Abstract

Digital banking has become an integral part of the modern banking industry, especially for the State-Owned Bank Association (Himbara). This transformation significantly affects operations and organizational structures, including workforce restructuring, where many employees are transferred to sales units with higher targets. However, this placement poses a challenge when most employees do not have the appropriate competencies for their new roles. This study explores the role of Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM) and workforce restructuring in improving employee performance through adjusting their competencies. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method, with data collected through a survey of 205 permanent employees of Bank Himbara in the North Sumatra region, selected using the Slovin formula. This study uses regression analysis to test the relationship between these variables. The results show that the right SHRM can improve employee performance, but this success depends on employee competencies following the demands of their new roles. Restructuring that is not balanced with competency development causes a decrease in productivity. These findings provide important insights for HR managers in designing effective policies in the digital banking era.

Abstract

Someone is said to be superior when they have something that other people don't have, do something better than other people, or are able to do something that other people can't do and achieve something that other people can't achieve, and in this era full of competition like today, people use various ways to outperform others. Being superior it's prestigious, but having superiority achieved by violating morals and noble values is certainly not a commendable thing. In the midst of the moral crisis occurring in the general public, especially generation Z, such as; bullying, violence among teenagers, blurring of good and bad morals, dishonesty become commonplace, fanatical attitudes towards certain groups, low respect for parents and teachers, high levels of self-destructive behavior such as use of drugs, alcohol, gambling and free sex, bad language easily blurted out; cursing, scolding, ridicule, blasphemy, slander, swearing, without paying attention to other people's feelings, mutual suspicion, low level of concern, it is easy for hatred to arise between people. Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the interaction between power, culture, and learning in the formulation of organizational strategy. Power within an organization, which is distributed across various levels, affects who can make strategic decisions and how these decisions are accepted and implemented. Organizational culture, encompassing values, norms, and customs, plays a crucial role in determining how strategies are developed and executed. Organizational learning, as a continuous process of acquiring knowledge and experience, allows organizations to adapt to market and technological changes. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing document analysis and relevant literature studies. The results indicate that these three elements interact and significantly influence the formation of organizational strategies. Organizations that can effectively manage power, culture, and learning have a greater chance of formulating and implementing successful, adaptive, and sustainable strategies. However, a lack of harmony among these elements may hinder the effectiveness of the strategies implemented. Therefore, it is crucial for organizational leaders to understand these internal dynamics and ensure that these three elements support each other in strategy formulation and execution.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of employee experience on employee productivity in service sector companies located in West Java Province, Indonesia. Employee experience is assessed through four main dimensions: work technology, organizational culture, leadership, and employee well-being. The study adopts a quantitative explanatory research approach. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire distributed to 100 permanent employees across various service-based companies. Multiple linear regression analysis was employed using SPSS software. The results show that all dimensions of employee experience have a positive and significant effect on employee productivity, with leadership emerging as the most dominant factor. The regression model demonstrates an R square value of 0.507, indicating that 50.7% of the variability in employee productivity can be explained by the four dimensions of employee experience. These findings highlight the importance of strategically managing employee experience as an effective managerial approach to enhancing both individual and organizational performance.
