Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Alat Musik Tradisional Suling Gayo di Desa Toweren Kecamatan Lut Tawar Kabupaten Aceh Tengah”. Mengangkat masalah struktur bentuk alat musik Suling, proses pembutan dan tekhnik bermain Suling Gayo. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk alat musik tradisional Suling Gayo dan Mendeskripsikan teknik permainan alat musik Suling Gayo. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah suling gayo sedangkan objek dalam penelitian ini adalah para pemain suling gayo di desa Toweren Kecamatan Lut Tawar Kabupaten Aceh Tengah. Pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah dokumentasi, wawancara, dan observasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di desa Toweren kecamatan Lut Tawar Kabupaten Aceh Tengah. Peneliti memilih lokasi penelitian di Desa Toweren yaitu di rumah Kakek Yusuf, Bapak Syarifudin, Agussalim. Proses pembuatan alat musik Suling Gayo menggunakan cara kerja yang sederhana dengan menggunakan alat yang sederhana pula, bahannya uluh Ines bahan dari alam yang digunakan untuk pembuatan suling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah data reduction (reduksi data), data display (penyajian data) dan conclusion drawing/verifikasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa suling gayo merupakan alat musik yang dimainkan dengan cara ditiup dan memiliki bagian seperti kepala, batang dan congo (ikat suling) serta teknik bermainnya yaitu menentukan posisi bibir saat meniup lubang tiup. Ada tiga posisi meniup suling yang baik yaitu posisi meniup maju/depan, posisi meniup normal (tengah), dan posisi bibir berada ditepi. Disarankan penelitian yang berhubungan dengan suling gayo dapat dilanjutkan oleh peneliti lain sehingga dapat terungkap hal-hal yang belum terungkap melalui penelitian ini.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the reality at MAN 2 Agam which shows that students' memorization is not maximal in achieving it according to the target given, there are also students who like to disturb their friends in the process of reciting the Qur'an, less effective place and time for extracurricular tahfizh implementation Qur'an, the lack of strict rules related to the tahfiz program at MAN 2 Agam, and the teacher's lack of optimality in carrying out extracurricular tahfizh Qur'an. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method. The key informants in this study were tahfizh mentor teachers at MAN 2 Agam. Supporting informants in this study were students and school principals. Based on the findings of the research conducted by the researchers, it shows that the implementation of tahfidz Quran extracurricular activities at MAN 2 Agam is carried out in 3 activities, namely initial, core and closing activities. Initial activities include greeting, reading prayers, taking student absences. provide motivation, convey learning objectives and steps of the learning process. The core activities include providing tahfizh material according to the abilities of the students and the time allotted. Closing activities include conveying learning conclusions to students, and conducting evaluations. The supporting factors are the application and policies of the principal towards the Tahfiz Qur'an extracurricular, the facilities and infrastructure and the inhibiting factors namely time constraints, the lack of seriousness of students in participating in the extracurricular tahfiz Qur'an.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the character value education in the Tarek Pukat dance of UNIKI Performing Arts education. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, and a case study approach. Data collection techniques use the stages of observation, interviews and document analysis. With the aim of examining the character values ​​contained in the Tarek Pukat Dance. A qualitative approach with a case study design was used to specifically understand character values in educational praxis through the Tarek Pukat Dance. The results of this study indicate that in the Tarek Pukat dance, the character value education that is seen is in the form of religious, responsibility, tolerance, discipline, cooperation values, humility and this is packaged into character value education in the Tarek Pukat Dance, namely religious values ​​that are born in the Tarek Pukat Dance contain strong religious values, such as patience and perseverance, discipline, humility and responsibility. Social values ​​in the Tarek Pukat Dance such as cooperation, mutual cooperation, humility and tolerance. Cultural values ​​that can be taken from the Tarek Pukat Dance symbolize Acehnese cultural values, such as strength and resilience of local culture and love of the homeland. Aesthetic value: Tarek Pukat Dance also symbolizes aesthetic values, such as beauty and art from local culture. Tarek Pukat dancers in UNIKI performing arts education have and are able to implement the religious values ​​of Tarek Pukat Dance used in religious ceremonies, social events, such as weddings and other events. Abstract

Although dances are generally performed by women, the traditional Acehnese dance "rapa'igeleng" is instead performed by a group of men, emphasizing cooperation, togetherness, and solidarity. Uniquely, there is a traditional oral product in the form of poetry that is also presented as an accompaniment to the dance. By analyzing dance learning behavior, this research aims to explain the learning processes undertaken by the male dance group at the traditional dance studio Seulawet at UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. To gain a deep understanding, a qualitative method with participatory observation was used to examine the competence of the trainers, objectives, teaching materials, teaching methods, and assessments. Interviews and training program documents were also used for source and data triangulation. The study concluded that the process of learning the rapa'igeleng dance at the Seulaweut Art groups at UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh revealed that the dance trainers did not have a bachelor of art background, but were seniors who already had dance experience and had achieved success both domestically and internationally. Dancers and musicians from Seulaweut Art Groups are among the students of UIN Ar-Raniry. Teaching materials include the scope of the rapa'i geleng dance, the movements of the rapa'i geleng dance, the poetry of the rapa'i geleng dance, and how to play the rapa'i musical instrument, Teaching methods are the lecture method, question and answer method, and demonstration method. The media used in learning include the Rapa'i musical instrument, documentation books about traditional Acehnese dances, Rapai Geleng dance videos and the trainer evaluates each lesson.
