mudah memahami konsep-konsep matematika dan mengembangkan keterampilan berhitung mereka. Selain itu, metode-metode tersebut juga mampu meningkatkan minat siswa terhadap matematika, sehingga pembelajaran menjadi lebih menyenangkan dan efektif. Hasil pengabdian ini memberikan kontribusi yang berharga dalam pengembangan pendidikan matematika di tingkat dasar. Dengan menerapkan metode-metode pembelajaran numerasi yang efektif, sekolah dapat membantu siswa dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berhitung mereka sejak dini. Hal ini akan memberikan pondasi yang kuat bagi kemampuan matematika siswa di masa depan dan membantu mereka dalam menghadapi tantangan matematika yang lebih kompleks. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran numerasi dan literasi memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan matematika. Melalui implementasi metode-metode pembelajaran yang inovatif dan interaktif, siswa dapat lebih mudah menguasai konsep-konsep matematika dan meningkatkan keterampilan berhitung mereka. Dengan demikian, pendidikan matematika dapat menjadi lebih efektif dan menyenangkan bagi siswa, sehingga mereka dapat mencapai potensi maksimal dalam bidang ini.

Abstract

The use of Artificial Intelligence (KB) has experienced rapid development in various fields, including education and learning. This article discusses artificial intelligence-assisted language learning strategies. The main objective of this strategy is to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the language learning process by utilizing family planning technology. This article outlines various approaches that can be used in the implementation of KB-assisted learning strategies, including automated text analysis, personalized learning, adaptive feedback, language error detection, and automatic translation. The advantages and challenges of each approach are discussed in depth, as well as their potential impact on language learning outcomes. This study adopts a literature analysis approach to investigate language learning strategies assisted by artificial intelligence. The steps taken in this study include the identification and collection of relevant literature sources, as well as critical analysis of the information found. By combining the advantages of family planning technology with the principles of language learning, it is hoped that this strategy can pave the way to a more interactive, adaptive, and efficient learning experience

Abstract

Mekongga language is a regional language that plays an important role in preserving cultural and historical values ​​for the Kolaka community in Southeast Sulawesi. However, the influence of urbanization and modernization that are developing very rapidly threaten the sustainability of this language. This study aims to provide an overview of the use of technology in learning the Mekongga language in Kolaka and identify appropriate strategies to improve the effectiveness of learning in the digital era. This study uses a qualitative approach, through literature study methods, observations, in-depth interviews, and case studies. The results of the study indicate that the use of language learning technology and e-learning platforms has increased students' motivation in learning the Mekongga language and provided wider access to learning materials, as well as providing creative and innovative learning resources. Collaboration between teachers and technology developers also plays an important role in creating appropriate and useful materials. However, researchers found several obstacles, including technical issues and limited access to technological devices and networks. Ultimately, technology plays a major role in supporting the learning and preservation of the Mekongga language in Kolaka. By using the right strategy and the support of adequate facilities and infrastructure, technology will be an effective medium in maintaining and preserving the Mekongga language in the digital era.

Abstract

As the educational landscape endures continuous change, artificial intelligence (AI) has presented unprecedented opportunities to revolutionize instructional methods. Among these cutting-edge AI technologies, Generative AI has emerged as a promising instrument with the potential to empower educators and students through innovative instructional strategies. This article aims to investigate the various applications of Generative AI in education and cast light on its role in shaping the future of education. The objectives of this study are twofold: first, to investigate the various instructional strategies that can be enhanced by employing Generative AI, and second, to assess the potential impact of these strategies on student learning outcomes. To accomplish these goals, a comprehensive literature review was conducted analyzing existing studies and applications of Generative AI in educational settings. The results and discussions emphasize the numerous educational benefits of Generative AI. Educators can personalize learning experiences, create interactive content, and facilitate adaptive assessments by leveraging the capabilities of Generative AI. This individualized strategy has the potential to boost learner engagement and knowledge retention. However, despite the numerous advantages, ethical concerns and difficulties arise. The responsible incorporation of Generative AI in education requires addressing issues such as data privacy, algorithmic bias, and the educator's role in directing AI-driven learning experiences. The research concludes by emphasizing that Generative AI holds enormous promise for empowering education and transforming instructional practices. The findings highlight the importance of ongoing collaboration between educators, policymakers, and AI developers to ensure the ethical and equitable integration of Generative AI into educational environments. By embracing the potential of Generative AI while remaining vigilant regarding its challenges, the field of education can unlock novel opportunities to nurture an inclusive, adaptive, and learner-centric pedagogical landscape for tomorrow's learners.
