Abstract

Thrift Shop Karang Sukun is well known as Pasar Rombengan. It is one of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that operates in the fashion industry specifically selling used clothes. Business ethics education for MSMEs has an important role in forming honest, fair and responsible behavior in running a business. This research aims to promote ethical business through business ethics education for Karang Sukun Thrift Shop MSME entrepreneurs. And this research also observed changes in business behavior after business ethics education was provided. This research shows a significant increase in knowledge and understanding of business ethics among second-hand clothing MSME owners after receiving education. Apart from that, business ethics education can influence business behavior in the used clothing MSME environment. It is hoped that this research will be useful for MSME entrepreneurs, especially Karang Sukun thrift shop.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to assess the impact of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) development programs provided by the Indonesian government on the business development of women entrepreneurs in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). To answer this question, we distributed online questionnaires to women entrepreneurs in NTB to see how involved they were in these programs and how well these programs had an impact on their business development. After receiving responses from 303 respondents, the results of this study indicated that these programs had less impact on their business development. This is due to the lack of information that respondents receive about these programs so they do not have the opportunity to participate. On the other hand, respondents who had participated in several programs confirmed that the programs they had participated in had a good impact on their business development. This study offers valuable insights into the business conditions of women in NTB and sheds light on the obstacles they encounter. As a result, the research's outcomes are expected to provide valuable recommendations to the government for the formulation of future programs that facilitate the growth of women entrepreneurs in Indonesia, particularly in NTB.

Abstract

Pariwisata adalah berbagai macam kegiatan wisata yang didukung oleh fasilitas layanan yang disediakan oleh masyarakat, penguasaha dan pemerintah. Pariwisata memerlukan regulasi yang kuat untuk memastikan kegiatan yang berkelanjutan di destinasi tersebut. Tidak hanya regulasi yang kuat, tetapi juga diperlukan pemahaman lebih lanjut tentang layanan pariwisata berkualitas untuk melayani pelanggan dengan baik. Selain itu, regulasi dan layanan berkualitas adalah elemen penting yang perlu dipromosikan bagi pemandu wisata di Desa Sade Rembitan sehingga mereka dapat mengimplementasikan regulasi dan layanan berkualitas dengan baik bagi pengunjung yang berkunjung ke tempat tersebut. Kurangnya pemahaman tentang regulasi dan cara kreatif untuk mengimplementasikan layanan berkualitas kepada pengunjung sehingga tim kami melakukan workshop. Tujuan dari workshop ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kreativitas mengenai layanan berkualitas dan regulasi pariwisata. Pelatihan ini meggunakan metode ceramah. Workshop ini dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan masyarakat berbasis pariwisata di Desa Sade Rembitan, Lombok Tengah. Dalam melaksanakan kegiatan, workshop menggunakan beberapa fase, termasuk koordinasi, workshop, dan studi literatur. Setelah menjalankan workshop, pemandu wisata di Desa Sade Rembitan memiliki kompetensi dalam hal tentang pemahaman regulasi dalam pariwisata dan cara kreatif untuk mengimplementasikan layanan berkualitas kepada pengunjung. Diharapkan workshop ini juga memberikan wawasan kepada praktisi pariwisata lainnya.

Abstract

Entrepreneurial intentions reflect a person's commitment to starting a new business. Generation Z who grew up with technology, the internet and social media has a preference for starting a busines. This research aims to explore entrepreneurial intention among Generation Z (Gen Z) in Mataram City. Qualitative research methods and descriptive approaches will be used to investigate motivations, values, or factors that influence entrepreneurial tendencies in this generation. This research involved 25 participants from Gen Z in Mataram City, with special attention to educational background and interest in entrepreneurship. The results of the investigation reveal that personal attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, social norms, opportunity recognition, and entrepreneurial role models are factors that can influence entrepreneurial intention. Gen Z tends to want to start a new business if they have good knowledge or education about entrepreneurship. Gen Z's entrepreneurial interest focuses on the use of technology where they want to start a new business by maximizing the use of technology.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) yang berjudul Familiarisasi Konsep Pariwisata Halal untuk Sumber Daya Manusia Pondok Pesantren telah berhasil dilakukan dan mendapatkan hasil yang baik dan positif terhadap mitra. Para peserta yang terdiri dari santri dan guru pada awalnya dapat dikatakan sebagai individu yang awam dan tidak familiar dengan konsep pariwisata halal. Sangat sedikit dari peserta yang mampu menjelaskan dengan benar mengenai definisi pariwisata halal dan bagimana seharusnya penerapannya dilapangan. Para peserta juga sangat tidak familiar dengan landasan-landasan yang ditetapkan oleh lembaga seperti MUI dan DSN padahal mereka telah mempelajarinya di pesantren. Para pesertapun tidak begitu familiar tentang sertifikasi halal dan bagaimana dampaknya pada loyalitas wisatawan untuk jangka Panjang. Namun setelah dilakukan sosialisasi dapat terlihat bahwa peserta mendapatkan pemahaman yang baik akan konsep-konsep tersebut. Para peserta menjadi paham juga akan kebutuhan penyediaan tempat ibadah di fasilitas wisata berdasarkan temuan penelitian. Pentingnya kreativitas dalam menyediakan area rekreasi terpisah berdasarkan jenis kelamin untuk memberikan kenyamanan bagi wisatawan Muslim serta bagaimana dampak sertifikasi halal dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan konsumen dan loyalitas wisatawan Muslim. Secara umum pula hasil dari post-test yang meningkat signifikan dari hasil pre-test dapat menunjukan adanya pemahaman yang didapatkan setelah dilakukan sosialisasi.

Abstract

Halal tourism is regarded as a rapidly developing segment in the global number of tourists, mainly due to the rising Muslim population. This research seeks to establish the factors that have hindered the growth of halal tourism in Lombok, Indonesia and the local people’s attitude on the subject, the problems that industry stakeholders face; and the culture and social impacts of halal tourism. The study methodology involves using qualitative research with documentation review and analysis as the data collection tool. The study shows that local communities have fears that the development of halal tourism will erode indigenous cultures while industry players highlight issues in meeting the costly halal standards. The findings of this research demonstrate the need to assess local culture compliance in the process of conceptualizing and developing halal tourism and other initiatives to ensure they do not interfere with cultural heritage standards and could foster sustainable tourism.
