Abstract

The utilization of drones technology in infrastructure inspection and maintenance has become an important topic in civil engineering and infrastructure management studies. Adequate infrastructure supports the social and economic progress of a country, but requires regular maintenance to ensure its reliability. This research aims to investigate the effectiveness of utilizing drone technology in performing infrastructure inspection and maintenance, and to evaluate its impact on the efficiency and accuracy of the process. The research method used was a literature study and analysis of data from previous studies relevant to this topic. In addition, the research also involved primary data collection through interviews with experts in the field of drones and infrastructure technology. The results show that the utilization of drones technology can significantly improve the efficiency and accuracy in conducting infrastructure inspection and maintenance. Drones are able to reach areas that are difficult to reach manually and provide detailed and real-time data. The utilization of drone technology is a very potential solution in improving efficiency and accuracy in infrastructure inspection and maintenance. By utilizing drones, the process can be done more quickly, cheaply, and safely, so that it can support sustainable infrastructure development.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the advantages, disadvantages, and ideal picture of superior schools and acceleration programs. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with literature study. The results of the theoretical review present concepts and definitions of excellent schools and acceleration programs. The advantages of excellent schools include a quality learning environment, skilled teachers, and a curriculum focused on critical skills. Disadvantages of excellent schools include high competition and lack of involvement in non-academic aspects. The strengths of accelerated programs are that the academic challenges match the abilities of gifted and bright students. Disadvantages of accelerated programs include social and emotional gaps and a lack of focus on non-academic skills. The ideal picture of excellent schools and accelerated programs includes a balanced approach between academic and non-academic needs, emotional and social support for students, and flexibility in the curriculum. In conjunction with the curriculum reform in Curriculum 2013 (K13), a school policy with an SKS (Satuan Kredit Semester) system was created that emphasizes students' independent and collaborative learning abilities based on Independent Learning Activity Units (UKBM).

Abstract

Gerontology nurses play a vital role in providing care that is holistic and sensitive to the special needs of the elderly population. However, strong interpersonal relationships between nurses and elderly patients are often compromised by a lack of effective communication skills. Therefore, improving communication skills is important to ensure optimal quality of care for this population. This study aims to explore the effect of communication skills training on gerontic nurses in improving interpersonal relationships with elderly patients. The main focus is to assess whether the training can improve the nurse's ability to communicate with patients effectively, thereby strengthening the interpersonal relationship between the two. This research method uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental pretest-posttest design. The research results and data analysis showed a significant increase in the communication skills of gerontic nurses after undergoing training (p <0.05). In addition, there was a substantial improvement in interpersonal relationships between nurses and elderly patients. These results indicate that communication skills training is effective in improving interpersonal relationships in the context of gerontology care. This research concludes that communication skills training plays an important role in improving interpersonal relationships between gerontic nurses and elderly patients. These findings highlight the importance of investing in the development of communication skills for gerontology nurses to improve the quality of care for the ageing population. This research implies that communication skills training should be an integral part of gerontology nurses' training and development programs to ensure that they can provide sensitive and effective care for elderly patients.

Abstract

Background:The implementation of game-based learning is an inclusive learninggame elements into an educational context. These game elements will produce a more dynamic and interesting learning experience. This interesting interactive experience encourages students to become more involved, thereby fostering a strong desire to understand and master the learning material. Research purposes:This research was conducted with the aim of understanding the relationship between the implementation of game-based learning and student motivation and engagement. Apart from that, it also aims to find out the challenges of implementing game-based learning. Method:The method used in this research is a quantitative method. This method is a way of collecting numerical data that can be tested. Data was collected through distributing questionnaires addressed to students. Furthermore, the data that has been collected from the results of distributing the questionnaire will be accessible in Excel format which can then be processed using SPSS. Results:From the research results, it can be seen that game-based learning is something that has become a trend in the world of education.By adapting technology to game-based learning, education can become more relevant and dynamic, and students' diverse learning styles can be accepted. Conclusion:From this research, researchers can conclude that the impact of implementing game-based learning, can encourage students to participate more actively in the learning process. So that student motivation and involvement becomes higher in the learning process.
