Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik konsumen produk gula semut, menganalisis atribut produk gula semut yang menjadi preferensi konsumen dan menganalisis atribut yang paling dipertimbangkan konsumen dalam keputusan membeli produk gula semut. Penelitian dilakukan di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta pada tanggal 1 Juni – 1 Agustus 2021. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada responden yang pernah membeli produk gula semut dengan jumlah 100 orang. Atribut yang diamati pada penelitian ini adalah harga, kemasan, manfaat untuk kesehatan, kandungan gizi, inovasi kandungan rempah-rempah. Kadaluwarsa, pengawet, merek, keorganikan, kehalalan, bentuk, ukuran, warna, rasa, aroma, estetika, kelarutan, kebersihan, daya tahan, promosi, kemudahan didapat dan diskon. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan convenience sampling menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis multi atribut fishbein. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian  diperoleh kesimpulan sebagai berikut: (1) Sikap konsumen terhadap atribut gula semut yang dipertimbangkan dalam memilih produk gula semut di Kota Yogyakarta secara berturut-turut dari yang paling dipertimbangkan sampai dengan kurang dipertimbangkan yaitu  (2) kehalalan, kebersihan, manfaat untuk kesehatan, daya tahan, kandungan gizi, kadaluwarsa, rasa, keorganikan, kemudahan didapat, aroma dan kelarutan. Konsumen memilih kehalalan sebagai atribut yang paling diutamakan ketika melakukan pembelian gula semut.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid 19 memberikan dampak pada berbagai kegiatan masyarakat khususnya sektor pariwisata. Mayoritas masyarakat Kabupaten Bantul di daerah pesisir pantai menggantungkan penghidupannya pada sektor parwisata dengan berdagang. Pandemi berdampak pada sumber mata pencaharian dari sektor pariwisata menurun, sehingga penurunkan pendapatan rumah tangga dan menyebabkan ketimpangan distribusi pendapatan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perubahan pendapatan masyarakat, serta menganalisis ketimpangan distribusi pendapatan masyarakat di Kawasan Wisata Pesisir Pantai Kabupaten Bantul sebelum dan setelah Pandemi Covid 19. Metode dasar yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitis. Pengambilan lokasi penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan metode purposive sampling yaitu Pantai Goa Cemara (Kecamatan Sanden) dan Pantai Baru (Kecamatan Srandakan). Metode analisis data yang digunakan untuk mengetahui perubahan pendapatan masyarakat sebelum dan setelah Pandemi Covid 19 adalah uji Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) One-Way yang dilanjutkan dengan uji lanjut (Post Hoc Test), ketimpangan distribusi pendapatan masyarakat dianalisis menggunakan Indeks Gini dan Kurva Lorenz. Hasil penelitian diperoleh perubahan pendapatan masyarakat sebelum dan setelah pandemi covid 19 sangat signifikan perbedaannya antara sebelum (tahun 2019) dan saat tahun pertama pandemi (tahun 2020) serta tahun pertama pandemi (2020) dengan pasca pandemi mereda (tahun 2022). Ketimpangan distribusi pendapatan masyarakat sebelum dan setelah Pandemi Covid 19 mengalami ketimpangan yang tinggi saat pandemi Covid 19 di tahun 2020 dan 2021, berbeda dengan saat sebelum pandemi (tahun 2019) dan pasca pandemi tahun 2022 yang termasuk dalam ketimpangan sedang.

Abstract

Rural communities are known to have a tough life survival strategy in the face of all kinds of shocks problem, both natural and economic shocks. They are also easy to adapt. The Covid-19 pandemic affects the economic activities of rural communities in tourist areas, causing the community have a difficulty to earn a living in tourist areas from an economic perspective. This study aims to determine the household strategies of rural communities in achieving sustainable livelihoods in the Coastal Tourism Area of Bantul Regency in Facing the Covid-19 Pandemic. The basic method used is descriptive analytical. The research location was taken on a new beach in Bantul Regency which was crowded with visitors in the last 5 years, namely Goa Cemara Beach (Sanden District) and Baru Beach (Srandakan District). The data analysis method used is descriptive analysis method. The livelihood strategies chosen by rural households are divided into three criteria, namely survival strategies, consolidation, or accumulation. The classification of strategies is carried out based on the household income of the community. The result of the research is that the rural household strategy used to support the achievement of sustainable livelihoods is dominated by the consolidation strategy. Consolidation strategies are mostly carried out by the community both before, during and after the Covid 19 Pandemic. Consolidated community households develop themselves in the use of assets for medium-term goals and have sufficient assets to support daily household livelihoods.

Abstract

One way to increase the added value of agricultural products is through product processing in an agro-industry. One of the superior fruit commodities produced in Indonesia is bananas. Apart from being consumed directly, bananas are also processed into various profitable processed food products. This study aims to analyze the business feasibility of banana cake products at UMKM Bolen Ny. Lien's. The basic method used is analytical descriptive. The object of this research is UMKM Bolen Ny. Lien's, which is an MSME that processes banana-based food and has a distribution permit and is halal from the MUI. Research data collection was carried out in December 2022 - January 2023. The data analysis method used to answer the objectives in this study was cost analysis, R/C ratio and Break Even Point (BEP). The results obtained showed that the variant Ny. Lien's in the form of chocolate banana cake, cheese and chocolate cheese has a positive income value, the value of the R/C Ratio is more than 1 (R/C Ratio> 1) and the BEP unit and the price is greater than the amount of production and the selling price means that the business is running profitably and worth running. INTISARIPeningkatan nilai tambah produk hasil pertanian salah satunya dilakukan melalui pengolahan produk dalam sebuah agroindustri. Komoditas buah unggulan yang banyak diproduksi di Indonesia salah satunya adalah buah pisang. Selain dikonsumsi secara langsung, pisang juga banyak diolah menjadi beraneka produk olahan makanan yang menguntungkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk menganalisis kelayakan usaha produk bolen pisang pada UMKM Bolen Ny. Lien’s. Metode dasar yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitis. Objek penelitian ini adalah UMKM Bolen Ny. Lien’s yang merupakan UMKM yang mengolah makanan berbahan dasar pisang dan telah memiliki izin edar dan halal dari MUI. Pengambilan data penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2022 – Januari 2023. Metode analisis data yang digunakan untuk menjawab tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan analisis biaya, R/C ratio dan Break Even Point (BEP). Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan varian bolen pisang Ny. Lien’s berupa bolen pisang coklat, keju dan coklat keju memiliki nilai pendapatan yang positif, nilai R/C Ratio lebih dari 1 (R/C Ratio > 1) dan BEP unit serta harga lebih besar dari jumlah produksi dan harga jual artinya usaha yang dijalankan menguntungkan dan layak dijalankan.

Abstract

Shallots represent a significant component of Indonesia's vegetable crop production. They are widely consumed across the country, leading to an annual increase in demand. However, shallot production tends to remain stable or even decline, resulting in supply and price instability. In the Special Region of Yogyakarta, shallots are a prominent horticultural commodity with substantial production. Producer prices for shallots in this region exhibit fluctuations, particularly at the producer level compared to wholesale or consumer prices. Forecasting producer-level shallot prices utilizes the ARIMA (Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average) method, chosen for its accuracy in short-term time series prediction. Data sourced from the Strategic Food Price Information Center (PIHPS) via the hargapangan.id platform includes consumer prices and spans from January 2019 to May 2024. The analysis reveals that producer prices in the Special Region of Yogyakarta are influenced by previous month price increases, with the optimal ARIMA model identified as ARIMA (1,0,0) with the equation D(Y) = 21885.24 + 0.569977AR(1), as determined by the study findings.Keywords: ARIMA, Forecasting, Producer Prices, Shallots

Abstract

The Yogyakarta City government's efforts to minimize slum areas by realizing road widening on the banks of the Code River. This initiative was realized by creating the Pedestrian Code Gumreget (PCG). The aim is to improve the standard of living of people close to the river. The potential possessed by PCG, especially in the lower gemblakan area, is still accompanied by several existing problems. The first problem is the tourism potential that can still be optimized by adding new tourism items that can attract tourists to visit. The second problem is that the good tourism potential has not been supported by digital marketing in promotional efforts. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method approach. Data analysis techniques are preceded by compiling, preparing data, reading the data owned and analyzing data with a coding process ending with a description. In this Grape Village Introduction study, there are five activities that will be carried out, namely strengthening institutions, making processed grape products, cultivating grapes, digital marketing, social engineering and benchmarking. The results of the study showed that KWT GEMARI PCG succeeded in utilizing local potential by developing processed grape-based products, mastering grape cultivation techniques to grafting, and utilizing digital marketing to expand the market. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of empowering human resources in supporting ecotourism aspirations in Kampung Anggur, and shows that this initiative has great potential to improve community welfare through sustainable ecotourism.

Abstract

Brie cheese is a soft cheese that uses bacteria and fungi as cheese-forming microbes that create a distinctive taste, aroma and texture compared to other cheeses. This study aims to determine consumer characteristics, analyze consumer satisfaction and the strategy for developing brie cheese product attributes at PT Rumah Keju Jogja. The basic method used is descriptive analysis. The location of the study was taken using purposive sampling by selecting PT Rumah Keju Jogja, one of the natural cheese producers in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, with products and services offered in the form of artisan cheese and cheese-making training. The respondents of this study were 80 people who used voluntary sampling techniques. The data analysis method used to determine consumer characteristics is descriptive analysis, which analyses consumer satisfaction using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) method and product attribute development strategies using the Important Performance Analysis (IPA) matrix. The results of the study showed that the characteristics of brie cheese consumers who were respondents were the majority aged 26-35 years, had a bachelor's degree, worked as housewives, and had a household income of more than IDR 7,000,000. Consumers are satisfied with the attributes of brie cheese products. However, to increase consumer satisfaction, an attribute development strategy needs to be implemented, namely by improving product attributes, namely taste, nutrition, preservatives and Halal certification, as well as maintaining performance by maintaining the attributes of aroma, price, shelf life, BPOM permits, and product information.

Abstract

One of the ways to empower rural communities is to empower women farmer groups. One of the program activities in the women farmer group is the processing of agricultural commodities. The activity of processing agricultural commodities into a food product (off farm) can provide added value to the product and can make the product to be superior product. Limited knowledge related to product processing is a problem that can be overcome through community empowerment programs. The purpose of this activity is that women farmer groups in every hamlet in Salamrejo Village, Kulon Progo Regency can utilize superior commodities in their area into processed food products that have added value. The method used in this activity is counseling (edu-agriculture) and direct training practices on the manufacture of processed foods made from corn. The results of the activities obtained are in the form of increasing the knowledge of members of the women's farmer group regarding how to process food made from corn commodities so that they are cost-efficient and have a high selling price and can practice food processing made from corn commodities independently in groups.

Abstract

This study investigates the resilience strategies of rice farmers in Manyaran District, Wonogiri Regency, in adapting to agricultural challenges and diversifying into the horticultural sector. The research is grounded in resilience and adaptation in agricultural systems, emphasizing crop diversification as a strategy to sustain farmer livelihoods amidst environmental and economic pressures. In May and June 2024, the study utilized surveys, observations, structured interviews, and a literature review to collect data. 42 rice-farming households across seven villages in Manyaran District were selected through simple random sampling. The sample comprised middle-aged farmers aged 40–50, With an average age of 45 years, as younger populations often migrate to urban areas, leaving agriculture dominated by this demographic. Descriptive data analysis using simple tabulation was employed to illustrate the conditions of the studied area. The findings reveal that farmers in Manyaran District exhibit strong learning capacities, which enhance their resilience. They adapted by transforming rice fields into horticultural areas and experimenting with various horticultural commodities. Technological flexibility, including the use of social media for acquiring and sharing horticultural knowledge, played a crucial role in their adaptation. Information exchange among farmers further contributed to the sustainability of their livelihoods.  This research highlights the importance of crop diversification as a strategy for farmers to adapt to shifting environmental and economic conditions. The results underscore the adaptability and resilience of Manyaran farmers in sustaining agricultural practices despite ongoing challenges, offering insights for broader agricultural adaptation strategies.
