Abstract

Research and development of small and medium enterprises based on local wisdom in supporting the regional economy after the COVID-19 pandemic (a case study of the Sambas district) aims to determine the appropriate strategy to be implemented to empower local SMEs in the Sambas area, which is divided into three fields, namely weaving, rattan, and pandanus. The number of samples for each field is 27 for weaving, 32 for rattan, and 4 for pandanus. Meanwhile, the analysis used in this research is through the analysis of Force Field Analysis (FFA) and Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threat (SWOT). Based on the FFA analysis, it was found that the main driving factors were the selling price of the product, the price of raw materials, and advances in information technology, while the critical inhibiting factors were online marketing, total turnover, and business management. Based on the SWOT analysis through the EFAS and IFAS matrices, there are similarities in strategy taking: product innovation and differentiation, product sales via online or e-commerce, product quality and product quality improvement, and social campaigns to promote traditional values to encourage sales. Keywords: SMEs Based on Local Wisdom, Weaving, Pandan, Rattan, Development Abstrak Pengembangan UMKM berbasis kearifan lokal dalam mendukung perekonomian daerah pasca pandemi covid-19 (studi kasus kabupaten sambas) bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi yang sesuai untuk diimplementasikan demi memberdayakan UKM lokal daerah sambas yang dibagi menjadi tiga bidang yaitu tenun, rotan, dan pandan. Jumlah sampel untuk masing-masing bidang adalah adalah 27 untuk bidang tenun, 32 untuk bidang rotan, dan 4 untuk bidang pandan. Adapun, analisis dimana dipergunakan pada penelitian ini ialah melalui analisis Force Field Analysis (FFA) dan Strenght, Weakness, Opportunity, and, Threat (SWOT). Berdasarkan analysis FFA ditemukan faktor kunci pendorong utama yaitu harga jual produk, harga bahan baku, dan kemajuan teknologi informasi, sedangkan faktor kunci penghambat utama yaitu pemasaran online, jumlah omzet, dan pengelolaan usaha. Berdasarkan analysis SWOT melalui matriks EFAS dan IFAS ditemukan kesamaan dalam pengambilan stratgei yaitu adanya inovasi dan diferensiasi produk, penjualan produk melalui online atau e-commerce, peningkatan mutu dan kualitas produk, serta social campaign untuk mengedepankan nilai tradisionalitas untuk medorong penjualan. Abstract

This study investigates the influence of artificial intelligence (AI) and information system quality (ICT) on the mental health of Generation Z employees in West Kalimantan, with a specific focus on technostress as a mediating factor. The research uses an explanatory quantitative approach, employing a partial least squares-based structural equation model (PLS-SEM) via SmartPLS 4 software. The sample consists of 200 Generation Z employees, selected through purposive sampling based on age (18-27 years) and experience using AI and ICT for at least one year. The study reveals that AI positively and significantly affects employee mental health, while ICT has a negative and insignificant impact on employee mental health. Furthermore, technostress positively and significantly mediates the relationship between AI, ICT, and mental health. This research provides evidence that the effective use of AI and ICT, combined with proper technostress management, can enhance employee well-being and productivity, fostering innovation and efficiency in West Kalimantan’s workforce, ultimately positioning the region to leverage Generation Z’s digital skills to drive economic growth and attract investment in emerging tech sectors.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) play a crucial role in supporting regional economic growth, especially in rural areas. However, many MSMEs in Indonesia face various challenges, including limited access to wider markets, low digital literacy, and a lack of knowledge about market trends. In this KKM-PKM activity, a digital-based MSME empowerment program was implemented in Bange Village, Bengkayang Regency, West Kalimantan, by Tanjungpura University, utilizing marketplace platforms and social media. The goal of this activity is to help local MSME expand their market reach and increase competitiveness. Additionally, this activity explores the impact of strengthening literacy in the community through the establishment of a reading corner at SDN 08 Kandasan, as well as the implementation of a posyandu (integrated health service post) program as part of efforts to improve the health of the village community. The results of this activity indicate that digitalization and community-based empowerment not only have the potential to improve the economic conditions of MSME but also bring positive impacts on the overall social welfare and health of the community.

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to enhance the understanding of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Desa Lesabela, Kecamatan Ledo, Kabupaten Bengkayang, West Kalimantan, regarding branding and promotion. The program involved educational sessions and training through lectures, discussions, and simulations to help participants grasp strategies for building brand identity and increasing product value through effective promotion. The results indicate that MSMEs still require further assistance in optimizing the use of digital technology for promotion. This initiative is expected to support MSMEs in improving their competitiveness and contributing more significantly to the local and national economy.     Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) tentang branding dan promosi di Desa Lesabela, Kecamatan Ledo, Kabupaten Bengkayang, Kalimantan Barat. Kegiatan ini melibatkan penyuluhan dan pelatihan melalui ceramah, diskusi, dan simulasi untuk membantu peserta memahami strategi membangun identitas merek dan meningkatkan nilai jual produk melalui promosi yang efektif. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pelaku UMKM masih memerlukan pendampingan lebih lanjut untuk mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam promosi. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat mendorong UMKM dalam meningkatkan daya saing dan berkontribusi lebih besar pada perekonomian lokal dan nasional.

Abstract

Pengembangan sumber daya manusia merupakan aspek krusial bagi UMKM di wilayah perbatasan untuk meningkatkan daya saing dan membentuk citra (branding) produk lokal. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan pelatihan guna meningkatkan kapasitas SDM bagi pelaku UMKM di wilayah perbatasan. Melalui program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini sebagai upaya peningkatan kemampuan SDM, diharapkan dapat menciptakan produk berkualitas yang mampu bersaing di pasar domestik maupun mancanegara serta membentuk brand image yang kuat bagi produk lokal wilayah perbatasan Indonesia-Malaysia, Kecamatan Jagoi Babang Kabupaten Bengkayang Kalimantan Barat. Kegiatan ini mencakup serangkaian pelatihan, mulai dari pengembangan kompetensi SDM dalam hal kemampuan komunikasi, negosiasi dan pemantapan pemahaman budaya lokal dan produk yang dihasilkan. Melalui program ini, UMKM perbatasan akan memperoleh bekal pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang memadai untuk mengembangkan usaha mereka secara berkelanjutan dan meningkatkan daya saing di era globalisasi.
