This research aims to determine the effectiveness of theeducational video for making the MPASI 4 Star menu on the knowledge, attitudes and skills of parents in preventingstunting in toddlers. The research design used is quantitative, quasi-experimental research using a one group pretestposttest design approach. This research was conducted on parents of toddlers in DKI Jakarta with a sample size of 44respondents. The results showed that there was a significant difference in knowledge before and after the intervention(p value 0.000), there was a significant difference in attitudes before and after the intervention (p value 0.000), therewas a significant difference in skills before and after the intervention (p value 0.000 ). It is hoped that this researchcan be an alternative action in the form of education via video for parents to overcome stunting in toddlers and todevelop care, further research can be carried out regarding interventions to deal with stunting.

Abstract

Stress in older adults needs attention because it can negatively affect physical, emotional, and social well-being, as well as overall quality of life. Elderly individuals living in social welfare institutions are particularly vulnerable to stress due to environmental changes, limited family involvement, loneliness, daily routines, and reduced independence. This study aimed to determine the effect of art painting group activity therapy on stress levels among older adults at Budi Mulia 2 Cengkareng Social Welfare Home. A quantitative pre-experimental study with a one-group pretest-posttest design was conducted involving 33 participants selected through total sampling. Stress levels were measured using the DASS-21 stress subscale. The intervention consisted of four art painting sessions lasting 30–45 minutes each. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The mean stress score decreased from 22.18 before the intervention to 15.94 after the intervention. The Wilcoxon test showed a significant difference (p = 0.000), indicating that art painting group activity therapy effectively reduced stress levels among older adults.

Abstract

Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) remains a major public health problem in Indonesia and requires active community participation in its prevention and control. This community service program aimed to empower larval monitoring cadres (Juru Pemantau Jentik [Jumantik]) by improving their knowledge of dengue, preventive measures, and mosquito larval inspection in residential settings in Sunter Agung Urban Village, Tanjung Priok Subdistrict, North Jakarta. The program consisted of educational sessions on dengue and its prevention, demonstrations of mosquito larval inspection techniques, and knowledge assessments using pre- and post-tests. A total of 21 Jumantik cadres participated in the program. Before the intervention, 47.6% of the participants had moderate knowledge, 28.6% had poor knowledge, and 23.8% had good knowledge. After the intervention, the post-test knowledge score increased to 71.4%. The Wilcoxon signed-rank test showed a statistically significant difference in knowledge scores before and after the intervention (Z = ?3.900, p < .001). These findings indicate that health education combined with demonstrations of mosquito larval inspection techniques was effective in improving the cadres’ knowledge and strengthening their role in community-based dengue prevention. Continuous mentoring and regular larval monitoring are recommended to sustain the cadres’ participation in dengue prevention and control. Keywords: Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever; education; Jumantik cadres; mosquito larvae inspection.
