Abstract

Pembelajaran sains perlu dikaitkan dengan budaya. Upaya tersebut dimulai dengan mengkaji etnosains pada batik Tulungagung sebagai penanaman nilai karakter dan pengetahuan konsep IPA. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan penanaman nilai karakter yang dikorelasikan dengan etnosains batik Tulungagung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengkaji nilai karakter yang terdapat dalam batik Tulungagung baik dalam segi motif, warna maupun proses pembuatannya serta mengkorelasikan dengan etnosains batik. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, metode pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi di UD Batik Satrio Manah Tulungagung serta studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa batik pada proses pembuatannya memiliki keterkaitan dengan etnosains, etnobiologi yaitu flora dan fauna, etnokimia pada pewarnaan terkait dengan konsentasi zat, sedangkan pada etnofisika yaitu perubahan wujud dari padat ke cair. Sedangkan dari segi batik tulis memberikan nilai karakter yaitu kerja keras dan ulet, batik cap memberikan nilai karakter yaitu teliti, cermat dan kreatif, motif flora dan fauna memuat nilai karakter peduli terhadap lingkungan khususnya pada flora dan fauna, motif kendang dan Wayang Krisna yang memuat nilai karakter jujur, konsisten, adil, bijaksana. Berdasarkan konsep etnosains yang dapat diambil yaitu pada pewarnaan batik. Nilai karakter tersebut dapat ditanamkan melalui pembelajaran etnosains sebagai bentuk upaya memberikan edukasi pada generasi muda untuk menyongsong Indonesia Emas 2045.

Abstract

Islamic higher education in Indonesia, particularly UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung and UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, faces challenges in increasing student interest and educational quality amidst increasingly fierce competition. This study aims to analyze effective digital marketing strategies to strengthen the attractiveness of both institutions through a strategic management approach based on SWOT analysis. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with leaders, marketing staff, and lecturers at both campuses, as well as focus group discussions (FGDs) with students and alumni. The results reveal that UIN Malang has a more structured digital marketing system with a professional team and adequate infrastructure, while UIN Tulungagung is still in the capacity development stage. The optimal implementation of the 4P digital marketing mix can increase campus visibility, engagement, and student enrollment. However, increased human resource and technology capacity as well as internal coordination are needed for better effectiveness, especially for UIN Tulungagung. These findings provide a strategic contribution to the development of adaptive digital marketing management in Islamic universities, while strengthening the position of both campuses in the national higher education competition

Abstract

Abstract: State Islamic Religious Colleges (PTKIN) face major challenges in improving the quality of education amidst the dynamics of regulations, technological developments, and the demands of globalization. This study aims to analyze the implementation of quality management at PTKIN, identify the challenges faced, and formulate relevant and applicable policy solutions. The method used is a systematic literature review (SLR) by examining selected scientific articles and documents for the 2020– 2025 period that discuss quality management, challenges, and policies at PTKIN. The results of the study show that the implementation of quality management at PTKIN is influenced by internal factors such as limited human resources, infrastructure, and quality culture, as well as external factors in the form of policy changes and global competition. The discussion found that effective solutions that can be adopted include strengthening human resource training, optimizing the use of information technology, internalizing a quality culture, and strategic collaboration with various parties to support the sustainability of education quality. In conclusion, the success of the implementation of quality management at PTKIN is highly dependent on the synergy between strengthening internal policies, developing human resources, and adapting to external changes in order to improve the competitiveness and quality of graduates. Keywords: Quality Management, PTKIN, Challenges, Policy Solutions, Systematic Literature Review Abstrak: Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri (PTKIN) menghadapi tantangan besar dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di tengah dinamika regulasi, perkembangan teknologi, dan tuntutan globalisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi manajemen mutu di PTKIN, mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi, serta merumuskan solusi kebijakan yang relevan dan aplikatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah systematic literature review (SLR) dengan menelaah artikel dan dokumen ilmiah terpilih periode 2020–2025 yang membahas manajemen mutu, tantangan, dan kebijakan di PTKIN. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi manajemen mutu di PTKIN dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal seperti keterbatasan SDM, infrastruktur, dan budaya mutu, serta faktor eksternal berupa perubahan kebijakan dan persaingan global. Pembahasan menemukan bahwa solusi efektif yang dapat diadopsi meliputi penguatan pelatihan SDM, optimalisasi pemanfaatan teknologi informasi, internalisasi budaya mutu, serta kolaborasi strategis dengan berbagai pihak untuk mendukung keberlanjutan mutu pendidikan. Kesimpulannya, keberhasilan implementasi manajemen mutu di PTKIN sangat bergantung pada sinergi antara penguatan kebijakan internal, pengembangan SDM, dan adaptasi terhadap perubahan eksternal guna meningkatkan daya saing dan kualitas lulusan. Abstract

Al-Kamal Integrated Islamic Boarding School in Blitar plays a strategic role in integrating religious and general education to produce a competitive Muslim generation in the global era. However, challenges such as limited modern facilities and funding become obstacles in improving the quality of education. This study aims to analyze the implementation of strategic management based on non-formal schools in improving the quality of Islamic education in the Islamic boarding school. A qualitative approach with a case study method was used, involving in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The results of the study indicate that the Islamic boarding school has strengths in the form of a strong vision and mission, strategic location, flexible flagship programs, and adequate facilities. However, weaknesses such as dependence on student tuition fees and limited technological facilities hinder further development. Great opportunities such as government support and the increasing trend of public interest in Islamic education provide space for the Islamic boarding school to continue to develop. Threats from competition with other Islamic boarding schools and the challenges of globalization demand more significant innovation. In conclusion, the implementation of strategic management at Al-Kamal Integrated Islamic Boarding School is effective in improving the quality of education by optimizing strengths and opportunities, although improvements are needed in diversifying funding, increasing technological facilities, and adapting the curriculum based on religious and general integration. This study recommends strengthening collaboration with the government, NGOs, and the private sector to support the sustainability of education that is more inclusive and relevant to the demands of the times

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi di era digital telah mengubah lanskap pendidikan tinggi secara fundamental, menuntut perguruan tinggi untuk bertransformasi dalam mengelola dan memberikan layanan kepada stakeholder-nya. UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung sebagai perguruan tinggi keagamaan Islam negeri menghadapi tantangan dalam menyeimbangkan peran sebagai institusi pendidikan agama sekaligus institusi modern yang responsif terhadap perkembangan teknologi. Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) berbasis digital memiliki peran strategis dalam mengotomatisasi proses administrasi, mengurangi kesalahan pengelolaan data, mempercepat pengolahan informasi, dan mendukung pengambilan keputusan berbasis data real-time. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis optimalisasi pengimplementasian sistem informasi akademik berbasis digital, tingkat kepuasan pengguna, serta merumuskan strategi pengembangan sistem di UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung berhasil mengimplementasikan SIM terintegrasi melalui arsitektur Single Sign-On (SSO) untuk 20.000 mahasiswa aktif, 489 dosen, dan 49 program studi. Sistem meningkatkan kecepatan proses administrasi 60% dengan kepuasan pengguna mencapai 85,6%. Layanan mencakup pengisian KRS, registrasi, pengajuan cuti, dan repository institusi yang dapat diakses 24/7. Transisi dari SmartCampus ke SIAKAD pada 2025 meningkatkan stabilitas dan skalabilitas sistem dengan menerapkan enkripsi SSL/TLS, backup rutin, dan audit logging. Tantangan yang dihadapi meliputi resistensi pengguna, kompleksitas migrasi data, keterbatasan literasi digital, dan kebutuhan pelatihan berkelanjutan untuk mendukung visi smart campus yang kompetitif.

Abstract

Improving madrasah quality requires integrated governance because institutional growth, educational services, and student achievement do not automatically develop at the same pace. This study examined integrative quality management at MTsN 7 Tulungagung through four key dimensions: educational facilities and infrastructure, administrative services, the capacity of teachers and education personnel, and student development. A descriptive qualitative case-study design was employed. Data were collected in 2025 through field observations, semi-structured interviews, and analysis of institutional documents, and were analyzed using data condensation, data display, conclusion drawing, and source-and-technique triangulation. The findings showed that the madrasah had strong institutional capital, including increasing public demand, Adiwiyata practices, research-madrasah status, religious habituation, and achievements at national and international competitions. However, the growth from 516 students in 2012/2013 to 924 students in 2024/2025 was not fully matched by support capacity: nine classrooms required repair, science and language laboratories were unavailable, most computers required maintenance or replacement, administrative work remained partly fragmented, and research and competition programs required additional specialist support and sustainable financing. The study concluded that the quality of the madrasah was produced by the interaction of responsive services, committed personnel, religious-environmental culture, and student-development programs, but its sustainability depended on data-based planning, continuous professional development, integrated administration, and prioritized facility investment.
