Abstract

The importance of the role of MGMP as a forum for teacher competency development in increasing knowledge, abilities and skills. This study aims to describe in depth the efforts of the PAI MGMP in West Bandung Regency in increasing the professionalism of PAI teachers at West Bandung Junior High School and provide an explanation of the effectiveness of the PAI Cluster 4 MGMP in West Bandung Regency in increasing the professionalism of PAI teachers in SMP and to find out the problems of the PAI Cluster 4 MGMP in Bandung Regency. West in increasing the professionalism of PAI teachers in West Bandung Regency Junior High School. This research is qualitative research by taking the background of MGMP PAI Cluster 4, West Bandung Regency. Data was collected by conducting observations, in-depth interviews and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by giving meaning to the data that had been collected and from that meaning drawn conclusions. Checking the validity of the data is done by using triangulation, by means of Check recheck and Cross checking. The results showed: (1) MGMP PAI efforts in West Bandung Regency in improving the professionalism of teachers, are through supervision, coaching, and training which are manifested in routine programs and development programs, through which teacher competence is expected to increase (2) MGMP has not been running effectively because Management is not optimal and MGMP standards are not met (3) Barriers faced by MGMP PAI Cluster 4 West Bandung Regency, namely the large area and complexity of teacher problems, MGMP cannot reflect the real needs of each school or teacher, MGMP management has not run properly good, and inadequate funding for MGMP operations. (4) the solution to the problem carried out by MGMP PAI Cluster 4 is to create a stronger network between members, utilize telecommunications and internet media, optimize deliberation and consensus in every meeting.

Abstract

This article analyses strategies to improve the quality of Islamic Religious Education learning. Descriptive analysis, which began with observation, interviews, and documentation, was used. Therefore, various types of data were collected related to the research problem. Data verification was conducted, and the data were interpreted to obtain answers. The results showed that the teacher's program was administrative preparation, innovative and varied methods using media, practice, memorization, deposit, and writing the Qur'an. The principal programs were performed with motivation, cooperation, assignments, and daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly review learning. Meanwhile, the evaluations focused not on essays and multiple choice questions but on open questions and attitude assessments. Supporting factors are the principal's policy, complete facilities and infrastructure, educators, high motivation, and internal and external inhibiting factors arising from the teachers and unbalanced facilities. Concerning the required efforts, teachers always participate in training activities and seminars, and the school continues to add a few facilities. In conclusion, the strategy for improving the quality of learning is based on teacher and school programs, student morals, and achievement.

Abstract

Community service activities (PkM) in the KKN program can be used as a vehicle for the application and development of knowledge outside the campus. Through the voluntary blood donor social service program, it is hoped will increase the social awareness of STAI Darul Falah students about public health problems. The activity with the theme "A Drop of Your Blood, Hope for Others", is a strategy that can foster knowledge and practical experience in the field. So that students understand the benefits of blood donation not only textually but also contextually as one of the problems found in people's lives. The experience of working together in teams from various elements of society has increased the ability of students to take part in the community both disciplinary and interdisciplinary. This can hone their soft skills in building social networks. So that they are better prepared to be part of a productive and efficient society. Abstract

Real Work Lecture, Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) is a tangible manifestation in implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, one of which is community service where students must devote themselves wholeheartedly which is carried out with an approach in the community. This KKN is the task of universities to determine the regions and groupings determined by LP2M, the benefits of which are to introduce aspects of education, health and social society. With the KKN in Cicangkanggirang village, it is hoped that students will be able to optimize the form of kinship, good character and students are able to face problems that occur during times of crisis and are independent and able to think critically in facing challenges in real life. A program that has been successfully implemented includes in the field of education such as tutoring, smart homes, seminars and regular recitations. In the health sector, such as posyandu, blood donation and environmental hygiene and in the social sector, such as village administration services, distribution of BLT, donations to orphans, celebrating the Republic of Indonesia's Independence Day, Tabligh akbar and helping UMKM. The obstacle found is the lack of concern for some of the community towards children's education and health, both for the environment and for themselves.

Abstract

Education during the covid-19 pandemic brought a very big change from face-to-face learning in class to "back-to-back" learning or online learning at home, this must be done to suppress the spread of covid-19. In its implementation, there are many supporting and inhibiting factors, both internal and external, from teachers, students, parents and the community. The smart home program which is carried out in the context of community service aims to support the learning process in increasing knowledge and motivation in children at the SD/MI level while at the same time easing the burden on parents. This program is implemented in collaboration between lecturers and students participating in KKN STAI Darul Falah, West Bandung. In this smart home program applying learning assistance, motivation, providing basic material, memorization, exercises and games. The method used is a direct or expository learning method carried out face-to-face both in the home room, home page and open space. The media used in this program are textbooks to support SD/MI, stationery equipment, laptops and play equipment. The results achieved from this program are enthusiastic from the students, so this program runs well from the first week to the last week, so that students' knowledge increases and new experiences in learning are obtained by students.

Abstract

The implementation of Merdeka Curriculum demands innovation in the learning process, one of which is through the use of digital learning media based on ubiquitous learning (u-learning). U-learning allows learning to take place anytime and anywhere, supporting flexibility in meeting student needs. This research aims to assist Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers in Cililin Sub-district in designing and applying u-learning-based digital learning media relevant to the Merdeka Curriculum. The method used is a participatory approach, involving training, workshops and direct assistance to teachers. The mentoring results show that teachers are able to develop digital learning media using platforms. They also successfully integrated elements of the Merdeka Curriculum, such as project-based learning and differentiation, into the designed media. In addition, the utilization of digital technology increases student engagement in learning, both in class and independently. Teachers feel more confident in utilizing technology and show increased creativity in compiling learning materials. This study concludes that assistance in making u-learning-based digital learning media is effective in supporting the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. The main recommendation is the need for continuous training to ensure teachers can utilize technology optimally, as well as the provision of supporting infrastructure such as an adequate internet network. With this approach, it is expected that learning in madrasah can be more innovative, inclusive, and relevant to the needs of students in the digital era.

Abstract

This study analyzes the Quran reading ability of fifth-grade students from Islamic and public elementary schools in West Bandung Regency. A total of 104 students participated, including 33 from MI Ar-Ridhwan, 15 from MI Darussyifa Al-Musri' 1, 26 from SD Karangtanjung 2, and 30 from SD Pasir Banteng. Using a quantitative ex post facto design, the study examined the effects of school type and gender on Quran reading ability without direct intervention. The sample was selected through cluster probability sampling to ensure representation. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, including Two-Way ANOVA. Results showed a significant difference in Quran reading ability between students in Islamic and public schools, with MI students performing better. However, no significant gender-based differences were found. The findings highlight the impact of school context on religious learning outcomes, suggesting that the MI curriculum and pedagogy more effectively support Quran literacy. The study contributes to educational theory and underscores the need for enhanced Quran instruction in public schools through improved teaching methods and targeted teacher training.

Abstract

This article discusses Community Service (PKM) activity through Community Service Program students of STAI Darul Falah at the Al Muhajirin Qur'an Education Park (TPQ) Bongas Village, Cililin District, West Bandung Regency in the field of education. The activity focused on assisting students with literacy by providing a reading corner. Basically, the effort to optimize the alphabetic culture in Bongas Village are already existed through strengthening education in religious institutions, one of which is the Al-Muhajirin Al-Qur'an Education Park. However, one of the challenges faced is the TPQ does not yet have adequate libraries, and there are no routine programs related to literacy. This needs to be improved in order to increase the enthusiasm for learning of children or students at TPQ Al Muhajirin which is located in Bongas village. The aim of this research is to increase literacy culture among students of TPQ Al-Muhajirin, hamlet (RW) 18 Bongas Village by providing Islamic reading corner facilities. The results of this community service have an impact positive towards the character development and early literacy habits for students. Apart from that, it is expected that this program can become a sustainable activity and increasingly support early literacy learning for children or students.

Abstract

Background: Pembelajaran di sekolah dasar sering kali menghadapi tantangan dalam pemanfaatan teknologi, terutama dalam mengintegrasikan perangkat lunak pendidikan seperti GeoGebra. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pendampingan guru dalam menggunakan GeoGebra sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif. Metode: Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan teknis dan pendampingan berkelanjutan, untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam merancang bahan ajar sesuai dengan kurikulum nasional. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan komprehensif yang melibatkan literasi digital dan pengembangan kreativitas guru dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan penggunaan GeoGebra di kelas. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, disarankan agar program pendampingan ini dilanjutkan dengan memperluas jangkauannya ke sekolah-sekolah lain yang menghadapi tantangan serupa. Selain itu, peningkatan fasilitas teknologi di sekolah perlu diprioritaskan untuk memastikan integrasi teknologi yang optimal dalam proses pembelajaran. Dengan bagian Hasil dan Pembahasan, penilaian terhadap hasil program dan dampaknya terhadap guru dan siswa dapat disajikan secara jelas dan sistematis. Oleh karena itu, diharapkan kegiatan ini dapat memberikan dampak positif jangka panjang terhadap kualitas pendidikan dan pembelajaran di sekolah dasar.
