Abstract

Businesses in the agricultural sector, especially rice farming, are faced with the risk of uncertainty as a result of the negative impacts of climate change which are detrimental to farmers. One of the government's efforts to protect farmers is by establishing rice farming insurance (AUTP). However, based on data, farmer participation in the AUTP rice program is still low. Therefore, knowledge of the characteristics of the factors that influence farmers' decisions to take part in AUTP is needed to increase farmer participation in rice farming insurance programs. The research aims to look at the factors that influence farmer participation in the AUTP program. The method used is the Multiple Linear Regression method. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that factors that had a significant influence on farmer participation in the AUTP program were age, length of farming, land area, and education. Meanwhile, the income factor has no significant effect.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on the local wisdom of South Sumatra for the Seni Budaya dan Prakarya (SBdP) subject at the elementary school level. The development was carried out using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, documentation, and validation questionnaires, while data analysis focused on media feasibility, content quality, and student responses to the LKPD implementation. The results showed that the local wisdom-based LKPD met expert validity standards for content (84.57%) and media (84.7%), was rated highly practical based on students' positive responses, and effectively improved their understanding of local cultural values. This LKPD was designed not only as a learning tool but also as a means of internalizing regional culture. Through a contextual, engaging, and value-rich approach, students are encouraged to recognize, appreciate, and preserve the cultural heritage of South Sumatra. The LKPD holds potential for fostering character education and strengthening national cultural identity from an early age.

Abstract

Background: Ethnomathematics offers valuable insights into how cultural practices can enrich mathematical understanding. This study focuses on integrating ethnomathematics related to rice farming activities into electronic Learning Module (E-LKPD) for enhancing mathematical education.Aim: The research aims to describe the developmental process and assess the effectiveness of the E-LKPD, which incorporates ethnomathematics content from rice farmer activities in paddy fields, in improving students' problem-solving abilities.Method: Employing the 4-D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate), this research was conducted with eighth-grade students of SMP Al-Falah Nusaraya as subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests on problem-solving abilities. Both descriptive statistics and t-test analyses were utilized to evaluate the data.Results: The study reveals that the E-LKPD is validated as effective by experts, with initial field trials placing it in the 'very practical' category. Moreover, results from field tests indicate that students using the E-LKPD with ethnomathematics content demonstrated superior problem-solving skills compared to those who did not use the E-LKPD.Conclusion: The E-LKPD containing ethnomathematics on rice farming activities significantly enhances students' problem-solving abilities, thereby validating the effectiveness of integrating cultural elements into mathematical education through innovative learning modules.

Abstract

Matematika adalah ilmu dasar yang memiliki peran penting dalam upaya untuk penguasaan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi dan juga dalam kehidupan sehari-hari kita. Banyak siswa melihat matematika sebagai bidang studi yang sulit dimengerti. Salah satu kemampuan yang harus dimiliki untuk dapat menguasai matematika yaitu kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Lester (2003) menegaskan “Problem solving is the heart of mathematics” yang berarti jantungnya matematika adalah pemecahan masalah. Problem solving merupakan suatu cara yang dapat merangsang untuk menganalisis dan melakukan sintesis dalam kesatuan struktur dimana masalah itu berada. Newman mengemukakan ada lima tahapan dalam pemecahan masalah matematika, yaitu a) membaca masalah, b) memahami masalah, c) transformasi masalah, d) keterampilan proses, dan e) penulisan jawaban akhir. Siregar (2017) menyimpulkan bahwa problem solving dalam Al-Quran menurut Tafsir Al-Azhar mempunyai langkah-langkah yaitu: (1) musyawarah, (2) analisis situasi, (3) analisis persoalan dan sebab-sebab Potensial, (4) analisis Keputusan, dan (5) analisis persoalan potensial. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui integrasi Problem Solving dalam matematika dan Al-Quran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode library research. Pada penelitian ini dihasilkan langkah-langkah integrasi Problem Solving dalam matematika dan Al-Quran yaitu (1) mempersiapkan kemampuan dan skill, (2) analisis masalah, (3) memahami masalah, (4) transformasi masalah dan keterampilan proses, dan (5) penulisan jawaban akhir. Kemudian siswa juga perlu memiliki sikap-sikap dalam pemecahan masalah yaitu keyakinan, keimanan, bertawakal, dan bersabar.

Abstract

Inventory is the most crucial aspect in restaurant business, good control is needed so that operational activities can run smoothly. In ‘Warung Bakso’, the quantity of raw material inventory purchased is based on estimates and intuition so that the inventory costs incurred are not efficient. The purpose of this study is to find out the economical order quantity for each raw material, how much safety stock should be provided and when reordering should be done. The type of data used is quantitative data and is equipped with qualitative data which is then analyzed using the EOQ, Safety Stock and Reorder Point formula. As a result, the Total Inventory Costs for it’s six raw materials up to IDR 846.996 with the EOQ Method. In order for the quantity of raw material can be monitored properly, researcher designed a simple inventory application using Ms. Excel.

Abstract

Algoritma Floyd, juga dikenal sebagai Floyd-Warshall, adalah algoritma dalam teori graf yang digunakan untuk menemukan jalur terpendek antara semua pasangan simpul dalam sebuah graf berbobot, baik yang berbobot positif maupun negatif, dengan waktu komputasi yang efisien. Algoritma ini bekerja dengan prinsip dynamic programming dan mampu mengatasi graf yang memiliki bobot negatif selama tidak ada siklus negatif. Dalam implementasinya, algoritma Floyd secara iteratif memperbarui jarak terpendek antar simpul melalui pembandingan jalur yang lebih langsung dengan jalur yang melewati simpul lainnya. Keunggulan dari algoritma ini terletak pada kesederhanaannya dan kemampuannya untuk menghitung jarak terpendek antara semua pasangan simpul dalam satu proses dengan kompleksitas waktu O(n³), di mana n adalah jumlah simpul dalam graf. Meskipun memiliki kompleksitas yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan algoritma lain seperti Dijkstra untuk pencarian jalur terpendek antara satu pasang simpul, algoritma Floyd lebih efektif untuk aplikasi yang memerlukan informasi jarak terpendek antara semua pasangan simpul sekaligus, seperti dalam analisis jaringan atau aplikasi rute transportasi.
