Abstract

“There is no health without mental health”.

Abstract

To notice that children are ready for elementary school is one of the most important things for children that teachers and parents need to care about., But many teachers still don't understand the importance of it the child's readiness embraces the readiness to learn, physical readiness, social skills, Emotional maturity, The ability to think and communicate. Nijmeegse Schoolbekwan Test is a measuring tool that is able to measure students' readiness to enter school. The methods used are lectures and direct practice by teachers. As a result of this community service, the teacher demonstrated the ability to use the NST measuring instrument and was able to interpret the test instrument well, so that the NST was used to measure student readiness in the current year.

Abstract

The simultaneous development of computational thinking skills and mathematical resilience remains a challenge in basic mathematics learning in higher education, primarily due to the limited number of interventions that empirically examine the relationship between the two after learning. This study aims to analyze the effect of a project-based learning (PBL)-based basic mathematics module on students’ computational thinking skills and mathematical resilience, as well as the relationship between the two constructs after the intervention. This study employed a quasi-experimental method with a single-group pretest-posttest design involving 31 students. Data were collected through a computational thinking test and a mathematical resilience questionnaire and then analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality tests, paired t-tests, effect sizes, and Pearson correlations. The results demonstrated a significant increase in computational thinking skills (t(30) = −13.348, p < 0.001, d = 2.397) and mathematical resilience (t(30) = −13.338, p < 0.001, d = 2.396), but no significant relationship was found between the two (r = 0.053, p = 0.777). These findings indicate that the PBL module is effective in improving both abilities separately, suggesting that a more integrative learning design is necessary to connect the development of both simultaneously.

Abstract

Education is instrumental in the development of an anti-corruption mindset among the younger generation, which serves as the groundwork for the eradication of corruption in Indonesia. This movement is a reflection of the government's political will and is bolstered by the thorough preparation and readiness of legal instruments. This legal counseling activity is designed to foster a profound comprehension of the perils of corruption, to foster a sense of collective awareness, and to inculcate the importance of integrity in the minds of high school students and the general public. The Community Based Research (CBR) method was implemented through a series of stages, including joint planning (identification of school needs and material preparation), participatory implementation (outreach, legal quizzes, Q&A, small group discussions), and reflective evaluation (pre-post understanding survey). This process involved active collaboration between the service team, teachers, and students. With the participation of 30 eleventh-grade students, accompanying teachers, and facilitators from various lecturers and students in the study programs at Universitas Tjut Nyak Dhien Medan, this activity was conducted on May 9, 2026, at SMA APIPSU Medan. The outcome was a substantial improvement in the participants' comprehension of the detrimental effects of socio-economic corruption, as well as a dedication to honesty, transparency, care, and independence. The interactive dynamics enabled participants to compare societal corruption (cheating, extortion) with school corruption cases (cheating, extortion) and develop practical prevention strategies. In summary, this participatory CBR approach has demonstrated its efficacy in the development of a generation of youth who are highly integrity-driven. This is achieved through collaborative anti-corruption education in school environments, which not only strengthens the understanding and commitment of participants to the principles of honesty and transparency, but also validates the importance of the education-based anti-corruption movement in the establishment of a sustainable anti-corruption ecosystem in Indonesia.
