Abstract

Obyek-obyek fisika di alam tidak semuanya dapat dilihat secara kasat mata dan bukan juga terdiri dari objek-objek yang hanya berukuran makro saja, tapi juga melibatkan objek berukuran mikro yang terdiri dari partikel yang berukuran nanometer atau lebih kecil dari itu. Namun, untuk mengukur perilaku partikel dalam jumlah besar pada skala mikro tidak dapat dibuktikan secara analitis, sehingga dibutuhkan solusi penyelesaian dengah hasil yang akurat. Salah satu solusi adalah dengan menggunakan simulasi dinamika molekuler (Moleculer Dynamics, MD). Di sisi lain topik gaya gravitasi pada gerak planet adalah salah satu topik fisika yang dapat divisualisasikan secara menarik yang diharapkan dapat memotivasi minat siswa dalam mempelajari fisika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang model simulasi dinamika molekul pada konsep gaya gravitasi pada gerak planet dengan fokus pengembangan pada obyek: 1) gaya gravitasi yang dapat divariasi besarnya berdasarkan variabel massa obyek-obyek yang berinteraksi,  2) orbit gerak planet yang dapat divariasikan berdasarkan perbedaan gaya gravitasi. Program yang digunakan dalam pengembangan simulasi MD adalah program C++.  Hasil menunjukkan bahwa simulasi MD untuk topik gaya gravitasi pada gerak planet telah berhasil dengan berbagai variasi gaya gravitasi pada orbit planet.

Abstract

This paper posits an opinion that the state of philosophy in contemporary world including in academic milieu is quiet unsatisfying in terms of how it is formulated and perceived. Though only lightly touched here and there, similar situation happens in Indonesia. Philosophy has been notoriously accused of corrupting young generations, of continuously irritating establishments, or at best leaves the world unchanged. Con-sidering that even music, for example, which satisfies only a few human sense, could have such enormous effect to human life, philosophy which claims to cover all traces of human existence could basically do something much much more, rather than simply uninfluencial or harming humanity. By elucidating initial and a little further meaning of philosophy, this paper try to build a foundation for such claim. In between such elucidation, it is briefly mentioned certain reasons why philosophy has been, is and will exist as long as human being exist. All in all, however, this article is only a beginning or at least the first part to explain the existensial nature of philosophy. A further article is needed to expound that.

Abstract

Tangerang merupakan wilayah perkembangan Jakarta. Kabupaten Tangerang banyak mengalami pertumbuhan, yakni: (1) Pusat Pertumbuhan Balaraja dan Tigaraksa, difokuskan sebagai daerah sentra industri, permukiman, dan pusat pemerintahan; (2) Pusat Pertumbuhan Teluk Naga, berada di wilayah pesisir, mengedepankan industri pariwisata alam dan bahari, industri maritim, perikanan, pertambakan, dan pelabuhan; (3) Pusat Pertumbuhan Curug, Kelapa Dua, Legok dan Pagedangan difokuskan sebagai pusat pemukiman, dan kawasan bisnis. Sedangkan guru Sekolah Menengah Atas yang ada di Kabupaten Tangerang seakan terpisah dengan keadaan disekelilingnya. Banyak guru yang hanya mengajar saja dan langsung pulang ke rumahnya atau mengajar di sekolah lain. Untuk itu dilakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ditujukan bagi guru SMA yang ada di Kabupaten Tangerang. Abdimas ini dilakukan mengikuti alur pengembangan sumber daya guru dalam pembelajaran yaitu: tahun pertama Pencerahan tentang Pendekatan kontruktivisme; tahun kedua Pendekatan keterampilan Proses dan tahun ketiga adalah Pendekatan Student Team Achievement Division (STAD). Sekarang telah memasuki tahun ketiga yaitu tentang STAD yang dimulai pada bulan Agustus sampai dengan bulan Oktober 2018. Hasil pada tahun pertama, selesai pendampingan oleh dosen FKIP-UT terhadap guru SMA di kabupaten Tangerang telah terampil menerapkan pendekatan kontruktivis dalam pembelajarn di kelasnya. Begitu juga dengan hasil tahun kedua dengan dilakukan pendampingan para guru SMA secara aktif telah menerapkan keterampilan proses pada setiap pembelajarannya. Semoga guru SMA di Balaraja selalu menerapkan pendekatan konstruktivisme dan keterampilan proses pada setiap pembelajaran di kelasnya.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the effect of the Number Head Together type of cooperative learning model on student achievement, the effect of motivational learning on learning achievement, the effect of NHT model interaction and learning motivation on student achievement. This research was conducted at SDN 112233 Sidorejo, Torgamba District. The population was all 60 fourth grade students. The sample is all students as many as 30 students in class A and as many as 30 students in class B. The research instruments used were learning outcomes tests and learning motivation questionnaires. The research method uses a quasi-experimental method with a 2x2 factorial. The data analysis technique used ANOVA at a significant level of 0.05. The results of the analysis show that the learning achievement of students with the NHT model is higher than those taught by the conventional model (Fcount = 11,619> Ftable = 2.0021), there is a significant difference in the learning outcomes of students who have high motivation and low motivation (Fcount = 15,646> Ftable = 2 0.0021) and there is a significant interaction between the NHT model and students' learning motivation on learning achievement (Fcount = 4.378> Ftable = 2.0021). This study concludes that overall students who are taught with the NHT cooperative learning model and have high motivation have higher learning achievements than students who are taught using the conventional model

Abstract

Inquiry is learning that maximally involves all the abilities of students to find and investigate natural phenomena, living things or objects critically, analytically and logically to produce creative and innovative students in solving problems. The purpose of this study was to produce interactive multimedia assisted inquiry learning in science subjects in grade V elementary schools to improve critical thinking skills. The research method used is research and development of learning approaches by Borg and Gall and the Dick and Carey learning design model. The design used was: R&D, ADDIE, SDLC, Tesmer's formative evaluation model. The contribution of this research is to obtain a standardized interactive multimedia design based on the inquiry learning model which can help teachers implement science learning, for the formation of the students competence of Class V elementary school, implications for increasing teacher productivity and increasing competence in student learning for fifth grade elementary school. The follow-up of this interactive multimedia development research has implications for increasing teacher productivity and increasing competence in learning student for fifth grade elementary school.

Abstract

The concept of science for most students is a difficult concept. Based on observations made during science learning in grade IV at SDN Pasirtenjo 3, it shows that teachers still use a teacher-centered learning approach. This condition is most likely one of the causes of low student learning outcomes in science subjects. This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the effect of contextual learning with audio-visual media and scientific thinking skills on science learning outcomes for fourth grade elementary school students. The population in this study were all fourth grade students at SDN Pasirtenjo 3 in the academic year 2020/2021 totaling 60 people, the research sample was grade IV students at SDN Pasirtenjo 3 Pandeglang Regency totaling 30 people. The independent variables in this study were audio-visual media contextual learning and scientific thinking, while the dependent variable was science learning outcomes. The measurement of scientific thinking variables uses a questionnaire, while the learning outcomes use the science learning outcomes test in the form of multiple choice. The results showed that there were differences in science learning outcomes between students who studied contextual audio-visual media with contextual learning without audio-visual media. Then there is the influence of the interaction between contextual learning and scientific thinking skills on science learning outcomes. Furthermore, students' science learning outcomes with contextual learning using audio-visual media have higher scientific thinking abilities compared to contextual learning without audio-visual media. And there is no difference in the science learning outcomes of students with low scientific thinking skills with contextual learning using audio-visual media compared to contextual learning without audio-visual media.

Abstract

Grade VI students of SDN Tanah Tinggi 4 Tangerang in general, consider Natural Sciences to be an interesting science to learn but the understanding of grade VI students on science learning materials is still not satisfactory, still low results of science learning is very possible because of the use of improper learning methods in the learning process. This study was conducted with the aim to analyze the influence of contextual learning and interpersonal intelligence on the results of science learning of grade VI elementary school students. This study used experiments with 2x2 factorial design. The population in this study was all grade VI students of SDN Tanah Tinggi 4 in the 2020/2021 school year which amounted to 48 students, the research sample was grade VI students of SDN Tanah Tinggi 4 Tangerang City numbering 48 people. Independent variables in this study are contextual learning and interpersonal intelligence, whereas independent variables are the result of studying SCIENCE. Measurement of interpersonal intelligence variables using questionnaires with 30 points of statement, while the measurement of learning results using science study results test in the form of multiple choice consisting of 40 questions. The data analysis uses two-track variance analysis (ANAVA) and continues with the Tukey test. Based on the results of the calculation obtained the results of the study as follows: (1) There are differences in science learning outcomes between students who are studied using contextual learning models with students who are taught using problem-based learning models; (2) There is an influence of contextual learning interaction and interpersonal intelligence on the learning outcomes of grade VI students at SDN Tanah Tinggi 4; (3) There are significant differences in science learning outcomes between students with high interpersonal intelligence who are taught using contextual learning models with students with high interpersonal intelligence who are taught using a problem-based learning model; (4) There are no significant differences in student science learning outcomes that are taught with contextual learning models and have low interpersonal intelligence with science learning outcomes that are taught with problem-based learning models.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of cooperative learning think pair share on critical thinking skills and learning outcomes of fifth graders at SDN 5 Sa'dan. This research is a quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design model of the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all fifth grade students of SD Negeri 5 Sadan, totaling 83 students. After randomization, VA was obtained as the experimental class and VB as the control class. Data collection techniques are through tests and observations of the process of learning activities. Based on data analysis on critical thinking skills, sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05, this shows that there is an influence of think pair share learning on students' critical thinking skills. Based on the data analysis of learning outcomes obtained the value of sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05 so it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model of think pair share type affects the learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 5 Sadan

Abstract

Abstrak: Covid-19 telah memberikan dampak perubahan dalam berbagai sektor, salah satunya dalam bidang Pendidikan. Tren pembelajaran berkonsepkan teknologi menjadi perhatian utama selama masa pandemi covid-19. Setiap guru dituntut untuk terampil dan mampu beradaptasi secara cepat dengan kebutuhan teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Masih terbatasnya kemampuan guru dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi seperti salah satunya teramati dalam skema pemberian tugas dan penilaian hasil belajar. Kurangnya pengalaman dan kemampuan dalam mengelola sistem penialaian berbasis digital memberikan peluang untuk dikembangkannya sebuah kelas pelatihan dengan topik penilaian hasil belajar berbasis online (digital assessment). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan online course (MOOCs) pada topik pengelolaan penilaian hasil belajar secara online. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R & D), dengan model pengembangan yang dipilih adalah Plomp. Tahapan penelitian sesuai dengan model Plomp meliputi 3 langkah, diantaranya: Preliminary Research, Prototyping Phase (Self evaluation, one to one, expert review, small group dan field test), Assessment Phase. Topik yang dikembangkan pada online course dengan fokus pengelolaan penilaian hasil belajar meliputi: Quizizz, Google Form, Wordwall, EdApp, Quizlet, QuizMaker, Nearpod dan Kahoot. Karena keterbatasan penelitian, ujicoba hanya dilakukan dalam skala kecil.Abstract:  Covid-19 has had an impact on changes in various sectors, one of which is in the field of education. The trend of technology-concept learning is a major concern during the COVID-19 pandemic. Every teacher is required to be skilled and able to adapt quickly to technological needs in learning. The limited ability of teachers to integrate technology, one of which is observed in the scheme of assigning assignments and assessing learning outcomes. The lack of experience and ability in managing digital-based assessment systems provides an opportunity for the development of a training class with the topic of online-based learning outcomes assessment (digital assessment). The purpose of this study is to produce online courses (MOOCs) on the topic of managing online learning outcomes assessment. This type of research is Research and Development (R & D), with the development model chosen being Plomp. The research stages according to the Plomp model include 3 steps, including: Preliminary Research, Prototyping Phase (Self evaluation, one to one, expert review, small group and field test), Assessment Phase. Topics developed on online courses with a focus on managing learning outcomes assessment include: Quizizz, Google Form, Wordwall, EdApp, Quizlet, QuizMaker, Nearpod and Kahoot. Due to research limitations, trials are only conducted on a small scale.
