Abstract

There have been a number of factors shaping and deter-mining the success of learning and mastering foreign langua-ges, including Arabic language. Along with learning activities to achieve excellent ability in comprehending Arabic language, language environment becomes another most essential factor. The existence of Arabic environment (bî’ah lughawîyah ʻArabîyah) beco-mes an exceptionally pivotal because it brings about what so-called “contextual learning activity” around the students. The article discusses the case of Mambaus Sholihin Islamic Boarding School which develops such language environment. The study shows that this Islamic educational institution has faced, however, several problems regarding inconsistent implementation of the language environment even though there have been numerous language instructors graduated from a number of universities in the Middle East and Indonesia as well as Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. Specifically, these are a number of problems as regards to the issue: 1) there has been no such an organizing team; 2) the students have no self-confidence to practice Arabic; 3) the human resources engaging in the implementation of the Arabic environ-ment have less motivation to earnestly run it; 4) bad influence of senior students to the new students; and 5) there has been no strong awareness to use Arabic for daily communication.

Abstract

Abstract: this study will explore the evaluation of learning to read the turats / yellow book poles in Madrasah Aliyah Mambaus Sholihin. This simple research uses a qualitative approach and type of descriptive research. The results of the study found that the first conclusion: the evaluation of learning to read polar turats has the aim to collect various information on the development experienced by students after they follow the learning process as a guide to the level of ability and success of students and to measure and assess the effectiveness of teaching and various teaching methods used. has been implemented or implemented by educators, as well as learning activities carried out by students. Second: The type of evaluation used uses summative type of evaluation, which is an evaluation used to assess student acquisition at the end of teaching, this evaluation aims to determine the level of learning outcomes achieved by students after completing the learning material program within a certain period of time. Third: the evaluation aspect of learning to read the kutub turats includes reciting words or sentences in the kutub turats and capturing the meaning or understanding of the text in the kutub turats.Keyword: Evaluation, Reading, kutub turats

Abstract

The paper is outlining the relationship and position of the madrasah in strengthening the education of characters, begins with a description of the school, and educational character, and concludes with an explanation of the madrasa and educational character. The conclusions of this paper are; First, the Madrasah as a sub- system National education is also involved in the strengthening of character education in Indonesia. So give the contribution potential in producing men who love to God and the universe and its contents, entirely responsible, disciplined and independent, honest, respectful and polite, love affection, care, and employment together, trust yourself, creative, work hard and abstinence surrender, justice and leadership, good and low heart, and tolerance, love peace and unity. Second, Madrasah had a concern that is highly and seriousness in doing strengthening educational character. Forming human beingswho can be trusted, have a sense of respect and atten-tion, care, understand the spirit of citizenship, particularly a sincere, courageous, diligence and integrity. Third, character education in madrasas can be seen from various aspects including; aspects of the curriculum objectives and charac-teristics madrasas, competency formulations, material characteristics and graduate competencies.Keyword: Madrasah, Character Education

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the imple-mentation of the strengthening of character education based on school culture in SMP Khadijah 2 Surabaya along with inhibiting factors and school strategies in overcoming inhibiting factors Strengthening school culture-based character education at SMP Khadijah 2 Surabaya. This research is a qualitative descriptive study, data collection techniques used are observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis uses interactive miles, hubermen and saldana data analysis models, namely data condensation, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the strengthening of school culture-based character edu-cation was done by accustoming the main values of religious values, providing role models among school members, involving all stakeholders, developing and complying with school norms, regulations and traditions, developing Branding Schools, developing literacy activities, developing interests, talents, and potentials through extracurricular activities and providing mentoring. The impact of the application of Strengthening character education at SMP Khadijah 2 Surabaya is that there is a significant increase in the character development of students, students are accustomed to doing 5S, students who usually pray not on time become prayers on time, students who are usually late for school, now are not late to enter school.Keywords: character education, school, values

Abstract

This article discussed Arabic as pesantren feature and its challenges in global situation. Pesantren and Arabic are inseparable. Arabic was taught in any pesantren, at least in grammatical aspects and passive Arabic development, this can be seen in which learning kitab kuning that used Arabic is necessity. In order to get the purpose, Arabic grammatical learning is also become a part of developed curriculum structure. Thus, in the context of globalization, the study of kitab kuning and Arabic script is essential for someone’s existence, and competitive in this increasingly globalized era. In addition, the study of science in global era requires language mastery especially Arabic. So the position of pesantren in that context becomes a very strategic place to develop Arabic in order to face up the challenges in global situation.Key words: Pesantren, Arabic, Global Situation

Abstract

This study is conducted to comprehend the politicization of religion typology based on the use of Al-Qur’an language on the narrative of the politic in Indonesia. The politicization of religion is a widespread phenomenon among Indonesian people. Some political events in Indonesia cannot be separated from religious symbols, for example, conveying Al-Qur’an theorems to spread political agendas. Al-Qur’an, its communicative language characteristics, is frequently used as a mediator to spread particular narratives for power. This study uses a qualitative approach by gathering contents or narratives related to Al-Qur’an verses for a political power struggle in Indonesia. This study uses the linguistic method to see how the discourses of Al-Qur’an as a language of religion become a tool to build a social identity related to politics. The result of this study shows that Al-Qur’an can be a mediator in the spread of political narratives. Besides, the characteristics of the Al-Qur’an language, which tend to have communicative feel, can potentially be used as a political communication tool. This study has a contribution toward the development of politicization of religion typology through the Al-Qur’an language. Al-Qur’an and its user have a connection with various discourses and debates in particular contexts. Therefore, to comprehend an interpretation, it is essential to see the context and society's need when analysing a text.

Abstract

Millennial generations need to have a deeper understanding of religious moderation from an early age so that they develop polite attitudes, such as harmony, mutual respect, appreciation, and the willingness to accept differences. Therefore, the background of this thesis highlights the importance of internalizing the values of moderate Islam in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMK Hidayatul Mubtadi'ien Balen Bojonegoro. The research questions addressed in this study are: 1) How is the process of internalizing the values of moderate Islam in PAI learning at SMK Hidayatul Mubtadi'ien Balen Bojonegoro? 2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors for internalizing the values of moderate Islam in PAI learning at SMK Hidayatul Mubtadi'ien Balen Bojonegoro? 3) What are the implications of internalizing the values of moderate Islam in PAI learning at SMK Hidayatul Mubtadi'ien Balen Bojonegoro ? This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data analysis employing Data Collection, Data Reduction, Data Display, and Conclusion Drawing/Verification, so that the data obtained will result in descriptive and natural data. The data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation, while data validity is ensured through Credibility Testing, Transferability Testing, and Dependability Testing. The research findings show that: A) The process of internalizing the values of moderate Islam in PAI learning at SMK Hidayatul Mubtadi'ien Balen Bojonegoro includes the stages of Value Transformation, Value Transaction, and Transinternalization. B) The supporting and inhibiting factors for internalizing the values of moderate Islam in PAI learning at SMK Hidayatul Mubtadi'ien Balen Bojonegoro are as follows: a) Supporting factors include: high commitment from human resources and adequate facilities, active extracurricular activities, and competent educators. b) Inhibiting factors include: the influence of social media and the lack of literacy materials. C) The implications of internalizing the values of moderate Islam in PAI learning at SMK Hidayatul Mubtadi'ien Balen Bojonegoro include: obedience, respect for others, closeness with friends and teachers, and social care. ABSTRAKGenerasi milenial perlu memiliki pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang moderasi beragama sejak dini agar mereka memiliki sikap santun, seperti kerukunan, saling menghormati, menghargai, dan mau menerima perbedaan. oleh karena itu latar belakang artikel ini mengemukakan pentingnya internalisasi nilai-nilai ajaran Islam moderat dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di SMK Hidayatul Mubtadi'ien Balen Bojonegoro. Adapun permasalahan yang dikaji adalah: 1). Bagaimana proses internalisasi nilai-nilai Islam moderat dalam pembelajaran PAI di SMK Hidayatul Mubtadi'ien Balen Bojonegoro? 2). Apa saja faktor pendukung dan penghambat internalisasi nilai-nilai islam moderat dalam pembelajaran PAI di SMK Hidayatul Mubtadi'ien Balen Bojonegoro? 3). Bagaimana implikasi dari internalisasi nilai-nilai islam moderat dalam pembelajaran PAI di SMK Hidayatul Mubtadi'ien Balen Bojonegoro? Penelitian ini menggunakan Pendekatan Kualitatif Deskriptif, dengan analisis data menggunakan Data Collection, Data Reduction, Data Display, Conclusion Drawing/Verification, sehingga data-data yang diperoleh akan menghasilkan data-data deskriptif yang bersifat alamiah, adapun teknik pengumpulan data nya menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi, untuk keabsahan data menggunakan Uji Kredibilitas, Pengujian Transferability, Pengujian Dependability. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; A). Proses Internalisasi Nilai-Nilai Islam Moderat Dalam Pembelajaran PAI di SMK Hidayatul Mubtadi’ien Balen Bojonegoro yakni Tahap Transformasi Nilai, Tahap Transaksi Nilai, Tahap Transinternalisasi. B). Faktor pendukung dan penghambat Internalisasi Nilai-Nilai Islam Moderat Dalam Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMK Hidayatul Mubtadi'ien Balen Bojonegoro a). Faktor Pendukung diantaranya: Komitmen yang tinggi dari SDM dan fasilitas yang memadai, Adanya kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang aktif, Pendidik yang kompeten. b). Faktor penghambat diantaranya: Faktor media sosial, Kurangnya Bahan Literasi. C). Implikasi Internalisasi Nilai-Nilai Islam Moderat dalam Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMK Hidayatul Mubtadi’ien Balen Bojonegoro. Yakni Taat, Menghormati orang lain, Keakraban dengan teman dan guru, Kepedulian sosial.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of mosque congregant assistance in optimizing the understanding of fiqh muamalah in the Gresik Regency. The researcher employs a social action research design through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation of counseling activities. The findings indicate that continuous guidance through counseling significantly enhances congregants’ understanding of fundamental fiqh muamalah concepts, such as sales transactions, debt obligations, and zakat practices. Participants demonstrate increased comprehension and application of these principles daily, reflecting a deeper understanding of Islamic economic ethics. Although the results are positive, several challenges arise, including time constraints, limited access to easily comprehensible literature, and varying levels of participant motivation. This article recommends developing a more structured and inclusive counseling program using digital technology to support independent learning and expand accessibility. Therefore, collaboration between religious leaders, local governments, and Islamic educational institutions is essential to ensure the program’s sustainability and long-term impact. By integrating these strategies, fiqh muamalah can be a solid foundation for building a just and prosperous society in line with Islamic principles. This study provides valuable insights into community-based religious education and its role in promoting ethical economic practices

Abstract

Bullying is a deviant behavior that frequently occurs in various social settings, particularly among students and adolescents. This behavior includes verbal, physical, and psychological abuse that can have long-term negative impacts on its victims. This study aims to examine the phenomenon of bullying and offer solutions based on the values contained in the Qur’an. The research adopts a qualitative method with a library research approach. Primary data sources include verses of the Qur’an related to the prohibition of harming others, the importance of noble character, and the exhortation to uphold justice and benevolence. Secondary data are obtained from classical and contemporary Qur’anic exegesis, literature on bullying, and relevant scholarly articles. The findings indicate that the Qur’an firmly condemns all forms of injustice and violence against fellow human beings. Moreover, it promotes values such as empathy, compassion, justice, and social responsibility as fundamental principles for both preventing and addressing bullying. Integrating Qur’anic values into character education is expected to foster the development of a healthier and more harmonious social environment
