Abstract

A good performance appraisal system can help identify employee strengths and weaknesses, provide constructive feedback, and encourage increased skills and motivation. Appraising the performance of honorary employees using the Behaviorally Anchored Rating Scale (BARS) method provides clarity and objectivity in assessing various aspects of employee behavior and skills. The aim of the research is to determine the performance assessment of honorary employees using the Behaviorally Anchor Rating Scale (Bars) method at the Hulonthalangi Community Health Center, Gorontalo City.       The research method used a descriptive design, the population in the study were all honorary employees at the Hulonthalangi Community Health Center and the total sample was 17 people. This research uses a descriptive design. The sample in this research was 17 honorary employees. The independent variables in this research are discipline, responsibility, team work, problem solving and decision-making skills, obedience, honesty, self-motivation which are assessed using the Behaviorally Anchored Rating Scale (BARS) method, while the dependent variable is employee performance, which is measured using the Behaviorally Anchored Rating Scale (BARS) method. questionnaire. The results of this research found that the Behaviorally Anchor Rating Scale (BARS) performance assessment included 3 factors, including factor 1 discipline with a weight of 1,851, factor 2 Responsibility with a weight of 1,377, factor 3 Team Work with a weight of 1,067. It is recommended to conduct research related to employee performance to add other research variables.

Abstract

In today's modern industry, quality is a priority for all companies in the world. PT X in Gorontalo, which produces dried corn, is one of the companies that is able to penetrate foreign markets, reliable and successful achieved so far cannot be separated from the strength of good quality. In practice, the quality of an item or product is also determined by its technical level, so that the efficiency of existing machines must be improved as much as possible. Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is a method of measuring the effectiveness of the use of a machine/equipment by calculating machine availability, performance and quality of products produced. Calculation of the Six Big Losses is done to find out the losses that cause the low value of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). From the results of research conducted from January 2023-October 2023, the highest percentage of availability value was 99.24% and the lowest was. 88.48%, the highest percentage of performance efficiency value is 83% and the lowest is 67% while the percentage of rate of quality product value is 97% and the average Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) value generated in 2023 January-October is 70.10%. Dalam industri modern saat ini, kualitas menjadi prioritas bagi semua perusahaan di dunia. PT. X di Gorontalo yang memproduksi jagung kering merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang mampu menembus pasar luar negeri, handal dan kesuksesan yang diraih selama ini tidak lepas dari kekuatan kualitas yang baik. Dalam prakteknya mutu suatu barang atau produk juga ditentukan oleh tingkat tekniknya, sehingga efisiensi mesin-mesin yang ada harus ditingkatkan semaksimal mungkin. Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) adalah metode pengukuran tingkat efektivitas pemakaian suatu mesin/peralatan dengan menghitung ketersediaan mesin, kinerja dan kualitas produk yang dihasilkan. Perhitungan terhadap Six Big Losses dilakukan untuk mengetahui kerugian-kerugian yang menyebabkan rendahnya nilai Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dari bulan Januari 2023-Oktober 2023 mencapai persentase tertinggi dari nilai availability yaitu 99,24% dan terendah yaitu. 88,48%, persentase nilai performance efficiency tertinggi yaitu 83% dan yang terendah yaitu 67% sedangkan persentase nilai rate of quality product yaitu 97% dan rata-rata nilai Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) yang dihasilkan pada tahun 2023 bulan Januari-Oktober adalah 70,10%.

Abstract

CV Jeans Gallery is a convection company that faced significant challenges related to waste in its production process, including high waiting times, workload imbalances, and inefficiencies in production flow. The primary aim of this study was to identify and reduce waste through the application of the Value Stream Mapping (VSM) method. VSM was employed to map the production process, identify non-value-added activities, and uncover opportunities for improvement to enhance overall efficiency. Data was collected through direct observation, interviews with employees, and recording the time taken for various production processes. The analysis revealed that several types of waste occurred across the production stages. This included inventory waste, characterized by excessive raw material stock, and waiting waste, particularly during the design of embroidery patterns, where delays were frequently observed. Additionally, defects were identified as another significant form of waste, occurring when products could not be used by customers due to quality issues.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan peran mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di era digital. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini mengumpulkan data melalui studi literatur, yang melibatkan pembacaan literatur dari berbagai sumber termasuk laporan, buku, artikel, dan jurnal dengan menggunakan pendakatan kualitatif dan deduktif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa memiliki peran yang sangat strategis dalam meningkatan kualitas pendidikan di tengah arus digitalisasi yang terus berkembang. Peran mereka terwujud dalam berbagai bentuk, mulai dari menjadi motor penggerak transformasi digital di lingkungan kampus, pelopor dalam penyebaran literasi informasi yang kritis dan bertanggung jawab, pengembang berbagai inovasi teknologi pendidikan, hingga menjadi mitra aktif lembaga pendidikan dalam proses evaluasi dan pengambilan kebijakan. Lebih dari itu, mahasiswa juga hadir sebagai aktor perubahan sosial yang memanfaatkan pendidikan digital untuk memperjuangkan keadilan, kesetaraan, dan pemberdayaan masyarakat luas.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the distribution route determination of PT. Cipta Langgeng Mitra Sukses's food products using the Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) method. This study uses a quantitative approach to design the optimal distribution route at PT. Cipta Langgeng Mitra Sukses in Gorontalo Regency. Through Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) algorithm simulation, this study analyzes the variables of distance, time, and cost with data obtained from literature studies, interviews, and field observations. The results of this study indicate that the optimal route formed is able to minimize travel distance, time, and operational costs. Fleet 1 traveled a distance of 38.7 km in 79 minutes and costs Rp26,316, while Fleet 2 traveled 37.2 km in 99 minutes and costs Rp25,296. The evaporation mechanism and pheromone intensity influence the route selection, where the 5th route for Fleet 1 and the 1321st route for Fleet 2 are the fastest and most efficient routes. These findings prove that Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) is effective in determining the optimal distribution route for the company.

Abstract

At PT Putra Argam Mandiri there are still product defects in every distribution process. Product defects that are often found at PT Argam are hang guards and foot rings that are peyot due to being crushed with other products during transportation and leaking bodies. The number of defective products produced on average for the last 6 months period reached 487 units. So that the Overall Equipment. Effectiveness method is needed in order to streamline the performance of the tool and be able to function as it should. That way the tool will work properly and will produce quality productsBased on the research conducted, the conclusions obtained from the results of the OEE calculation on the Filling machine PT. Putra Argam Mandiri during the period October 2024 to March 2025 resulted in an average OEE of around 86.55%.

Abstract

In the manufacturing industry, a company's productivity can be seen from its ability to run production processes effectively and efficiently. The problem of inefficient production occurs in the production process, which makes the production time longer and does not meet the targets. This forces operators to work overtime, and the company has to incur additional costs for the overtime operators. This research aims to identify waste and the impacts that affect production cost losses. Several waste factors that have a dominant impact on production cost losses have been identified. The result of this study is a change in the cycle time from before the improvement, which was 21,600 seconds or 360 minutes. After improvements were made to activities that caused waste, the cycle time of the ready-mix concrete production process became 18,600 seconds or 310 minutes.

Abstract

Penerapan metode Overall Equipment effectiveness (OEE) dan Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) pada PT. XYZ diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran dan ramalan terkait produksi dan evektifitas dari penggunaan mesin yang berada dalam ruang produksi. permasalah dari penelitian adalah terjadinya masalah saat produksi berlangsung akibat terjadinya kerusakan mesin yang dapat menurunkan produkstifitas mesin yang ada di ruang produksi tersebut, yang disebabkan oleh tidak adanya jadwal maintenance mesin yang teratur. Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan untuk dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan yang sering terjadi di perusahaan seperti kerusakan mesin secara mendadak, tidak terkontrolnya maintenance yang disebabkan oleh tidak adanya jadwal yang mengakibatkan penurunan produksi di perusahaan yang menjadi sautu kerugian terhadap perusahaan tersebut. Metode yang akan di pakai dalam menyelesaikan penelitian ini yaitu, Overall Equipment Effectivenes (OEE) dan Total Productive Maintenance(TPM) Fishbone Diagram dan 5W + H yang saling terikat satu sama lain dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa mesin yang paling rendah nilai OEE yaitu mesin shaker dan mesin rotex, dengan angka 32,68% dan 14,16%. Sedangkan rata-rata nilai yang didapatkan untuk perbaikan mesin berdasarkan MTBF yaitu mesin shaker 27.1 dan mesin rotex 21.6 jam, dan MTTR atau waktu yang di butuhkan untuk maintenance adalah mesin shaker 2.2 Jam dan mesin rotex 2.2 Jam.

Abstract

Water Treatment Plant (WTP) merupakan sistem utilitas penting yang berperan dalam menjamin ketersediaan air bersih bagi operasional industri. Namun, efektivitas peralatan pada sistem ini seringkali belum optimal akibat penerapan pemeliharaan yang kurang terintegrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat efektivitas peralatan menggunakan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), mengidentifikasi kerugian dominan melalui Six Big Losses, serta menganalisis pengaruh penerapan Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) terhadap nilai OEE.  Penelitian dilakukan pada lima unit utama WTP di PT SASL Sons Indonesia dengan menggunakan data operasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata OEE pada ke 4 unit Water Treatment Plant  masih di bawah standar world class (≥85%). Unit Kontrol dan Instrumentasi sebagai unit dengan kinerja tertinggi dengan nilai OEE sebesar 86,26% dan unit filtrasi sebagai unit dengan kinerja terendah. Analisis Six Big Losses menunjukkan bahwa reduced speed loss dan yield/scrap loss merupakan penyebab utama penurunan efektivitas. Hasil regresi linier sederhana menunjukkan hubungan positif dan signifikan antara TPM dan OEE dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,778 dan nilai signifikansi 0,003. Peningkatan implementasi TPM terbukti berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan efektivitas peralatan pada sistem WTP.

Abstract

PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan agribisnis terkemuka di Indonesia yang bergerak di bidang produksi pakan ternak, budidaya unggas, dan pengolahan makanan. PT. XYZ cabang Gorontalo berperan strategis sebagai pusat pengadaan dan penyimpanan jagung sebagai bahan baku utama pakan ternak, mengingkat Gorontalo merupakan salah satu sentra produksi jagung terbesar di Indonesia. Penelitian ini mengkaji optimasi kapasitas penyimpanan jagung menggunakan metode Integer Linear Programmming (ILP). Perusahaan mengoperasikan empat silo kapasitas total 20.000 ton, namun akumulasi stok maksimum mencapai 33.272 ton pada Juli 2024, sehingga terjadi defisit kapasitas sebesar 13.272 ton (66,36%). Hasil optimasi menggunakan Microsoft excel solver dan LINGO 14.0 menunjukkan kebutuhan 7 unit silo dengan total kapasitas 35.000 ton, tingkat utilitas sebesar 95,06%, dan cadangan kapasitas 1.728 ton, guna untuk menjamin efisiensi operasional penyimpanan jagung pada perusahaan.
