Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan menulis siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Kendari dan untuk mengetahui unsur-unsur yang mempengaruhi kemampuan siswa dalam belajar membuat teks eksplanasi. Berdasarkan temuan analisis data, siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Kendari memiliki proporsi kemampuan (50,76%) yang menunjukkan sering tidak mampu menyusun teks eksplanasi. Berikut proporsi masing-masing aspek: Teks yang memberikan penjelasan (mengidentifikasi fenomena) 98,46% Teks penjelasan 91,28% untuk prosedur acara, dan 91,28% untuk ulasan. Konjungsi kausalitas dan konjungsi temporal membentuk 30,76% dari kosakata yang digunakan dalam teks eksplanasi, pronomina fenomena mencapai 35,38%, dan istilah penjelasan teknis mencapai 29,23%. Suasana kondusif, tersedianya ruang kelas yang menyenangkan, perpustakaan, buku pelajaran, dan sumber belajar lainnya merupakan unsur yang mempengaruhi kemampuan siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Kendari dalam membuat teks eksplanasi.

Abstract

Penggunaan Metode Group Investigation untuk Meningkatkan Hasil.Belajar Menulis Rangkuman Teks Laporan Hasil Observasi Siswa Kelas VII 1 SMP Negeri 3 Kusambi menjadi judul penelitian ini. Pertanyaan yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah dengan menggunakan pendekatan investigasi kelompok dapat memberikan hasil belajar yang lebih baik bagi siswa kelas VII 1 SMP Negeri 3 Kusambi ketika menulis teks ringkasan laporan hasil observasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII 1 SMP Negeri 3 Kusambi pada saat menulis teks ringkasan laporan observasi. Temuan observasi aktivitas instruktur dan siswa, serta penilaian siswa yang menulis teks ringkasan observasi, dijadikan dasar data penelitian ini. Dalam penelitian ini, terdapat dua metode pengumpulan data yang berbeda: metode tes dan metode non tes. Dalam penelitian ini data observasi dianalisis secara kualitatif, sedangkan data penilaian belajar siswa dianalisis secara kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, hasil belajar siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II meningkat secara signifikan. Hanya tujuh siswa atau 36,84% dari 19 siswa yang tuntas pada ujian tindakan siklus I yang mempunyai nilai KKM 70 atau lebih. Berdasarkan hasil ujian tindakan siklus II, dari 19 siswa yang mengikuti, 18 siswa atau 94,73% kelas mempunyai nilai KKM kurang dari 70.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas guru dan siswa selama di kelas, serta hasil belajar siswa kelas XII IPA 3 SMA Negeri 8 Kendari dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran merancang teks editorial dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write (TTW). Data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif merupakan jenis data dalam penelitian ini. Lembar observasi digunakan untuk memperoleh data kualitatif, tes hasil belajaa digunakan untuk memproleh data kuantitatif.  Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TTW dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XII IPA 3 SMA Negeri 8 Kendari pada materi merancang teks editorial. 80% aktivitas guru pada siklus I, 90% pada siklus II. 77% aktivitas siswa pada siklus I, 88% pada siklus II. Dari segi hasil, ketuntasan belajar siswa secara klasikal mencapai 60% pada siklus I dan meningkat menjadi 87% pada siklus II.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji aspek citraan dalam novel Cinta Suci Zahrana karya Habiburrahman El Shirazy dan Implementasinya Pada Pembelajaran Sastra di SMA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber datanya pada penelitian yaitu Novel Cinta Suci Zahrana karya Habiburrahman El Shirazy dan data berupa kata, kalimat, paragraf, dan dialog dalam teks yang berisi citraan dalam Novel Cinta Suci Zahrana karya Habiburrahman El Shirazy. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan teknik baca catat. Data yang berupa novel/teks diklarifikasi berdasarkan unsur-unsur citraan sesuai dengan kajian stilistika dalam novel Cinta Suci Zahrana karya Habiburrahman El Shirazy. Hasil penelitian terhadap aspek citraan dalam novel Cinta Suci Zahrana dengan kajian stilistika yakni (1) Citraan penglihatan sejumlah 234, (2) Citraan pendengaran sejumlah 53, (3) Citraan perabaan sejumlah 30, (4) Citraan penciuman sejumlah 5, (5) Citraan gerak sejumlah 61, (6) Citraan pencecapan sejumlah 18, dan (7) Citraan intelektual sejumlah 40. Implementasi aspek citraan sebagai materi ajar di SMA bertujuan untuk mencapai kompetensi pembelajaran dengan kompetensi dasar "memahami, membandingkan, menganalisis, mengevaluasi, mengimpretasi, memproduksi, menyunting, mengabstraksi, danmengonversi struktur teks, baik dalam gendre sastra maupun nonsastra, serta unsur kebahasaan dan fungsi sosial baik secara lisan maupun tulisan". Materi ajar disajikan dalam bentuk modul pembelajaran.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the values of the characters' struggles and reveal the story in the novel Dompet Ayah Shoes Ibu by J.S Khairen. The benefit of this research is that it provides readers with an understanding to always be active in reading and understanding the values of struggle displayed in literary works. The data used in this research is the novel Dompet Ayah Shoes Ibu by J.S Khaien. The data source in this research is the novel Dompet Ayah Shoes Ibu by J.S Khairen. The data collection technique in this research uses a sociological approach to literary works, which is to question the content and objectives as well as things implied in the literary work itself and is related to social problems and what the purpose or message is to be conveyed. The results of this research describe (1) the value of being willing to sacrifice (2) the value of unity (3) the value of respect (4) the value of cooperation (5) the value of patience and the spirit of never giving up. Abstract

The problem of this research is what moral values ​​are contained in the novel Hijrah Terindah by Indahnursf and Jaymes R? The aim of this research is to describe and analyze the moral values ​​in the novel Hijrah Terindah by Indahnursf and Jaymes R. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods, and the data used are texts, words and sentences related to moral values ​​sourced from the novel The Most Hijrah Terindah by Indahnursf and Jaymes R, published by Aksara Plus, Jakarta, 2020 with 206 pages. The data collection technique for this research is note-taking and critical reading techniques which are carried out by reading and recording quotations which relates to the moral values ​​contained in the novel Hijrah Terindah by Indahnursf and Jaymes R. The data analysis technique uses a moral approach. The results of the analysis show that man's relationship with God is in the form of; feelings of sin against God, praying or begging God, recognizing the greatness of God, religious feelings, and obedient worship. Moral values ​​in human relations with themselves are in the form of; self-existence, fear, self-esteem, and patience. Moral values ​​in human relations with humans in the social sphere are in the form of; think positively, help others, help the weak selflessly, and get to know each other. Moral values ​​in human relations with nature are in the form of; utilization of natural resources.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the forms of politeness maxims in the social interactions of eleventh-grade students at Pondok Tahfidz Pesantren Ummul Qurra’ Kendari. This research is a field study, and the method used is a descriptive method aimed at providing a detailed and in-depth description of the research findings. The data used in this study consists of students' utterances during social interactions in the environment of Pondok Tahfidz Pesantren Ummul Qurra’ Kendari, specifically in speech situations. Data collection methods include observation and conversation techniques, while data collection techniques consist of recording and note-taking. The data analysis technique employed is a sociopragmatic approach, involving stages such as data transcription, data classification, data interpretation, and data analysis. The research findings indicate that the language politeness at Pondok Tahfidz Pesantren Ummul Qurra' Kendari applies six politeness maxims: (1) the tact maxim, (2) the generosity maxim, (3) the approbation maxim, (4) the modesty maxim, (5) the agreement maxim, and (6) the sympathy maxim. These maxims are evident in the students' interactions and reflect the application of politeness principles in the pesantren environment.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the personality of the main character in Amin Maalouf's novel The 100th Name of God. This study uses the library research method and is a descriptive qualitative study. The data used in this study is written data in the form of words and sentences related to the personality aspects of the main character in Amin Maalouf's novel The 100th Name of God, published in 2021. This study shows that the personality aspects possessed by the main character based on Jung's theory are 1) consciousness (unconsciousness), 2) personal unconscious, 3) collective unconscious, and 4) personality type, which is a combination of attitudes and functions that operate in the conscious and unconscious, namely introversion-sensing and introversion-feeling. This study concludes that there are five (5) personality aspects possessed by the main character in Amin Maalouf's novel The Hundredth Name. The five (5) personality aspects are 1) consciousness (consciousness), 2) personal unconsciousness (personal unconscious), 3) collective unconsciousness (collective unconscious) operating in the shadow, and 4) personality types operating in sensation-intuition and feeling-intuition.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of character conflict in the novel Cinta Anak Karaeng by Ahmad Sahide. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method with a literary psychology approach. The data were obtained through library research, with the novel serving as the primary data source and supported by relevant scholarly articles and journals. Data collection was conducted using close reading and note-taking techniques, while data analysis involved data reduction, classification, interpretation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that character conflict in the novel consists of internal and external conflicts. Internal conflicts are experienced mainly by the characters Karaeng Asmi and Daro in the form of psychological struggles, emotional dilemmas, fear, and anxiety caused by contradictions between personal desires and rigid traditional norms. External conflicts arise from confrontation between individual characters and family authority as well as social traditions that enforce caste-based stratification. The study reveals that internal and external conflicts are closely interconnected, with social pressure intensifying psychological turmoil. These conflicts reflect broader socio-cultural realities within the Karaeng community and demonstrate how tradition functions as both cultural identity and an instrument of social control. This study contributes to Indonesian literary studies by highlighting the significance of character conflict in novels rooted in local cultural contexts.
