Abstract

Binuang Vocational High School 1 often found students lacking in concentration in class when the lesson took place. Based on the identification of the problem, due to lack of understanding of students in dealing with emotional students faced in the implementation of learning. For this reason, it is necessary to conduct research on the effect of personal counseling services in improving intellectual and emotional intelligence. The aim is to find out how much influence personal counseling services have on intellectual intelligence and emotional intelligence. This research was carried out on 11 August to September 2017 with a location in Binuang 1 Vocational High School. The data is collected through interviews with respondents using a questionnaire. The study sample was taken through three stages, the school level was appointed, the class determination (two classes) was appointed, and then continued with a simple random to determine 30 respondents. Data analysis using regression results of the study shows that X against Y1 F count (18,380) is greater than F table α 0,05 df 1/28 (4.20), then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. X against (Y2), the calculated F value (22,413) is greater than F table (4.20) so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Personal counseling services affect intellectual intelligence and emotional intelligence. It was concluded that the variable personal counseling service (X) can be used as a recommended variable in estimating the variables Y1 and Y2.

Abstract

Student behavior that violates school rules is the behavior of students who are not responsible for carrying out their duties as students. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a reduction in the behavior of students who violated the school rules using group counseling for students of SMP Negeri 17 Banjarmasin. This study uses quantitative methods. This type of research is pre-experimental designs with Onegroup design, pretest-posttest design.Based on the results of the Wilcoxon test data calculation, the Z table obtained for the sig value 0.27 so Zhitung is -2.207, because this value is absolute so that the negative sign is not taken into account. So that the calculated Z value becomes 2.207, then the calculated Z value is compared with the Z table value with a significance level of 6%, the price of Z table = 0. Then Z count = 2.207>Ztable = 0 then Ha is accepted thus the behavior of the violation of the rules there is a change after being given group counseling services seen from the provisions of Zhitung>Ztable and Ho refused. So it can be concluded that group counseling services can reduce the behavior of students who violate the school rules for students who have a very high category to be high in class IX C students in SMP Negeri 17 Banjarmasin.

Abstract

The Industrial Era 4.0 has brought disruptive technological innovation, crossing physical and digital boundaries completely, and changing the way people carry out daily life activities and at work. Technological breakthroughs create opportunities for economic, social and individual growth, but artificial intelligence (AI) will take over human jobs. Human resource development readiness is important to overcome every obstacle in the 4.0 era. The aim of this research is to describe human resource development strategies that face challenges in the industrial era 4.0. The type of research method is descriptive analysis. The results show that a successful HRD strategy involves more than education, coaching, training, institutions, opportunities and rewards. Human resource management must increase creativity, change a fixed mindset into a growth mindset, adapt to science and technology and make changes, create superior human resources and adapt to the influence of the new era entering the social era. 5.0.

Abstract

Bullying behavior is behavior that is carried out repeatedly by a group of students who have power over weak students with the aim of causing displeasure or pain by other people, either one or several people directly against someone who is unable to fight back. The aim of this community service is to prevent bullying at SMKN 3 Banjarmasin. The participants in this activity were 36 students from class XI b TJKT. The method used is training in respectful and empathetic behavior through the role play method to prevent bullying. As for the activities: Meeting I, namely 1. Orientation and Pre-test, then delivery of role play training rules, and division into groups and roles, 2. Students act out bullying scenes in forms of verbal, physical and cyberbullying. 3. Students act in the positions of victims, perpetrators and witnesses of bullying. Meeting II, namely (4) Students act out a bullying prevention scene by being respectful, empathetic and helping the victim. 5. Students act out a reconciliation scene between the victim and the perpetrator of bullying, (7) Discussion after the role play to summarize the learning and feelings experienced. Next, evaluate the progress of training results. The training results showed that there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores for SMKN 3 Banjarmasin students, with an increase in scores of 45 points after participating in the role play training. This increase indicates that role play-based training methods are effective in increasing students' respectful and empathetic behavior.

Abstract

Bullying continues to be a significant problem in educational settings, adversely affecting the psychological, physical, and social well-being of kids. This study investigates the difficulties and solutions for preventing and mitigating bullying among Vocational High School (SMK) students in Banjarmasin, Indonesia. Data were gathered via written and semi-structured interviews with four guidance and counseling educators from public and private vocational institutions Using a qualitative research methodology and case study design. The thematic analysis identified three primary challenges: the perception of bullying as a "joke," the impact of social media and the social context, and the difficulties of emotional regulation in adolescents. In response to these difficulties, schools are adopting various strategic approaches, including traditional services, anti-bullying policies, a WhatsApp hotline for reporting incidents, and collaborative initiatives that include all stakeholders within the school community. This research underscores the significance of technology integration and community engagement in fostering a secure and inclusive educational atmosphere. These findings substantially enhance the formulation of successful educational policies and anti-bullying initiatives.

Abstract

Variasi Bahasa Remaja dalam Media Sosial WhatsApp Siswa MAN 2 Parepare. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk variasi bahasa remaja dalam media sosial WhatsApp siswa MAN 2 Parepare, dan mendeskripsikan faktor yang melatarbelakangi terjadinya variasi bahasa remaja dalam media sosial WhatsApp siswa MAN 2 Parepare. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Data pada penelitian ini adalah kata-kata, frasa, atau kalimat yang digunakan oleh remaja yang diwakili oleh siswa yang berasal dari daerah berbeda, kelas berbeda, organiasi berbeda, dan latar belakang sosial berbeda pada saat berkomunikasi dalam media sosial WhatsApp yang di dalamnya memuat bentuk-bentuk dan faktor penyebab terjadinya variasi bahasa remaja. Teknik yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data adalah teknik observasi, teknik wawancara, teknik dokumentasi, serta teknik simak dan catat. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian variasi bahasa remaja dalam media sosial WhatsApp siswa MAN 2 Parepare mengungkapkan pertama, bentuk variasi bahasa yang ditemukan dari segi penutur yaitu idiolek, dialek, sosiolek (berdasarkan usia, berdasarkan jenis kelamin, akrolek, slang, dan kolokial). Sedangkan, variasi bahasa dari segi penggunaan/pemakaian dari segi pendidikan, dan variasi bahasa dari segi keformalan terdiri atas ragam usaha, ragam santai, dan ragam akrab. Kedua, faktor yang melatarbelakangi terjadinya variasi bahasa yang ditemukan berupa faktor latar belakang geografi, faktor latar belakang sosial, faktor waktu/situasi berbahasa, dan faktor bahasa gaul.

Abstract

Salah satu masalah besar yang dihadapi Indonesia adalah penyalahgunaan narkoba di kalangan remaja. Remaja, terutama siswa sekolah menengah atas (SMA), berada dalam fase pertumbuhan psikologis dan sosial yang sangat sensitif terhadap berbagai pengaruh eksternal, termasuk narkoba. Guru BK dan wali kelas sangat penting dalam mendidik siswa tentang bahaya penyalahgunaan narkoba. Guru BK bertanggung jawab untuk mendukung kesejahteraan psikologis siswa dan menumbuhkan pola pikir yang sehat. Wali kelas bertanggung jawab untuk melacak perilaku, sikap, dan interaksi siswa di kelas. Penelitian adalah kualitatif dan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang digunakan guru BK untuk mencegah penyalahgunaan narkoba di SMAN 6 Banjarmasin adalah dengan memberikan layanan preventif berupa layanan bimbingan klasikal serta bekerjasama dengan wali kelas, dimana wali kelas bertugas untuk mengawasi siswa ketika berada di dalam kelas dan memberikan informasi terkait permasalahan siswa kepada guru BK. Sedangkan strategi wali kelas dalam upaya pencegahan narkoba yaitu dengan mengajak siswa untuk hidup sehat dan melakukan senam sehat bersama setiap hari senin.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam mengendalikan emosi, Subjek kegiatan terdiri atas 30 orang siswa kelas XI B yang berpartisipasi aktif dalam pelatihan. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi dua sesi utama, yaitu (1) sosialisasi dan pre-test untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat awal kemampuan siswa dalam mengelola emosi marah, serta (2) penyampaian materi inti yang mencakup konsep emosi dalam perspektif Islam, dalil Al-Qur’an dan hadis tentang pentingnya pengendalian emosi, serta praktik spiritual seperti sabar, dzikir, wudhu, dan shalat sebagai strategi pengendalian marah. Setelah pelatihan, dilakukan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan kesadaran siswa mengenai pentingnya pengelolaan emosi sesuai nilai-nilai Islam. Peserta menunjukkan perubahan sikap yang lebih tenang dan reflektif dalam menghadapi situasi emosional, serta memahami pentingnya spiritualitas dalam menjaga kestabilan emosi. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini terbukti efektif dalam membantu siswa menginternalisasi nilai-nilai Qur’ani dalam mengendalikan kemarahan dan mengembangkan karakter islami yang berakhlak mulia. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi sekolah lain dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan emosional berbasis spiritual.

Abstract

The public service provided by the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) in Banjar Regency focuses on facilitating Hajj and Umrah services. With the continuous increase in the number of prospective Hajj pilgrims in Banjar Regency, it is essential to provide quality services. Employees need to exhibit behavioral competencies to address challenges in the current era, encompassing three aspects: employee behavior in communication and social skills, adaptability and task completion, and technological skills. This research aims to analyze employee behavior in enhancing the quality of Hajj and Umrah services in the era of Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0 at the Ministry of Religious Affairs office in Banjar Regency. This qualitative research adopts a cross- sectional approach conducted over one month. Twenty respondents were selected using convenience sampling. Data were collected, transcribed, translated, and then subjected to directed content analysis to identify main themes. It is observed that employees' behavior in communication and social skills, as well as adaptability and task completion aspects, have been implemented effectively. However, the technological skills aspect is deemed suboptimal. There is a need for improvement in technological skills and a shift in mindset among employees to address the challenges of Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0.
