Abstract

The college is an educational institution that aims to create scientist environmentally sensitive and able to solve the problems that arise in society and have a responsibility to produce graduates who are professionals so that they can support and handle the problems that arise in the community. In order to realize the objective and responsibility, each college must carry out activities Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN). KKN is a form of community service, which is special, because there is an element in the Tri Dharma of Universities, namely: Education and Teaching, Research, Service society. The rapid development of science and technology and the progress of communication tools. The need for a renewal of KKN administrative system, called e-KK. These features are provided runs in accordance with has been drafted, with the SIAKAD data as a reference database. The purpose of the development of e-KKN is to accommodate the needs of the KKN administrative process neat for processing data quickly, accurately, and effectively at the Islamic University of  Lamongan. In the design, e-KKN has several features that have been prepared in accordance groove mechanism of opening the registration portal, process list, the small groups at random, until data printing user.

Abstract

Laptop adalah komputer pribadi yang kecil dan ringan, sehingga portabel. Dengan banyaknya brand dan spesifikasi yang ada saat ini, calon pembeli sering kebingungan memilih laptop yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan mereka. Kebanyakan orang lebih familiar dengan aplikasi yang digunakan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut dengan mengembangkan sistem rekomendasi laptop. Sistem ini akan membantu calon pembeli memilih laptop yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan spesifikasi minimum aplikasi yang akan digunakan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Content Based Filtering, yang memberikan rekomendasi berdasarkan profil preferensi pengguna dan deskripsi item. Algoritma yang diterapkan adalah Euclidean Distance dan Cosine Similarity. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Euclidean Distance dapat merekomendasikan laptop berdasarkan spesifikasi yang paling mendekati kebutuhan aplikasi, sementara Cosine Similarity dapat memberikan rekomendasi laptop dengan spesifikasi serupa saat melihat detail dari hasil rekomendasi Euclidean Distance. Pengujian dengan 100 kali uji data menghasilkan rata-rata precision sebesar 98.4% pada Cosine Similarity.

Abstract

Penanganan pengaduan yang efektif dan efisien di lingkungan sekolah sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan dan kepuasan siswa serta staf. Penelitian ini mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi web yang menggunakan algoritma K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) untuk mengklasifikasikan layanan pengaduan di SMK NU 2 Kedungpring Lamongan. Sistem ini dirancang untuk mengelompokkan dan mengklasifikasikan pengaduan dengan nilai k=3, yang membantu sekolah dalam mengidentifikasi masalah yang sering terjadi dan mengambil tindakan yang tepat. Pengujian dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi akurasi model KNN dalam mengklasifikasikan pengaduan baru berdasarkan data pelatihan yang telah dikelompokkan. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini dapat meningkatkan efisiensi penanganan pengaduan serta memberikan wawasan yang lebih baik kepada pihak sekolah mengenai isu-isu yang perlu diperhatikan. Dengan sistem ini, diharapkan kualitas layanan di SMK NU 2 Kedungpring Lamongan dapat meningkat secara signifikan.

Abstract

The spread of fake news (hoaxes) on the internet is increasingly widespread, along with the increasing use of the internet in Indonesia. To detect hoaxes automatically, this study proposes a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model based on data from the Detik.com and TurnBackHoax.id sites. The data includes various categories such as politics, religion, and technology. The model was developed through several optimization stages: tokenization and text padding, utilization of pre-trained Word2Vec as embedding weights, stratified data division, handling class imbalance with class weights, and implementing a multilevel CNN architecture with dropout. Training was carried out using the Adam optimizer with a small learning rate and an early stopping technique. The evaluation results showed that the proposed model achieved an accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score of 96%, with the fastest training time of 100.42 seconds. The model was also evaluated with the ROC_AUC model, with a score of 98.91%. This performance outperformed the CNN-1D and Augmentasi-CNN models. This approach has proven to be effective and efficient in detecting Indonesian hoax news.

Abstract

Students' majors in Vocational High Schools (SMK) are very important in determining the direction of their education and career, but the process carried out so far is often subjective and does not consider academic grades and interests objectively. To overcome this, this study develops a website-based major recommendation system at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Lamongan using the Naive Bayes algorithm that is able to provide accurate major recommendations based on student data. This system is designed using a structured Waterfall Model software development method, starting from needs analysis, design, implementation, to testing. The Naive Bayes algorithm was chosen because of its simplicity and ability to work with relatively small datasets, such as new student data at the school. Of the total 675 student data collected, 60% or 405 data were used as training data to train the Naive Bayes algorithm, while the remaining 40% or 270 data were used as test data to measure the accuracy level of the recommendation system. The test results show that the system achieves an average accuracy of 90.91%, with precision above 0.73 for each major, recall above 0.80 except for the Office Management major which reaches 0.75, and an average F1 score of 81.72%. These findings indicate that the website-based major recommendation system with the Naive Bayes algorithm is effective and can help students determine majors that suit their potential and interests objectively and accurately, thus supporting a more precise and targeted major selection process.

Abstract

Arabic–Indonesian language learners often face challenges in understanding the contextual meaning of texts due to differences in morphological and syntactic structures between the two languages. To address this, this study proposes the development of a web-based translanguaging system integrated with Natural Language Processing (NLP) to help users understand and translate texts more meaningfully. This system was developed using the Waterfall model with stages of requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The implemented NLP module includes tokenization, part-of-speech tagging, and sentence structure analysis to produce translations that consider context, not just literal word equivalents. The implementation results show that the system is able to improve user comprehension of Arabic–Indonesian texts with a simple and accessible interface. Furthermore, the translation history feature supports continuous self-learning. Although the system still has limitations in handling idiomatic text and complex sentence structures, the NLP integration has proven effective in improving the quality of translanguaging. This research contributes to the development of bilingual learning technology and can be further developed using deep learning models such as BERT or mBERT to improve semantic and contextual accuracy.

Abstract

AbstrakKegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan dan mengimplementasikan teknologi translanguaging berbasis web sebagai sarana pendukung peningkatan literasi pembelajaran Bahasa Arab-Indonesia bagi siswa. Media pembelajaran yang tersedia sebelumnya masih terbatas dan belum mampu mengintegrasikan bahasa Arab dan bahasa Indonesia dalam satu platform, sehingga siswa mengalami kesulitan memahami materi secara lebih kontekstual. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Babat, dengan melibatkan guru Bahasa Arab dan siswa sebagai peserta uji coba. Proses pengabdian dilakukan melalui analisis kebutuhan, perancangan aplikasi, pengembangan berbasis web, dan uji coba lapangan. Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran angket kepuasan serta observasi langsung terhadap aktivitas belajar mengajar. Tingkat kepuasan guru dan siswa diukur menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala penilaian terhadap kemudahan penggunaan, tampilan, dan manfaat aplikasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Aplikasi translanguaging ini dilengkapi fitur terjemahan kontekstual dua arah, kamus interaktif, dan latihan pemahaman teks yang membantu siswa meningkatkan literasi bahasa serta memudahkan guru dalam penyampaian materi.. Hasil uji menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan guru sebesar 87% dan siswa sebesar 90%, yang menandakan aplikasi ini diterima dengan baik. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa teknologi translanguaging berbasis web efektif mendukung literasi pembelajaran Bahasa Arab-Indonesia, dengan ruang lingkup yang masih dapat diperluas pada jenjang pendidikan lain agar manfaatnya semakin luas. Kata kunci: translanguaging; literasi; berbasis web; bahasa Arab-Indonesia; teknologi pembelajaran. AbstractThis community service activity aims to introduce and implement web-based translanguaging technology as a means of supporting students' Arabic-Indonesian language learning literacy. Previously available learning media were limited and unable to integrate Arabic and Indonesian into a single platform, resulting in students having difficulty understanding the material more contextually. This activity was carried out at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Babat, involving Arabic language teachers and students as trial participants. The community service process was carried out through needs analysis, application design, web-based development, and field trials. Data were obtained through the distribution of satisfaction questionnaires and direct observation of teaching and learning activities. Teacher and student satisfaction levels were measured using questionnaires with a rating scale for ease of use, appearance, and the application's usefulness in the learning process. This translanguaging application is equipped with a two-way contextual translation feature, an interactive dictionary, and text comprehension exercises that help students improve language literacy and facilitate teachers in delivering material. The test results showed a teacher satisfaction level of 87% and a student satisfaction level of 90%, indicating that the application was well received. Overall, this activity proves that web-based translanguaging technology effectively supports Arabic-Indonesian language learning literacy, with a scope that can still be covered at other levels of education so that its benefits are even broader. Keywords: translanguaging; literacy; web-based; Arabic-Indonesian; learning technology.
