Abstract

This study examines the effects of digital marketing strategy and halal innovation on the sustainability of halal micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), with Islamic economic implementation as a mediating variable and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) orientation as a moderating variable. The research was conducted among 160 halal-certified MSMEs in six regions of Central Java (Banyumas, Purbalingga, Banjarnegara, Cilacap, Kebumen, and Brebes), using a quantitative approach and Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings provide mixed empirical support. Halal innovation demonstrates a positive and statistically significant effect on MSME sustainability. In contrast, the digital marketing strategy shows a positive but statistically insignificant direct relationship. Islamic economic implementation plays a limited, marginal mediating role in the relationship between halal innovation and sustainability. Furthermore, SDGs orientation does not significantly moderate the proposed structural relationships. These results suggest that halal innovation serves as the primary driver of sustainability. In contrast, digitalization and alignment with global sustainability appear not yet strongly embedded in the strategic practices of the sampled halal MSMEs. The study contributes by clarifying the empirical boundaries of integrating digital strategies, halal innovation, and Islamic economic values within MSME sustainability frameworks in emerging economies

Abstract

The rise of social media has transformed how information spreads, creating an invaluable resource for analyzing market trends. In the creative industry, where consumer preferences shift rapidly, understanding social media sentiment is critical for businesses aiming to stay ahead of trends. Previous research on sentiment analysis has shown its potential in various fields, but its specific application in the creative industry remains underexplored. This research aims to investigate how social media sentiment analysis can predict market trends in the creative industry. By analyzing social media posts, reviews, and discussions, the study seeks to explore how positive, negative, and neutral sentiments influence market behavior and creative products’ success. The study employs a combination of data mining and sentiment analysis techniques to analyze social media content related to key creative products. Using machine learning algorithms, the research categorizes posts into sentiment categories and correlates them with market trends, such as sales and consumer behavior. A dataset consisting of social media content from multiple platforms over the past year was utilized for analysis. The results show that positive social media sentiment correlates with increased consumer engagement and sales in the creative industry, while negative sentiment predicts a decline in product success.

Abstract

Background. Artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative technology, bringing unprecedented opportunities and ethical challenges. The growing autonomy of AI systems raises questions about moral responsibility, bias, and social impact, which require a philosophical exploration to address these issues comprehensively. Purpose. This study aims to explore the ethical dimensions of AI by focusing on algorithmic bias, moral responsibility, and social impact. Through a philosophical lens, the research seeks to identify key challenges and propose frameworks to bridge the ethical gaps in AI development and implementation. Method. The research adopts a qualitative approach by analyzing 15 purposively selected academic sources. These include peer-reviewed journal articles, policy reports, and books discussing AI ethics. A conceptual framework was developed to evaluate algorithmic bias, moral responsibility, and social impact, using thematic analysis to synthesize insights from the literature. Results. The findings reveal that algorithmic bias stems from unrepresentative training data, reinforcing historical injustices. Moral responsibility in AI development becomes complex due to the involvement of multiple actors, requiring new ethical frameworks. AI's social impact, particularly on inequality and access, highlights the urgent need for regulations to mitigate negative effects. Case studies in recruitment, healthcare, and criminal justice systems illustrate the real-world implications of these issues. Conclusion. This study underscores the importance of integrating ethical considerations into AI design and deployment. Philosophical perspectives provide valuable insights into addressing algorithmic bias, defining moral responsibility, and understanding social impacts. Future research should focus on empirical studies and the development of global ethical regulations to guide AI use responsibly.
