Abstract

This study aims to describe the characteristics of young perpetrators and victims of bullying asking for money by force (insulting). This research uses a qualitative approach with a qualitative descriptive design. Subjects were 4 (four) adolescents, namely one perpetrator and three victims of bullying forcibly asking for money (insulting) with an age range of 13-17 years. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results showed that the characteristics of young perpetrators and victims of bullying asking for money by force (insulting) are factors that influence young people who do bullying are family, economy, personality, popularity. The factors that influence the behavior of the victims of bullying are personality, namely they do not have the power to resist, are helpless because they are threatened, and do not want something worse to happen. The self-concept of adolescents bullying is showing negativity, that is, they perceive themselves as having power. Meanwhile, the self-concept of youth victims of bullying is negative, that is, they perceive themselves as weak, powerless to refuse the perpetrator's request. The ability to manage emotions among bullies is in the category of not being able to manage emotions, while youth victims of bullying are in the category of being able to manage emotions well. The self-disclosure of teenagers bullying tends to be closed, and youth victims of bullying tend to be closed off.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemahaman diri siswa SMP tentang masa pubertas/baligh sebagai dasar layanan bimbingan dan konseling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan analisis deskriptif. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa SMPN 13 Banjarmasin yang berjumlah 607 siswa dengan menggunakan teknik stratifikasi sampling. Jumlah sampel yang diambil 120 siswa yaitu  kelas VIII dan IX yaitu yang terdiri dari 60 siswa laki-laki dan 60 siswa perempuan yang terdaftar pada tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket. Tehnik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisa persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  pemahaman diri siswa SMP Negeri 13 tentang masa pubertas/baligh  adalah sebagian besar siswa laki-laki dan siswa perempuan sudah baligh pada rentang usia 11 dan 14 tahun, dan merasa biasa saja terhadap perubahan fisik, psikis, dan sosial emosional. Bagi siswa laki-laki pengalaman mimpi basah (baligh) sebagian besar tertutup kepada orangtua, sebaliknya siswa perempuan sangat terbuka terutama kepada ibu. Sebagian besar yang mengajari tatacara mandi wajib kepada siswa laki-laki adalah guru agama, dan bagi  siswa perempuan adalah ibunya. Siswa laki-laki ketika junub lebih banyak tidak mengerjakan mandi wajib, sebaliknya siswa perempuan selalu mengerjakan mandi wajib selesai menstruasi. Berdasarkan temuan hasil penelitian tersebut sebagai dasar pelayanan Bimbingan dan Konseling.__________________________________________________________This study aims to describe the self-understanding of middle school students about puberty / baligh as a basis for counseling and guidance services. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive analysis approach. The study population was all students of SMPN 13 Banjarmasin, totaling 607 students using sampling stratification techniques. The number of samples taken by 120 students is class VIII and IX, which consists of 60 male students and 60 female students enrolled in the 2018/2019 school year. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques use percentage analysis techniques. The results showed that the self-esteem of SMP Negeri 13 students about puberty / baligh was that most male and female students were already high in the ages of 11 and 14 years, and felt normal towards physical, psychological, and social emotional changes. For male students the experience of baligh dreams is mostly closed to parents, whereas female students are very open especially to mothers. Most of those who teach mandatory bathing procedures for male students are religious teachers, and for female students are their mothers. Male students when Junub did not do mandatory bathing, on the other hand female students always did bathing and had to finish menstruation. Based on the findings of the research as a basis for Guidance and Counseling services.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the description of Self-Disclosure and Emotion Regulation of Bullying victims in Junior High School Banjarmasin. This research used qualitative approach with descriptive qualitative design. The subjects are five junior high school students whom become the bullying victims with range of age between 13 – 15 years old. Technique of data collection used observation, interview, and documentation. Technique of data analysis used data reduction, data presentation, conclusion and verification. Validity test used in this research were credibility and verification test. The result of this research showed that Self-Disclosure and Emotion Regulation of Bullying victims in Junior High School 4 were in closed tendency. Emotion regulation of bullying victims consists of: strategies to emotion regulation is a person faith to handle a problem such like stay silent, crying, grumbling, and angry to the bullies. Engaging in goal directed behavior are a person ability to unaffected to negative emotion felt, do not run from the bullying victims problem and choose to focus in study and school. Control emotional responses is a person ability to control the emotion such like stay silent and calming down himself by be alone, punch back and mock the bullies. Acceptance of emotional response is a person ability to accept an event caused negative emotion by showing that bullying victims are capable to limit the impacts of bullying, therefore it will not reach too far their life. They considered as regular thing, not ashamed, surrender, and shy.

Abstract

Kalimantan Selatan ialah provinsi di Indonesia dengan jumlah pernikahan dini tertinggi di Indonesia yaitu 39,53 % dari jumlah pernikahan (bersumber pada TIM CNN Indonesia, 09 Maret 2019). Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan peneliti yang dilakukan di SMP Negeri 13 Banjarbaru di kecamatan Cempaka, 8 siswa  berhenti sekolah karena menikah, siswa broken home sekitar 50%  dari jumlah seluruh siswa 192 orang. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan pernikahan usia dini perlu pemberian layanan informasi. Dengan adanya pengembangan media ini dapat menghasilkan media poster layanan informasi dampak pernikahan dini pada siswa SMP di Banjarbaru yang teruji keberterimaannya dari aspek kegunaan, kelayakan, ketepatan, dan kemenarikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Pengembangan media poster layanan informasi dampak pernikahan dini pada siswa SMP di Banjarbaru mengadaptasi dari strategi pengembangan Borg & Gall (dalam Sugiono, 2016) yang memiliki tujuh tahap. Media poster dilakukan pengujian oleh ahli validasi yaitu ahli bimbingan konseling, ahli media dan 5 Guru bimbingan konseling di Banjarbaru. Untuk hasil penilaian dari ahli validasi dan 5 Guru bimbingan konseling mendapatkan kategori “Sangat Layak”.

Abstract

Cyberbullying pada kalangan remaja merupakan bentuk baru dari bullying. Cyberbullying yang dimaksud mencakup komentar negatif pada postingan tertentu, pesan personal tak bersahabat, serta menyebarkan postingan atau profil akun media sosial tertentu dengan cara mengolok-olok. Hal ini terjadi karena rasio remaja pengguna internet telah meningkat dengan cepat. Terutama di situs jaringan sosial, chat room, dan aplikasi pesan instan. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk mencegah perilaku cyberbullying remaja/peserta didik SMP Negeri 7 Banjarmasin. Peserta dalam kegiatan ini berjumlah 61 peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah berupa Pelatihan asertif. Adapun rangkaian kegiatan pelatihan terdiri dari pertemuan I: orientasi.dan pemutaran video cyberbullying, Curah pencapat (Braintorming). Pertemuan II: pemutaran video tata cara bermedia sosia, tanya jawab dan Evaluasi. Evaluasi berupa pertanyaan di jawaban tertulis. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan baik pengetahuan dan sikap siswa sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pelatihan asertif untuk mencegah perilaku cyberbullying.

Abstract

The purpose of this service is to increase the independence of the Muhammadiyah Putri Aisyah Orphanage through the processing of nuggets of emotion. Through this activity, knowledge and skills are provided as provisions for entrepreneurship for foster children after leaving the orphanage. As well as providing knowledge and skills for managing orphanages as an alternative to be used as a productive economic business that can support the basic needs of orphanages. The method of implementing this community service activity is in the form of training carried out in groups. The series of training activities carried out consisted of meeting I, namely (a) Motivating partners, using the lecture and question and answer method and (b) Training on processing haruan nuggets using demonstration and practice methods. The second meeting consisted of (a) Partners practicing again processing Haruan nuggets, and (b) practicing packing processed nuggets. Meeting III, namely financial calculations, using lectures and questions and answers. Meeting IV consists of (a) marketing strategy, using discussion and question and answer methods and (b) Evaluation. Evaluation through interviews. The results of this dedication show that there is an increase in the independence of partners, namely partners who are skilled at processing and packaging Haruan nuggets, 75% partners master the calculation of the cost of goods and selling prices. 85% know and understand how to promote and sell Haruan nuggets.

Abstract

Academic supervision is essentially an action that is attempted to assist teachers in developing their potential to manage learning so that it is better. The Madrasah head as a supervisor in carrying out his duties in carrying out academic supervision should have been carried out in a programmed and measurable manner. This study aims to describe (1) describe the academic supervision arranged by the head of the madrasa in improving teacher performance at MAN 5 Barito Kuala, (2) describe the academic supervision arranged by the head of the madrasa in improving teacher performance at MAS Darul Mukarram Barito Kuala Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, which is a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken data and people and behavior that can be observed as research objects. Implementation of academic supervision by the head of the madrasa at MAN 5 Barito Kuala and MAS Darul Mukarram Barito Kuala District. took samples and data sources from the Head of Madrasah Teachers and the Academic Supervision Team. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it shows that: (1) The implementation of supervision at MAN 5 Barito Kuala is in accordance with the existing theory. By carrying out the observation phase which starts with planning, implementation, analysis and evaluation, as well as follow-up supervision, it has been able to improve teacher performance and teacher competency in the learning process. (2) The implementation of supervision at MAS Darul Mukarram, Barito Kuala Regency, is also in accordance with the existing theory. The supervision stage also begins with planning, implementation, analysis and evaluation, as well as follow-up supervision which has shown an increase in teacher performance in planning lessons, teacher competence, and teacher performance in the learning process.

Abstract

Prokrastinasi akademik adalah kecenderungan untuk menunda-nunda tugas akademik tanpa alasan yang rasional. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra adalah banyaknya siswa yang memiliki masalah prokrastinasi akademik. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya keterlambatan pengumpulan tugas oleh siswa, banyak guru mengeluh karena siswa sering telat mengumpul tugas, ada siswa yang tidak mengerjakan tugas, dan membolos untuk menghindari mengerjakan tugas. Solusi yang ditawarkan dalam pengabdian ini adalah pendampingan dalam upaya menurunkan perilaku prokrastinasi akademik siswa melalui self management di SMK Bina Banua Banjarmasin. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa Pendampingan. Adapun rangkaian kegiatan terdiri dari pertemuan I: pre-test, memotivasi mitra, tata-tertib kegiatan, dan menyampaikan materi. Pertemuan II: menetapkan tujuan yang spesifik, terukur, dan dapat dicapai. Pertemuan III: Membuat rencana tindakan yang jelas dan terperinci. Pertemuan IV: Time management. pertemuan V. Evaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan yaitu penurunan perilaku prokrastinasi akademik siswa. Siswa mengetahui pentingnya mengumpul tugas tepat waktu. Siswa mampu memenajemen diri, Siswa menggunakan waktu dengan baik

Abstract

Bullying continues to be a significant problem in educational settings, adversely affecting the psychological, physical, and social well-being of kids. This study investigates the difficulties and solutions for preventing and mitigating bullying among Vocational High School (SMK) students in Banjarmasin, Indonesia. Data were gathered via written and semi-structured interviews with four guidance and counseling educators from public and private vocational institutions Using a qualitative research methodology and case study design. The thematic analysis identified three primary challenges: the perception of bullying as a "joke," the impact of social media and the social context, and the difficulties of emotional regulation in adolescents. In response to these difficulties, schools are adopting various strategic approaches, including traditional services, anti-bullying policies, a WhatsApp hotline for reporting incidents, and collaborative initiatives that include all stakeholders within the school community. This research underscores the significance of technology integration and community engagement in fostering a secure and inclusive educational atmosphere. These findings substantially enhance the formulation of successful educational policies and anti-bullying initiatives.

Abstract

EM4 merupakan salah satu  jenis  larutan   yang   mengandung   bakteri seperti decomposer, lactobacillus sp, bakteri asam laktat, bakteri fotosintetik, jamur pengurai selulosa, bakteri pelarut fosfor yang berfungsi sebagai pengurai bahan organik secara alami. Pemberian pelatihan kepada warga belajar merupakan salah satu sasaran pendidikan yang ingin dicapai guna memaksimalkan proses pembelajaran warga belajar paket C di SKB Kota Banjarmasin. Pelatihan yang diberikan adalah pelatihan pembuatan activator EM4 (efektif mikroorganisme 4) berbahan dasar limbah. Pembuatan activator EM4 merupakan salah satu bagian dari riset yang telah dilakukan oleh penulis dalam hal pemanfataannya untuk mempercepat pembuatan kompos. Penyampaian pelatihan pembuatan EM4 di Paket C SKB Kota Banjarmasin dilakukan untuk memenuhi pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada kecakapan hidup karena warga belajar dapat mengaplikasikan cara pembuatannya dan pemanfaatannya dalam pembuatan kompos. Hasil post test menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan warga belajar peserta pelatihan terhadap pupuk dan EM4 meningkat sebesar 80%. Keinginan untuk mengaplikasikan juga terlihat dari pertanyaan yang muncul selama berlangsungkanya kegiatan. Perubahan juga terjadi pada warga belajar paket C yang awalnya belum memahami wajibnya hadir rutin dalam pembelajaran pada jadwal yang ditentukan, dengan adanya praktik konseling motivasi belajar yang telah kami lakukan telah banyak memberikan dampak perubahan  dengan adanya kehadiran yang rutin dan mereka menjadi bersemangat untuk mengikuti  pembelajaran.
