Abstract

The quality of health services is one of main focus for community. Awareness of the quality of health services is increasing with the demand for improving the quality from service providers and community as a service user. The quality of health services greatly affects patient satisfaction. The design of this study is analytic survey research with cross sectional approach. The purpose of this study is to know the relation of quality of health service to patient satisfaction at Army Health Center (PUSKESAD) POLKES of Takalar Regency in 2017. The research is conducted at Army Health Center (PUSKESAD) POLKES Takalar District. The sample in this study are patients who treated at the Army Health Center (PUSKESAD) POLKES Takalar District in June of 2017 as many as 94 people using a simple random sampling technique. Data analysis in this research is univariate and bivariate analysis using chi square test. The results showed that there was a significant correlation between health service quality based on indicator physical appearance, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy with patient satisfaction with each p value = 0,000. It is hoped that the Army Health Center (PUSKESAD) POLKES can improve the quality of health services and the confidence of patients in utilizing health services more increase.

Abstract

Information systems are an important factor for improving services as well as data savings for hospitals. Computerized service information systems are the right solution to solve problems. This research aims to determine the application of the Hospital Management Information System at Luwu District Hospital in improving service quality. The hospital management information system at Batara Guru Belopa Hospital includes three activities, namely input, process and output, which in its implementation is influenced by driving and inhibiting factors. The results of this research reveal that the RL 1, RL 2a, RL 2b reporting mechanisms created are incomplete and not in accordance with the Ministry of Health's regulations which should consist of RL 1, RL 2a, RL 2b, RL 3, RL 4, RL 5 and RL 6, So there are still obstacles in data processing, both manually and with computerized systems. The conclusion is that the resulting Management Information System does not support the reporting produced as feedback on the evaluation of the implementation of the programs being run.

Abstract

Preeklampsia adalah komplikasi pada masa kehamilan yang ditandai dengan tekanan darah yang mencapai angka 140/90 mmHg. Biasanya, preeklamsia terjadi setelah kehamilan memasuki usia 20 minggu. Preeklamsia juga dianggap sebagai kondisi yang paling sering mendahului eklampsia, yakni kondisi kehamilan yang disertai kejang. Metode pengabdian yaitu memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat tentang rekam medis elektronik dan faktor risiko kejadian preeklamsi serta melakukan pendampingan kepada petugas kesehatan tentang pengisian fitur rekam medis elektronik. Indikator keberhasilan pada penyuluhan ini adalah petugas kesehatan mampu melakukan sebuah pendokumentasian rekam medis pasien ke dalam RME dan masyarakat juga mengetahui tentang RME dan Faktor risiko kejadian preeklamsi. Kegiatan diagnosa preeklamsi yakni melakukan tes darah untuk memeriksa fungsi ginjal dan tuas, pengambilan sampel urin 24 jam untuk mendeteksi protein dalam urin, ultrasonografi untuk memeriksa pertumbuhan bayi dan volume cairan uterus, USG doppler untuk mengevaluasi aliran pembuluh darah di plasenta. Kesimpulan dari adanya penyuluhan ini petugas kesehatan akan dapat menerapkan penggunaan catatan medis elektronik dengan baik dan efektif, serta masyarakat (Ibu Hamil) juga dapat menerapkan pentingnya kesehatan pada perempuan baik sebelum maupun selama kehamilan dalam mencegah terjadinya preeklamsia. Disarankan agar tenaga kesehatan lebih memahami fitur yang ada di dalam rekam medis elektronik dan melakukan pendokumentasian diagnosa pasien dengan tepat Masyarakat diharapkan menghindari faktor penyebab preeklamsi pada saat hamil. Abstract

Satu indikator faktor lingkungan yang dapat menyebabkan stunting masyarakat secara tidak langsung adalah sanitasi total berbasis masyarakat (STBM). Metode pembangunan kesehatan yang berkaitan dengan sanitasi ini memanfaatkan pemberdayaan masyarakat untuk mendorong perubahan perilaku, terutama perilaku yang berpotensi mengakibatkan peningkatan kasus stunting. Karena kekurangan sumber daya dan jangkauan area kegiatan yang begitu luas, kegiatan penyuluhan belum dilakukan sepenuhnya. Tujuan: Meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang lima Pilar STBM dan stunting pada ibu balita di Desa Benteng Gajah. Metode: Penyuluhan memberikan pengabdian masyarakat, yang kemudian digunakan untuk mengukur indikator keberhasilan dengan menggunakan pre-test dan post-test. Hasil: Hasil dari kegiatan penyuluhan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta tentang 5 Pilar STBM dan Stunting. Ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai pre-test dan nilai post-test peserta baik sebelum maupun sesudah penyuluhan, dengan 61% peserta mengetahui tentang pilar STBM dan Stunting, dan 89% peserta mengetahui tentang pilar tersebut setelah penyuluhan. Keputusan: Kegiatan penyuluhan dapat membantu ibu balita lebih memahami penerapan 5 Pilar STBM dan Stunting. Untuk itu, kegiatan penyuluhan harus ditingkatkan agar petugas kesehatan dapat mengajarkan ibu balita hal-hal baru tentang kesehatan. Abstract

The hybrid working era that combines work in the office and from home poses its own challenges related to workers' mental health that can potentially affect work productivity. This study aims to examine the relationship between mental health, as measured through the variables of job stress, psychological anxiety, and emotional balance, to work productivity in office workers in the hybrid working era. The method used was a quantitative survey with a sample of 200 office workers, analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that work stress and psychological anxiety had a significant negative effect on work productivity, while emotional balance had a significant positive effect. The regression model used was able to explain 53.6% of the variation in work productivity. In addition, classical assumption testing confirmed that the research model was free from multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity, so the validity and reliability of the results can be accounted for. The findings confirm the importance of mental health management in supporting work productivity in a dynamic hybrid working environment. The practical implication of this study is the need for organizations to design intervention programs that reduce stress and anxiety while improving workers' emotional balance in order to achieve optimal performance. This research provides an empirical contribution to the development of mental health and work productivity literature in the era of work pattern transformation.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Effective communication is a crucial competency for healthcare workers in providing patient care. A lack of communication skills can impact the quality of care and patient satisfaction. This activity aims to improve healthcare workers' communication skills through structured training. Quality healthcare services are not only determined by the clinical competence of healthcare workers, but also significantly influenced by their communication skills in providing care to patients. Therapeutic communication plays a crucial role in building interpersonal relationships, enhancing trust, and supporting patient satisfaction. This community service activity aims to improve healthcare workers' competency in implementing therapeutic communication through an educational and practical approach. Implementation methods include educational activities, effective communication training (verbal and nonverbal), and role-play simulations, supported by mentoring in service practice. The targeted outcomes of this activity are increased knowledge and skills of healthcare workers in therapeutic communication and the realization of more empathetic, effective, and consistent service communication. Therefore, this activity is expected to improve patient comfort and satisfaction, as well as the quality of healthcare services on an ongoing basis at the Pertiwi Mother and Child Hospital in Makassar. The results showed an increase in the average score from 62.3 to 85.7, a 23.4-point increase. Furthermore, participants' communication skills improved during the simulation practice. The conclusion is that effective communication training can improve healthcare workers' knowledge and skills in communicating with patients.   Keywords: Health Communication, Healthcare Workers, Training, Healthcare Services ABSTRAK Komunikasi efektif merupakan salah satu kompetensi penting yang harus dimiliki oleh tenaga kesehatan dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada pasien. Kurangnya kemampuan komunikasi dapat berdampak pada menurunnya kualitas pelayanan dan kepuasan pasien. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi tenaga kesehatan melalui pelatihan terstruktur. Pelayanan kesehatan yang berkualitas tidak hanya ditentukan oleh kompetensi klinis tenaga kesehatan, tetapi juga sangat dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan komunikasi dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada pasien. Komunikasi terapeutik memiliki peran penting dalam membangun hubungan interpersonal, meningkatkan kepercayaan, serta mendukung kepuasan pasien. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi tenaga kesehatan dalam menerapkan komunikasi terapeutik melalui pendekatan edukatif dan aplikatif. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi kegiatan edukasi, pelatihan komunikasi efektif (verbal dan nonverbal), serta simulasi (role play) yang didukung dengan pendampingan dalam praktik pelayanan. Target luaran dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan tenaga kesehatan dalam komunikasi terapeutik serta terwujudnya komunikasi pelayanan yang lebih empatik, efektif, dan konsisten. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kenyamanan dan kepuasan pasien serta mutu pelayanan kesehatan secara berkelanjutan di RSKD Ibu dan Anak Pertiwi Makassar. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 62,3 menjadi 85,7 dengan peningkatan sebesar 23,4 poin. Selain itu, terjadi peningkatan keterampilan komunikasi peserta dalam praktik simulasi. Kesimpulan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan komunikasi efektif mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan tenaga kesehatan dalam berkomunikasi dengan pasien. Abstract

In order to improve the level of public health. There are many things that need to be considered, one of which is considered to have a quite important role, namely health care. So that the desired health management can be carried out well. There are many conditions that must be met, one of which is that the health service must have good quality values. Performance will be directed at all efforts carried out using human resources and supporting work facilities, thus all ideas and policies are taken to increase the company's work productivity. Efforts to compress existing resources to make something happen optimally by combining sources and results in an optimal form, human labor, in addition to facilities and other production sources are resources that must be utilized fully and purposefully.  This research aims to determine the relationship between competence, work discipline and satisfaction with employee performance. The type of research used is an observational study with a cross sectional study approach. The population of this study was 49 civil servants, and the sample in this study was a total population of 49 people. The results of the research show that there is a relationship between competency, work discipline and employee satisfaction with employee performance at the Bontosunggu Community Health Center, Gowa Regency. Bontomarannu Community Health Center can prioritize developing the work competencies of its employees through training, workshops and further education as well as providing rewards for employees who excel. This will help improve the quality of service provided by employees. The conclusion of this research is that there is a relationship between work competency, work discipline, job satisfaction and employee performance at the Bontomarannu Community Health Center, Gowa Regency.  Keywords : competency; discipline, satisfaction, performance

Abstract

Stunting cases in Maros Regency decreased from 3812 cases or 13.04% in 2020 to 2892 cases or 9.47%, but in 2022 the opposite happened, namely a significant increase in the number of cases and the prevalence of cases increased to 3750 cases or 12 .82%. In Tompobulu District, stunting cases have decreased from 12.69% in 2020, down to 12.11% in 2021. And in 2022 it will fall to 9.69%. Therefore, in this research we will analyze the relationship between the five STBM pillars and stunting cases in Tompobulu District, Maros Regency. The type of research in this research is research using a survey with a Cross Sectional Study approach. The population in this study were all stunted toddlers who were examined, totaling 146 toddlers. The sample in this research is the entire population. The results of the research show that there is a relationship between CTPS (0.005), drinking water and food management (0.005), securing RT waste (0.000), and securing liquid waste (0.000) with the incidence of stunting. Meanwhile, stopping defecation has no relationship with the incidence of stunting (0.911). The conclusion of this study is that the 4 variables in the study have a relationship with the occurrence of stunting. It is recommended that local communities increase awareness of the importance of sanitation in their area in order to reduce the high stunting rate.  Keywords: 5 Pillars, Community Based Total Sanitation (STBM), Stunting
