Abstract

Saat ini UMKM Rotiku mengalami peningkatan yang sangat signifikan karena Roti Menjadi banyak peminat di Bandung sehingga banyaknya permintaan dari konsumen. Permasalahan yang di temukan pada UKM kurangya pengalaman pekerja sehingga hal ini sangat berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas kerja.Time Study yaitu suatu aktivitas untuk menentukan waktu yang di butuhkan oleh seorang karyawan dalam melaksanakan sebuah kegiatan kerja dalam kondisi dan tempo yang normal untuk meningkatkan produktivitas. Stopwatch time study merupakan pengukuran waktu secara langsung karena pengamat waktu berada di tempat dimana objek pengukuran sedang di amatiDari Hasil Analisis maka didapatkan hasil waktu siklus pembuatan Dari hasil tabel diatas maka didapatkan hasil waktu normal pembuatan roti sebesar 479,86 detik atau 7,99 menit, output standara sebesar 545,30 detik atau 9,08 menit dan 0.25 unit per menit

Abstract

Jet Dyeing Machine is a machine used in the textile industry to dye fabric materials with efficiency and large-scale production capacity. PT XXX faces a high frequency of damage and total lost time on several components of production machines, so proper maintenance and maintenance in accordance with standards needs to be carried out to reduce the frequency of damage and total lost time and extend the service life of components. The CPM approach can help in creating an effective maintenance and maintenance schedule so that production can run smoothly and efficiently. This study aims to plan maintenance schedules and preventive maintenance on production machines at PT XXX using the CPM approach. The results of the analysis show that routine maintenance and maintenance of machine components is very important to reduce the frequency of damage and total lost time that can have an impact on production losses. The maintenance schedule must be considered carefully so as not to interfere with production and not to interfere with the performance of the machine and maintenance personnel must have adequate knowledge and skills to carry out maintenance and maintenance properly in accordance with the established SOP. Total losses due to wasted lost time can be reduced by 24% from the original. Repair and replacement of components that often experience damage need to be done to reduce the frequency of damage and total lost time on PT XXX production machines

Abstract

The stages of a good production process begin with carrying out production planning and forecasting. This stage is carried out to reduce the impact of uncertainty in the future. There are many methods that can be used in forecasting, but there are often obstacles to the lack of data owned to do forecasting. Gray system theory is one of the theories developed to reduce the problem of lack data owned. This research tries to forecast the needs of PT X using the grey method. Based on the results of forecasting using the Grey Method, the method can produce forecasting with a good level of accuracy and is on the criteria of "Qualified" or good enough with an error ratio value of C of 0.36

Abstract

PT BCD is a company which engages in the field of the distribution sector. Besides distributing, PT BCD also has a warehouse which is used as a place to store stock of goods that have not been sent to customers. The products distributed include medicines, pharmaceutical equipment, veterinary products and other consumer goods. However, recently the products most frequently ordered by customers are cough and flu medicines considering the unpredictable weather changes and increasing pollution. When compared with other brands, SNF brand cough and flu medicine products are the most frequently ordered products over the past two years. However, the amount of demand for these products is often uncertain every quarter. This sometimes causes customer orders set to a pending stock so that customers have to wait quite long for the product to be received or in other conditions the product in the warehouse is overstock so that the stock must be transferred between branches. To anticipate this happening in the future, which mean at 2024, forecasting needs to be done so that the supply of SNF brand medicine can be estimated more precisely. In this research, forecasting was carried out using the decomposition method to determine how many folding boxes should be provided in each quarter in 2024. From the forecasting results, we obtained an estimate of the stock that must be provided in the 1st quarter is 438 folding boxes, 340 folding boxes for the 2nd quarter, in the 3rd quarter approximately need 379 folding boxes and in the fourth quarter there were 270 folding boxes needed

Abstract

PT XYZ is a company that engaged in the footwear manufacturing industry. In the production process, one of tool that required is cutting dies to form the desired designs or patterns. The production process that uses cutting dies is carried out in the moldshop section. Cutting dies are made from sheet plates that are cut to size, then processed to form a pattern or design that will be used in the main production section. Several departments were placed not in accordance with the production process flow, causing delays in the delivery of cutting dies. This also causes longer material handling time and there is irregular material flow such as cross material flow and alternating flow which also results in queuing processes. For this problem, it is necessary to design a layout to produce a shorter total distance and better production flow using the BLOCPLAN Algorithm and CORELAP Algorithm methods. From the design results, the proposed layout of the BLOCPLAN Algorithm was obtained which was able to produce a total distance of 2385.5 meters per day, whereas if using the CORELAP Algorithm it was 1514.63 meters per day. Therefore, it is recommended to use the layout from the CORELAP Algorithm calculation so that it can produce an efficiency of 20.60%.

Abstract

The concept of OEE is a method for measuring the effectiveness of machines or production equipment that involves three main factors: Availability, Performance, and Quality. The OEE calculation formula is the product of these three factors. A case study at PT. Makmur Jaya Abadi shows that the implementation of the OEE Monitoring System has provided real benefits, such as improved production efficiency, improved product quality, and reduced production costs. However, the challenges faced include system complexity, training needs, and changes in work culture.

Abstract

PT XYZ is a company engaged in the pharmaceutical sector that supplies medicines in Indonesia. In the packaging of medicinal products, there are two types of packaging. Among them are primary packaging and secondary packaging. Chuan Yung Stripping Machine is one of the strip machines in the primary packaging production stage of drugs used by PT XYZ. Problems regarding the existence of defective products caused by the Chuan Yung Stripping machine resulted in several products that were defective either damaged, pinched, and there was too much dust on the machine. This occurs due to human error or errors that occur on the Chuan Yung Stripping machine. The method used in this research is to use Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by determining the availability rate, performance rate, and quality rate to analyze Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). The OEE value in January 2023 - December 2023 is 75%. This percentage is very far compared to the global standard of 85% due to the absence of OEE values that reach or exceed 85%. This happens due to high machine downtime. So the company must make improvements in order to improve product quality, work effectiveness and machines as well as in reducing the presence of defective products

Abstract

This study focuses on evaluating the efficiency of managing raw material inventory with the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) method to reduce inventory costs at PT DXI.This research method was carried out using quantitative methods with the data source used being secondary data through historical company demand data. The MRP method in the research is applied to identify raw material needs based on historical demand data, calculate optimal ordering schedules, and evaluate the impact on inventory costs. The Lot Sizing technique used in this MRP method is Fixed Period Requirement and Least Unit Cost. Research findings indicate that implementing the MRP Lot Sizing method significantly reduces inventory costs. The aviation manufacturing sector benefits greatly from this study, particularly within supply chain management, demonstrates significant efficiency improvements, which is intricate and ever-changing. It is envisaged that using this approach will help with attempts to keep a sustainable supply of components and optimize the production process.

Abstract

The manufacturing industry faces major challenges in managing often uncertain demand fluctuations. This applies to PT. XYZ, a company operated in the production of automotive spare parts. Uncertainty in demand results in the risk of overproduction which increases storage costs or underproduction which has the potential to reduce customer confidence. The aim of this research is to predict production demand implementing the decomposition method, which separates historical data into trend, seasonal, cyclical and random components. This method is able to provide more accurate predictions by utilizing historical data for the last three years. The research results show that there are seasonal trends that influence inventory levels, with peak inventories usually occurring in K1 or K3, while K4 tends to be the period with the lowest inventories. With this method, PT. XYZ can increase production efficiency, minimize operational costs, and optimize production capacity according to market needs. Based on inventory estimates for 2024 and 2025, a consistent fluctuation pattern can be seen every quarter. In 2024, the first quarter (K1) is estimated to have inventory of 23,107 units, which then decreases slightly in K2 to 22,058 units. Inventory increased again in K3 to 23,210 units, before experiencing a significant decline in K4 of 21,602 units. This pattern repeats in 2025, with K1 showing an increase to 24,381 units, followed by a decrease in K2 of 23,258 units. Inventory rose again in K3 to 24,455 units and fell again in K4 by 22,746 units.

Abstract

The footwear sector in Indonesia, being an essential part of the economy, encounters challenges like demand fluctuations, evolving fashion trends, and fierce competition. XYZ, a shoe manufacturer based in Cibaduyut, Bandung, emphasizes quality and innovation, crafting approximately 50,000 pairs of footwear each month. The manufacturing process involves cutting, stitching, assembling, and finishing, necessitating specialized expertise. The organization is dedicated to adopting contemporary and sustainable technologies, such as waste management and utilizing environmentally friendly materials. Precise production planning is essential to guarantee that product availability meets market demand, helping to prevent the dangers of excessive inventory or shortages. The straight-line approach, while uncomplicated, is useful for predicting production patterns using past data. This research examines the use of this technique in predicting shoe production at a firm, with the goal of obtaining a precise insight into the necessary production quantity for the future. The findings of this study are anticipated to aid management in decision-making related to production capacity, inventory control, and cost-effectiveness, allowing the company to adapt to market needs and reduce risks and losses linked to production.
