Abstract

In the era of Globalization and Digitalization, it is now easier to spread information, especially religious values. Religious values are integrated in the world of education. There are so many Islamic religious sects spread across Indonesia. However, not all religious sects are recognized for their sanad and the validity of their knowledge. A lot of information about the Islamic religion that is spread cannot be recognized as true because of the lack of reference sources for knowledge and the quality of human resources for teaching staff. Likewise, not all elements of education have a valid (sahih) source of religious knowledge, and not many outputs from education have basic religious values, namely having noble morals. The attitudes, ethics, character and morals of students, especially students at university level, still pay little attention to it. All components only focus on the content and learning values in the form of numbers, without prioritizing educational goals that prioritize morals. As the Messenger of Allah said. "األخالق مكارم ألتمم بعثت إنما " which means actually I (Rasulullah saw.) was sent only to perfect noble morals. This research aims to analyze the potential for realizing Student Islamic Boarding Schools at Jambi University College as Strengthening the Nation's Character and Educational Vision. This research method uses a descriptive library research approach with data analysis techniques by collecting information from various materials such as reference books, relevant research results, articles, notes and various journals related to research. The results of the research show that the potential for realizing Student Islamic Boarding Schools at Jambi University College as Strengthening Character and National Educational Vision is high based on competent teaching backgrounds and students' need for in-depth learning of religious values with clear scientific sources under the guidance of teaching staff. who is competent in the field of Islamic religion at Jambi University.

Abstract

This research is needed to improve the quality of students' language phonology in maharah qiraah. This allows students to pronounce letters according to their letter makhrijul and minimize students' mistakes in language phonology. This research is a quantitative study with a type of correlational research and this research is survey-based using a chair. Apart from that, this research also uses preat software version 6.3.09 to analyze errors in students' language phonology. The results in this research show that there is an influence of variable X (Language Phonology based on the Book of Jazariyah) on variable Y (Maharah Qiraah students). The calculated r result of this correlation test is 0.586 > 0.312 and the sig.2-tailed value is 0.001 < 0.05. As stated in the correlation interpretation table. 0.586 is included in the fairly strong correlation category. Then the results of a simple linear regression analysis were obtained by looking at the Anova table, the results of the F count score = 19.837 with a significance level of 0.001 < 0.05, which means that there is an influence of variable X Language Phonology based on the Book of Jazariyah) on variable Y (Maharah Qiraah students). Then the correlation value by looking at the summary model table is 0.343, which means that the magnitude of the implications of using the jazzariyah book as a phonological learning medium for mastering students' maharah qiraah is 34.3 %.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has significantly transformed the landscape of higher education, including the learning process in universities. However, there remains a gap between students' ability to utilize technology productively and the demands of the digital era, which emphasize information literacy and critical thinking skills. This study aims to analyze the role of digital literacy in shaping students' critical thinking competence in the Indonesian Language Education Study Program during the era of digital transformation. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with participants comprising sixth-semester students and two lecturers teaching technology-based courses at a public university in Indonesia. Data collection instruments included in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation of digital learning activities. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis, which involved data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that digital literacy plays a crucial role in fostering students' critical thinking skills, particularly through activities involving information analysis, digital collaboration, and evaluation of online sources. Students with higher levels of digital literacy demonstrate stronger abilities to assess the credibility of information, construct logical arguments, and produce academic writing based on digital data. Furthermore, lecturers serve as facilitators who encourage reflective and ethical use of digital literacy within the learning process. This study contributes to strengthening the 21st-century learning paradigm in higher education, particularly in integrating digital literacy with the development of critical thinking. It is recommended that educational institutions provide ongoing digital literacy training for both lecturers and students to build an adaptive learning ecosystem aligned with technological advancement

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Cooperative Learning model, specifically the Think Pair Share (TPS) type, on students’ speaking skills (maharah al-kalam). This research used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, namely the pretest-posttest control group design. The sample consisted of two classes: an experimental class and a control class, with a total of 28 students. Data were collected through tests (pretest and posttest) and documentation. Data analysis included normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing using independent sample t-test. The results showed that the post-test mean score of the experimental class was higher than that of the control class. The hypothesis test result indicated a significance value of < 0.05, meaning that TPS had a significant effect on students’ speaking skills. TPS proved effective in improving students’ participation, confidence, and speaking fluency.
