Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat penggunaan aplikasi Canva dan kreativitas mahasiswa PGSD dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan instrumen kuesioner skala Likert yang terdiri dari 5 pernyataan untuk variabel penggunaan Canva dan 10 pernyataan untuk variabel kreativitas. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 20 mahasiswa yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat penggunaan Canva berada pada kategori sangat tinggi dengan persentase 84,80%. Kreativitas mahasiswa juga berada pada kategori sangat tinggi dengan persentase 86,20%. Temuan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa secara optimal memanfaatkan Canva untuk membuat media pembelajaran yang menarik, variatif, dan sesuai kebutuhan materi ajar. Penggunaan Canva juga memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mengembangkan ide, mengolah elemen visual, serta menghasilkan desain media yang lebih inovatif.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the cognitive, motor, and socio-emotional development of early childhood (0–2 years) during the golden age period. The research uses a qualitative approach through observation and literature review techniques. The results show that children aged 0–2 years experience rapid development in cognitive, motor, and socio-emotional aspects. Cognitive development is characterized by the ability to recognize the environment through sensorimotor interactions, motor development is reflected in the improvement of gross and fine motor skills, while socio-emotional development is indicated by children’s responses to their environment and interactions with others. Furthermore, appropriate stimulation from the environment, especially from parents, plays a crucial role in supporting optimal child development. Without adequate stimulation, children may experience developmental delays. Therefore, understanding the golden age period is essential, particularly for parents and prospective educators, to provide appropriate and optimal stimulation for early childhood development.

Abstract

Advances in digital technology have spurred the use of interactive media in more innovative and student-centered learning; however, its application in the teaching of traditional music in elementary schools remains suboptimal. This study aims to analyze the implementation of interactive media and its impact on the engagement and understanding of fourth-grade students. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using a literature review method, with data sources consisting of scientific literature from 2020–2026 analyzed using content analysis techniques. The results indicate that interactive media such as audiovisual materials, animations, and digital applications can enhance student engagement, comprehension, and motivation, as well as create a more engaging and meaningful learning environment. In conclusion, interactive media play a crucial role in improving the quality of traditional music education in elementary schools.

Abstract

Mathematical representation ability is an essential skill that students need to develop in mathematics learning, as it helps them understand, communicate, and solve mathematical problems through various forms of representation. However, students’ mathematical representation ability at the elementary school level still requires further investigation, particularly in learning integers. This study aimed to analyze the mathematical representation abilities of second-grade elementary school students in learning integers through a case study approach. The research employed a descriptive qualitative design using a case study method. The participants consisted of five second-grade elementary school students selected through convenience sampling. Data were collected through written tests, task- based in-depth interviews, documentation, and field notes. The data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that students’ mathematical representation abilities varied across indicators. Visual representation was the most dominant indicator, as students were able to use pictures and object grouping to understand multiplication as repeated addition. In symbolic representation, most students were able to translate problems into appropriate mathematical operations, although some still relied on repeated addition before expressing multiplication symbols. Meanwhile, verbal representation required further improvement because not all students were able to explain their problem-solving processes and mathematical reasoning comprehensively. Therefore, the mathematical representation abilities of second-grade elementary school students were generally well developed, particularly in visual and symbolic representations, although verbal representation still needs further enhancement.
