Abstract

Abstract This study aims to improve children’s initial reading skills in group B at Cahaya Baru, Malanuza Satu village, Golewa district, Ngada District for the 2021/2022 academic year by using letter cards as media. The type of research is classroom action research. The implementation of this research activity uses the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart (Kusuma and Dwigtama, 2010 :21), with the following research steps: plan, act, observer and reflect. Subjects in the study of group B children aged 5- 6 years at TKK Cahaya Baru Malanuza Satu village, consisten of 12 children. The object of this study is language ability (start reading). Data collection methods using observation and documentation methods. Any activities carried out, is an activity related to the ability to read the beginning is to pronounce the alphabet A- Z, recognize vowels and consonants, connect letters into simple words, and imitating A- Z writing. The increase can be proven by the percentage gain which reaches 75% in cycle II. This through the media of letter cards, the initial reading ability of group B children in TKK Cahaya Baru has increased. Therfore teachers are advised to prepare more appropriate learning media to attract students’ interesy in carrying out learning activities.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the literature about the importance of inclusive education for children with special needs. This type of research is literature review research which proves that inclusive education can overcome the social problems of children with special needs. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative research method with a literature review approach. Data collection was carried out by searching for articles and books from electronic journals, namely via Google Scholar, which can strengthen the analysis results.

Abstract

Pendampingan Kegiatan literasi dan numerasi di SD Inpres Dhreisa bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca, menulis, dan berhitung siswa melalui pendekatan yang menyenangkan dan interaktif di SD Inpres Dhereisa. Metode pelaksanaan pendampingan kegiatan literasi dan numerasi mencakup persiapan dan perencanan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Hasil dari pendampingan menunjukkan peningkatan minat siswa terhadap membaca dan berhitung. Kegiatan ini meliputi berbagai lomba yaitu lomba puisi, membaca cepat menulis cerpen, membaca dan menceritakan kembali, teka teki numerasi, dan lomba cerdas cermat. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga memperkuat kerja sama antar siswa dan guru dalam mendukung pendidikan yang berkualitas. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan dapat menciptakan budaya literasi dan numerasi yang berkelanjutan di SD Inpres Dhreisa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the literacy movement through guidance and counselling towards increasing students' interest in reading at SDI Waewaru. The type of research conducted is descriptive qualitative research where the data used is through the method of direct interviews with students and teachers in the school environment and making observations and observing phenomena that occur in real life in the school environment. This research was conducted at SDI Waewaru, Aimere sub-district, Ngada Regency. This activity was carried out to all students at SDI Waewaru, with a total of 103 students. The results of the research conducted at SDI Waewaru show that guidance and counselling is very influential for students' literacy skills and interest in reading.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the numeracy skills of grade 1 students at SD Inpres Dhereisa in learning mathematics using the Smart Counting Board. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). This research consists of 2 cycles. The subjects of this research were 25 grade 1 students at SD Inpres Dhereisa, consisting of 12 male students and 13 female students. The data collection method uses tests. The data collected in this research is in the form of quantitative data, namely the main data in the research in the form of important assessment data on numeracy ability tests. The results of research on the use of smart board media for counting in mathematics learning with addition and subtraction material from 1-30 stated that it increased after using smart board media from pre-cycle to cycle 1 by 12% and obtained an average pre-cycle score of 52.4 to cycle one. -an average of 64.4 or in the sufficient category. From cycle 1 to cycle 2 there was an increase of 17.2% and obtained an average score of 81.60 or in the very good category. Meanwhile, classically there was a very significant increase, namely reaching 100% from the KKM determination of 70%. This indicates that the use of smart numeracy board media is very effective in improving numeracy skills in grade 1 students at SD Inpres Dhereisa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the social emotional development activities of children aged 4-6 years at TKN Nazaret Were. This research was conducted at TKN Nazaret Were, Golewa District, Ngada Regency which was carried out within one month. The subjects in this study were 3 class teachers, 10 children and 10 parents of students. The results showed that the development of the child's social-emotional aspects did not develop according to the child's age level. This is caused by parenting patterns that are not in accordance with the needs of children, the level of health and nutrition of children who have not been fulfilled and learning methods that tend to be passive. Therefore a good understanding is needed in applying parenting patterns and applying learning methods. Various learning methods that can stimulate children's social emotional growth are exemplary, conversing, and telling stories. In applying the method, learning media should be used that support the method so that the goals of child development can be achieved optimally.   ABSTRAK  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis aktivitas perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia 4-6 tahun di TKN Nazaret Were. Penelitian ini dilakukan di TKN Nazaret Were Kecamatan Golewa Kabupaten Ngada yang dilaksanakan dalam waktu satu bulan. Adapun subyek dalam penelitian ini yaitu guru kelas sebanyak 3 orang, 10 orang anak serta 10 orangtua peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perkembangan aspek sosial emosional anak tidak berkembang sesuai dengan tingkat usia anak. Hal ini disebapkan oleh pola pengasuhan yang tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak, tingkat Kesehatan serta gizi anak yang belum tercukupi serta metode pembelajaran yang cendrung pasif. Oleh sebab itu diperlukan pemahaman yang baik dalam menerapkan pola pengasuhan serta penerapan metode pembelajaran. Berbagai metode pembelajaran yang dapat merangsang pertumbuhan social emosional anak yaitu keteladanan, bercakap-cakap, dan bercerita. Pada penerapan metode sebaiknya digunakan media pembelajaran yang menunjang metode tersebut sehingga tujuan perkembangan anak dapat dicapai secra optimal.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the development of Moral and Religious Values ​​abilities in students at SDK Bejo through the implementation of religious values. Type of Research The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection uses interview techniques, observation and data collection (documents). The documents collected function as supporting data. The validity of the data can be seen when conducting interviews and observations, namely by checking all activities carried out by educators and students in instilling Catholic religious values ​​in classroom learning. In this research, the teacher invites students to tell stories, play character building roles, get children used to praying before and after studying, praying before and after eating, this increases children's understanding of the religious teachings they adhere to and the religious values ​​they adhere to. provide an example to students and instill characters who are honest, caring, polite, respectful, by providing motivating stories to students, at SDK Bejo. The results of this research show that cooperation between teachers and parents is very important in developing the ability of Religious and Moral values ​​in students at SDK Bejo. The value of religion is to grow faith and love for God. These values ​​are very necessary to become the basis for early childhood in carrying out activities at the next age stage. In general, there is a positive impact that has a big influence on children's religious development, namely children become more diligent in reading the Holy Bible, praying more diligently and knowing God better.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the increase in the ability to recognize letters in group B children at TKKN St. Maria Tarawali through the use of letter tree media. The type of research used was Classroom Action Research with the research subjects being Kindergarten B children with a total of 18 children. This research was carried out in two cycles, cycle one held 1 meeting and cycle two held 1 meeting. Based on cycle 1 calculations, the researchers took action with quite good results because in the BSH (developing according to expectations) and BSB (very well developed) categories, there was progress with an increase in the number of 6 children and a percentage gain of 33.3%. This shows that in the Cycle 1 actions there was a significant change. Based on table 3. above, the researcher obtained satisfactory results with a significant increase because in the BB category (not yet developed) the score was only 0, meaning that the researcher had succeeded in making improvements in cycle 2, because there were no more children who had difficulty recognizing letters. Then in terms of improvement, we have seen the BSH category (developing according to expectations), namely an increase in the average score of 84 with a percentage of 33.3%. In the BSB category (very well developed) it has obtained a score of 9 with a percentage of 50%. In this statement it can be said that there is good progress with the ease that children have received in recognizing letters with evidence that there are some children who are able to carry out activities and get 4 stars or BSB (very well developed). The results of this research show that from this two cycle research it can be concluded that using letter tree media can stimulate and improve the ability to recognize letters in children aged 4-5 years at TKKN St. Maria Tarawali.

Abstract

Kemampuan literasi membaca merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam pengembangan keterampilan kognitif siswa, namun masih banyak ditemukan rendahnya minat dan kebiasaan membaca di kalangan siswa sekolah dasar. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat gerakan literasi membaca melalui implementasi program Hari Wajib Literasi di kelas V SDI Utaseko. Program ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan motivasi siswa dalam membaca, membentuk kebiasaan membaca yang lebih baik, serta memperkuat pemahaman dan analisis teks secara kritis.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode observasi dan dokumentasi sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung terhadap aktivitas literasi siswa serta dokumentasi terkait keterlibatan mereka dalam kegiatan membaca. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, dengan pendekatan tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola peningkatan motivasi membaca, kebiasaan membaca, serta keterampilan memahami dan menganalisis teks.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program Hari Wajib Literasi memberikan dampak positif terhadap minat dan kebiasaan membaca siswa. Siswa menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi dalam membaca, memperluas wawasan mereka, serta memiliki pemahaman teks yang lebih baik. Selain itu, program ini berkontribusi dalam penguatan keterampilan berpikir kritis melalui aktivitas membaca yang dilakukan secara rutin.Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi Hari Wajib Literasi di SDI Utaseko terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi siswa. Oleh karena itu, program ini direkomendasikan untuk terus diterapkan secara berkelanjutan dengan dukungan guru dan orang tua guna membentuk budaya literasi yang lebih kuat di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Pojok baca kelas guna meningkatkan minat baca peserta didik di SMP N SatapLigalejo adalah salah satu program untuk meningkatkan minat baca peserta didik.Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) harus dioptimalkan dengan pemanfaatan pojokbaca yang berada disudut kelas maupun sekolah. Dengan adanya pojok baca,peserta didik diharapkan mampu menjadikan membaca sebagai sebuahkebiasaan sehingga membentuk karakter rasa ingin tahu dan harus akan informasiatau ilmu pengetahuan. Budaya membaca merupakan salah satu upaya dalammencerdaskan generasi bangsa. Pojok baca juga tujuan dibuat semenarikmungkin agar peserta didik merasa nyaman dan tidak merasa bosan melihatnya.Buku-buku yang ada di pojok baca juga harus bervariasi dan tidak hanya berisikancerita fiksi saja
