Abstract

Evaluate the effectiveness of consumer protection law in addressing misleading marketing in the food and beverage industry, which often involves inaccurate product information. On the other hand, misleading marketing not only harms consumers economically, but can also have a serious impact on public health. Therefore, the active role of consumers in verifying product information is becoming increasingly important amidst the rise of misleading claims in the food and beverage sector. This research uses a normative juridical method with a statutory and conceptual approach to analyze Law No. 8/1999 on Consumer Protection. This method allows researchers to evaluate existing regulations and understand the concept of consumer protection in the context of misleading marketing. The results show that although regulations are in place, stricter implementation and enforcement are needed to protect consumers from health risks and economic losses due to misleading product information. The research suggests increased supervision by authorities, such as BPOM, as well as better collaboration between the government, businesses, and consumers to create a fairer and more transparent trading environment in the food and beverage sector.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach in geometry learning in secondary schools. Realistic Mathematics Education, which emphasizes mathematics learning through relevant contexts and students' real experiences, aims to improve students' understanding and skills in geometry. This study evaluates the effectiveness of the implementation of RME and identifies various challenges and potential solutions in its implementation. The method used is a literature review that includes studies related to the implementation of RME in geometry learning. The results of the analysis show that RME can improve students' understanding of geometric concepts by linking materials to everyday situations, thereby motivating and involving students more actively in the learning process. This approach helps students link theory to real practice, deepen their understanding, and develop problem-solving skills. There are challenges such as teacher readiness, limited resources, and limited time allocation, recommendations to improve teacher training, develop supportive policies, and provide adequate resources can help overcome these problems. With the right strategy and adequate support, RME has great potential to improve the quality of geometry learning in secondary schools and have a positive impact on student learning outcomes

Abstract

This study highlights the challenges faced by the elderly in the digital era, particularly regarding feelings of marginalization and difficulties in accessing technology. Community-based education that integrates positive psychology approaches can be an effective solution to improve the mental well-being and digital skills of the elderly. A qualitative case study method was employed, involving in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and participatory observations to explore the experiences and perspectives of the elderly participating in this educational program. The findings show improvements in digital skills, self-confidence, emotional well-being, and social connections among the elderly. Participants felt more connected and supported, which positively impacted their mental health. The study recommends active participation of the elderly in program design and the integration of positive psychology elements to ensure the sustainability of such programs in the future.
