Abstract

Tulisan ini mengkaji tentang Tradisi Abbarazanji pada Masyarakat Desa Datara sebagai salah satu bentuk tradisi Islam yang masih bertahan hingga sekarang ini. Bagi masyarakat Datara, abbarazanji merupakan tradisi yang mampu menjaga dan melestarikan semangat keagamaan di kampong tersebut. Terdapat beberapa hikmah dan makna yang terdapat dalam pelaksanaan tradisi abbarazanji antara lain adalah memperkukuh tali persaudaraan (silaturahmi) sesam warga, dan membumikan nilai-nilai islam, menularkan tradisi tersebut kepada generasi pelanjut sehingga senantiasa membentuk kehidupan bermasyarakat yang berasas pada nilai-nilai akhlak yang islami. Tradisi abbarazanji merupakan bentuk tradisi yang mengutamakan pada upaya memberikan pemahaman pada generasi muda dalam bentuk mewariskan akhlak-akhlak baik kepada genersai muda. Tradisi abbarazanji tidak hanya dilaksanakan setiap bulan maulid saja, tetapi juga dilaksanakan pada acara-acara sakral dalam keluarga, seperti acara kawinan, masuk rumah, a’mata-mata benteng dan lain-lain.

Abstract

Speaking skill is one of four language skills include listening, reading, and writing. Speaking is very important for the existence of socio and culture. Brainstorming method is one method that is used to arrange idea by revealing many ideas from the topic given. It is also used both before speaking or at the time of speaking. Brainstorming method can be done in group or individual. If it is in group, someone has to become a minute notes and has to write down the ideas revealed. On this case, students do not need to worry about the grammar, spelling, and so forth, even about the truth of members’ explanation. The implementation of brainstorming method in improving speaking skill has main advantage through process. The learning process by implementing brainstorming method can support students to think actively, to reveals idea, and stimulate students to express their ideas.

Abstract

Interpretation of visiting Mbah Priuk grave. This research used descriptive analysis in etnographe methode. This research result has found that visiting grave is a tradition is growth as naturally whether through tradition in every families and then tradition as generally. When relationship nowdays with human life is cannot be separated with habitual area, tradition, culture and truth. Visiting grave is part of the tradition that be continued has been built by people before them. About the meaning and rules of visiting grave, every group’s societies own by themselves. But Mbah Priuk grave has been found the same rules of visiting grave without they took their tradition of visiting that make habitual in every vellages. There are religion values found  strong in themselves that all expulsions, sacrifices whether materials and non-materials are found will get the blessing from Allah becouse they have made the good thing.

Abstract

The aims of this research is to describe and to known the impact of Islamic cultural transformation in South Sulawesi. According to the theory of Islamic cultural transformation, this reasearch will be split in two sides. Firstly, this reasearch will talking about Islamic cultural transformation in education side. This transformation are marked by appearing of the new tradition in educational management, such as pesantren kilat, Anak Saleh Education Studio (SPAS) and also pesantren educational institute. Secondly, this reasearch is talking about Islamic cultural transformation in economic side. It happened, when the Islamic culture came to Indonesia, and brought a new way of trading. Of course, the new way of trading was embraced by the Islamic value which had made a lot of profit to the local traders. In conclusion, Islamic cultural transformation in South Sulawesi had given a positive impact to the progress of education, economic and local wisdom.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research (Classroom Action Research) which aims to improve students' Indonesian learning outcomes through learning with a process skills approach. The subjects of this study were students of class X-3 SMA Negeri 4 Palopo with 40 students, 12 male students, and 28 female students. Data collection was carried out using learning outcomes tests and observation techniques, and journals. The author made the research instrument in collaboration with a class X Indonesian language teacher at SMA Negeri 4 Palopo. The collected data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results achieved after applying the process skills approach in learning are: (1) In the first Cycle, the average score of student mastery is 14.71, (2) In the second Cycle, the average score of student mastery was 65.24; (3) There was an increase in student mastery from Cycle I to cycle II of 50.53; (4) The process skills approach can make students more active and enjoy learning Indonesian. From the results of the research above, it can be concluded that the process skills approach can improve the learning outcomes of Indonesian students in class X-3 SMA Negeri 4 Palopo.

Abstract

Implementation of religious development and local wisdom values ​​through community empowerment in Pujananting District. The purpose of this service is to provide assistance, empower the community in the implementation of religious development and the values ​​of local wisdom in Pujananting District. This community service was carried out for six weeks. The service team carried out the preparation of activities in the form of initial actions, namely preparing a community empowerment plan in the implementation of religious values ​​for six days by means of FGD (Focus Grouf Discussion). This community service activity has been successfully implemented and has received a very good response from the community. This is based on the fact that 73.3% of the 30 people sampled gave the opinion that community empowerment activities had an influence on the mastery of the religious field. Meanwhile, only 8 people or 26.7% stated that community empowerment had no effect on increasing religious knowledge obtained through community empowerment.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to describe the use of the mind mapping model in the skills of writing historical and cultural narratives for students in semester VI AK 3-4, Department of Islamic History and Culture, UIN Alauddin Makassar. The results of the research obtained are that the use of the mind mapping model can improve students' skills in writing historical and cultural narratives as described below: The results of implementing learning using the mind mapping model obtained in implementing this learning are: in cycle one, the content of ideas there is a very high value gain. good 5 percent while in the second cycle the student achievement reached 55 percent in the very good category. The content organization achieved by students in the first cycle was 13 percent in the very good category while in the second cycle it reached 66 percent in the very good category. Meanwhile, the results of the test for the ability to choose words or diction in the very good category in cycle one were 10.5 percent, while in cycle two it increased to 71 percent which received the very good category. Then the results of the structure and vocabulary choice test in writing historical and cultural narratives in cycle one reached 18.42 percent and in cycle two it rose to 76 percent in the very good category, the results of the spelling and grammar test in cycle one were in the very good category, there was a gain of 13 percent while in cycle two it rose to 71 percent. Apart from that, the results of this research show that the use of the mind mapping model can improve the writing skills of sixth semester students of the Islamic History and Culture Study Program, Faculty of Adab and Humanities, UIN Alauddin Makassar in writing historical and cultural narrative paragraphs. Abstract

This research examines the Marriage Tradition in the Tanete Village, Tompobulu Subdistrict, Gowa Regency. The problem in this research is how the marriage tradition is conducted in the Tanete Village community, Tompobulu Subdistrict, Gowa Regency. The type of research used in this study is field research or field research using a descriptive research method. The data sources for this research were obtained from informants through interviews and direct observations. The data in this research include interview results and written data obtained through observations, field notes, interviews, and documentation. The data processing and analysis techniques are carried out through three stages: identifying data, grouping data, and describing data. The research findings are as follows: firstly, the marriage tradition in the Tanete Village community, Tompobulu Subdistrict, Gowa Regency, is carried out with a sequence of Abboya (proposal), the tradition of Abboya in the Makassar community, especially in Tanete village, is one of the traditions in marriage that needs to be preserved because this tradition is a form of diversity in community life. Appatantu Allo (determining the wedding day), in the Tanete Village community, Tompobulu Subdistrict, Appattantu Allo is a fundamental part of the marriage tradition carried out before the marriage contract process takes place because it is related to choosing an auspicious day, which holds special significance according to the local community's perspective.

Abstract

This research aims to know the tradition of reading Lontara Kutika related to the appreciation of Q.S. Al-Isra:12 in Datara village, Tompobulu district, Gowa regency. This research used descriptive qualitative research using an anthropological approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results obtained in the study were the tradition of reading Lontara Kutika was carried out to determine a good time. A good time is applied to every agricultural activity starting from preparation before going to the fields and gardens to work on up to the preparation of the first harvest. The tradition of reading Lontara Kutika is also carried out by the people if they want to determine the time of weddings, banquets and pilgrimage rituals. The timing of the wedding ceremony begins with the timing of the proposal, marriage and the wedding banquet. Meanwhile, determining the good time through the tradition of reading Lontara Kutika at the ritual of the Hajj banquet is carried out in the order of determining when the right time is for the rituals, and determining the time of the rituals for the Hajj. Appreciating Q.S al-Isra: 12 in reading Lontara Kutika in the community of Datara village is a useful activity and is classified as an act that is separated from who did it, because what someone does will be obtained in the future (counted as a reward). The conclusion of the research is that the tradition of reading Lontara Kutika in Datara village community is carried out for the purpose of determining good timing, the texts are read as a reference source of knowledge in determining good timing in various activities of daily life. الملخص تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحديد تقليد قراءة Lontara Kutika فيما يتعلق بتقدير Q. آية الأسرة: 12 في تجمع قرية داتارا ، ناحية تومبوبولو ، منطقة جوا. نوع البحث المستخدم في هذا البحث هو بحث نوعي وصفي باستخدام منهج أنثروبولوجي. تقنيات جمع البيانات المستخدمة هي المراقبة والمقابلات والتوثيق. النتائج التي تم الحصول عليها في الدراسة هي تقليد قراءة Lontara Kutika لتحديد الأوقات الجيدة. يتم تطبيق التوقيت المناسب على كل نشاط زراعي بدءًا من التحضير قبل النزول إلى الحقول والحدائق إلى العمل حتى إعداد الحصاد الأول. يتم تنفيذ تقليد قراءة Lontara Kutika أيضًا من قبل المجتمع إذا كانوا يريدون تحديد وقت الزواج والمآدب مثل حفلات الزفاف وطقوس الحج. يبدأ توقيت مراسم الزفاف بتوقيت العرض والزواج ومأدبة الزفاف. وفي الوقت نفسه ، يتم تحديد الوقت المناسب من خلال تقليد قراءة Lontara Kutika في طقوس مأدبة الحج بترتيب تحديد الوقت المناسب للطقوس ، وتحديد وقت طقوس الحج. Abstract

This study examines the use of the Inquiry Method in learning the skills of writing local cultural narratives for Semester VI Students of the Islamic Civilization History Study Program. The problem in this study is: How is the implementation of learning the skills of writing local cultural narratives using the inquiry method for semester VI students of the Islamic Civilization History Department, Faculty of Adab and Humanities, UIN Alauddin Makassar? The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of local cultural narrative writing skills using the inquiry method for semester VI students of the Islamic Civilization History Department, Faculty of Adab and Humanities, UIN Alauddin Makassar. The results of this study are that the use of the inquiry method can improve the skills of semester VI students of the Islamic Civilization History Study Program, Faculty of Adab and Humanities, UIN Alauddin Makassar in writing local cultural narratives as described below: The results of the implementation of learning using the inquiry method obtained in the implementation of this learning are: in cycle I, it is still relatively low. This is evidenced by the percentage that gets the very good category on each test component such as: the very good category of the five test components is only 23 people overall or 12 percent who get the very good category. There are 43 people or 23 percent of the total number of test components who get the good category, 44 people or 23 percent who get the moderate category. Likewise, those who get the less category are 44 people or 23 percent, while those who get the very less category are 19 percent.
