Abstract

The digital marketing training held in Larike Village aims to enhance the community's ability to utilize digital technology as a tool for marketing local products. Desa Larike has significant potential in local products, such as agricultural produce and handicrafts, but still faces challenges in marketing, which is limited to the local area. By leveraging digital technology, local entrepreneurs in the village are expected to expand their market reach and significantly increase the sales of local products. This community service program involves a series of training sessions covering the fundamentals of digital marketing, such as the use of social media, e-commerce platforms, and brand identity management strategies. The people of Desa Larike are taught how to create effective marketing campaigns through social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook, as well as how to manage business transactions via digital platforms. This approach aims to equip the community with skills that can be directly applied to their everyday economic activities. The results of this training show that participants have gained a better understanding of digital marketing and its application in their businesses. Some local entrepreneurs in the village have started using social media and e-commerce platforms to market their products, resulting in an increase in demand from a broader market, not only from local consumers but also from outside the village. This demonstrates the positive impact of the training on local product sales.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the need to examine the role of Social Studies teachers in increasing student awareness of environmental issues at MTsN 5 Tulungagung. Environmental issues are an important topic in modern education due to their relevance to ecosystem sustainability and human quality of life. Social studies teachers have strategies to instill environmental care values through collaboration between school parties and the role of teachers as innovators. This thesis focuses on: 1) How social studies teachers play a role in increasing student awareness of environmental issues at MTsN 5 Tulungagung, 2) What strategies are used by social studies teachers to increase student awareness of environmental issues at MTsN 5 Tulungagung, 3) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors for social studies teachers in increasing student awareness of environmental issues at MTsN 5 Tulungagung. The objectives of this study are: 1) To determine the role of social studies teachers in increasing student awareness of environmental issues at MTsN 5 Tulungagung, 2) To determine what strategies are used by social studies teachers to increase student awareness of environmental issues at MTsN 5 Tulungagung, 3) To determine the supporting and inhibiting factors for social studies teachers in increasing student awareness of environmental issues. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method. Data were obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. Observations were conducted to get a closer look at the object under study, interviews were used to identify or find problems openly at MTsN 5 Tulungagung, while documentation was used to collect data by investigating existing documents and is a place to prepare a number of data so that researchers get maximum information that can describe the condition of the object under study correctly. The results of this study indicate that the role of social studies teachers in increasing student awareness of environmental issues at MTsN 5 Tulungagung is by using the following methods: first, strengthening values and character such as; the value of responsibility, the value of caring and empathy, the value of discipline, and the value of mutual cooperation. Then the second method is an interactive teaching strategy. The strategy used by social studies teachers to increase student awareness of environmental issues at MTsN 5 Tulungagung is: the strategy of social studies teachers as innovators and collaborating between school parties. Supporting and inhibiting factors for social studies teachers in increasing student awareness of environmental issues at MTsN 5 Tulungagung include supporting factors such as school policies and collaboration between teachers, while the inhibiting factors themselves are both from the students themselves and internal factors such as from the canteen.

Abstract

Today’s young generation is starting to lose their social attitudes. Likewise, what happened at SMP Negeri 1 Kalidawir, where the majority of students had poor attitudes, such as lack of politeness, lack of discipline, lack of concern for others, and lack of responbility. The focus of this research is (1) Implementation of character education at SMP Negeri 1 Kalidawir Tulungagung, (2) How social attitudes are formed through character education for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Kalidawir Tulungagung, (3) What are the obstacles that occur during the process of forming social attitudes through character education for class VIII studens at SMP Negeri 1 Kalidawir Tulungagung, (4) What is the impact of character education on the social attitudes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Kalidawir Tulungagung. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The results obtained from this research are (1) Implementation of character education is carried out during guidance counseling for students and during the learning process in class. (2) Efforts to form social attitudes are made by accuctoming students to be honest, disiplined, responsible, polite and caring. (3) Obstacles that occur during the process of forming social attitudesinclude differences in student character, family fakctors, and the influence pf the social environment. (4) the impact of charakter education in the form of positive impacts which include decreasing student violation points, improving student behavior and improving student social attitudes; as well as negative impacts in the form of students who are still not doing well

Abstract

The attitude of social care is important for every student to have with the existence of students' concern for their environment will make students a good person. Social care attitude is a person's attitude to help each other and help others who are in trouble. This study aims to (1) Describe the Efforts to Cultivate Empathy in Social Studies Teachers in Improving the Social Care Attitudes of Class VII Students at MTs Binaya Ilmi Wongsorejo Banyuwangi Academic Year 2023/2024, (2) Describe the Supporting and Inhibiting Factors of Social Studies Teachers in Improving Social Care Attitudes of Class VII Students at MTs Binaya Ilmi Wongsorejo Banyuwangi Academic Year 2023/2024 (3) Describe the Impact of Efforts to Cultivate Empathy in Social Studies Teachers in Improving Social Care Attitudes of Class VII Students at MTs Binaya Ilmi Wongsorejo Banyuwangi Academic Year 2023/2024. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study research type. Data collection techniques in this study include observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses an inductive method which is divided into 4 steps: (1) Data Collection, (2) Data Condensation, (3) Data Presentation, (4) Conclusion. From the results of the study found that (1) Efforts to cultivate empathy in social studies teachers in improving the social care attitude of seventh grade students by providing exemplary, habituation and socialization. (2) Supporting factors in improving the social care attitude of students with the existence of socialization activities during morning apples, community service, fundraising and charity activities. While the inhibiting factors are students playing excessive gadgets, the existence of customs that have thickened in students and social change. (3) The impact of empathy cultivation efforts on social studies teachers in improving the social care attitude of seventh grade students is that students become enthusiastic when the teacher tells them to wipe the blackboard, students are able to be kind to other students and students have a good helping attitude.

Abstract

This research is based on the rapid development of the times which has reduced students' interest in learning, especially in social studies subjects. Therefore, in developing interest in learning, it is necessary to update the learning model. For that, it can be underlined about the expected learning process, namely that during learning students are able to be active. With this, the research contains the application of the course review horay method to student learning outcomes. The method used is a qualitative approach, the type of research is (PTK) Classroom Action Research. There are various stages of research, namely Planning, Implementation, Observation, Reflection. The results after the research was applied were at the beginning of the meeting a Pre-test was held to measure students' understanding of the material on social institutions with the results of student completeness learning as many as an average student score of 77.77, a completeness level of 67%, as many as 18 students completed and 9 students did not complete. And to improve learning outcomes again, 2 Cycles were held with the average score of the Post-test Cycle I, namely the average score increased by 80 and the percentage of completion was 70% with 19 students completing and 8 students not completing, until the assessment results increased in the Post-test Cycle II with an average score of 93.66 and a completion score of 93% until 25 students completed and 2 did not complete. Because the completion of student learning outcomes has reached 93%, the cycle will be stopped. From the results that have been obtained, it can be concluded that the Application of the Course Review Horay method can improve the learning outcomes of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Kalidawir, Tulungagung Regency.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the discovery of several problems in learning Social Sciences at MTs Asy-Syafiiyah Gondang Tulungagung. This greatly influences the learning process for both teachers and students in the subject of Social Sciences. The purpose of this study is: To determine the problems faced in the process of learning Social Studies at MTs Asy-Syafiiyah Gondang Tulungagung in the 2024/2025 Academic Year along with efforts to overcome problems in the process of learning Social Studies at MTs Asy-Syafiiyah Gondang Tulungagung. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method using in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation as a form of data collection, data sources in the study. The problems faced in the Social Studies learning process include learning methods that are less interesting and interactive, lack of learning motivation from students, lack of training or workshops for teachers, limited supporting facilities in the learning process, and less than optimal learning evaluation.

Abstract

Education is the main foundation in forming quality Human Resources. In achieving educational goals, support is needed from various aspects, including the availability of adequate learning facilities and competent teachers. Learning facilities play an important role in supporting the learning process, while teacher competence greatly determines the success of transferring knowledge to students. These two aspects are believed to have an influence on student learning achievement, including in Integrated Social Studies subjects that require conceptual understanding and critical thinking skills. This research was conducted to answer three main questions: (1) whether there is an influence of learning facilities on student learning achievement in Integrated Social Studies subjects grade VIII MTsN 6 Tulungagun; (2) whether the competence of social studies teachers affects student learning achievement in Integrated Social Studies subjects grade VIII MTsN 6 Tulungagun; and (3) how much influence the two variables simultaneously have on student learning achievement in the Integrated Social Studies subject class VIII MTsN 6 Tulungagun. The purpose of this study is to analyze and prove the influence of each independent variable on the bound variable both partially and simultaneously. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative method. The population is 309 students of grade VIII MTsN 6 Tulungagung and the sample is 76 students taken using the Simple Random Sampling technique, and 3 social studies teachers of Class VIII as additional informants. The data collection technique was carried out through questionnaires for independent variables and documentation of UAS values for bound variables. Data analysis was carried out using validity, reliability, normality, multiple linear regression tests, as well as t-tests, F tests and R2 tests with the help of JASP software. The results of this study after processing data using the t-test showed that neither learning facilities nor the competence of social studies teachers had a significant effect on student learning achievement, because the significance value of learning facilities was above 0.05. However, the results of the F test showed that simultaneously the two variables had a significant effect on student learning outcomes with a significance value of <0.001. In addition, the determination coefficient value (R2) of 0.179 showed that 17.9% of the variation in student learning achievement was influenced by learning facilities and the competence of social studies teachers together. These findings show the importance of synergy between the quality of educational facilities and the competence of teaching staff in supporting student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of education as a basic right of the nation's children that continues to experience innovation, including in the school model based on boarding school. The focus of the research is social studies learning at MTs Darul Hikmah Tulungagung which implements the boarding system. The purpose of this study was to determine teacher strategies, implementation, and obstacles in social studies learning in this environment. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study type, and data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that the effectiveness of social studies learning was influenced by the density of institutional activities, lack of mastery of the material by teachers, and dualism of the curriculum. Efforts made include improving teacher discipline, utilizing audio-visual media, and linking material to current issues. The advantages of the boarding school system are that students become more independent, have high social awareness, and obtain general and religious education in a balanced manner. This finding implies the need for improvements in learning strategies and time management so that the boarding school system can run more optimally in supporting the achievement of social studies learning.

Abstract

The industrial revolution 4.0 requires elementary and secondary education institutions to improve, even evaluate the learning system of each field of study taught. Around 30% of the world's population has used social media in order to connect, seek information and learn. The same is true for the development of social studies education which continues to experience changes in materials or learning activities that are in accordance with the conditions of students and their environment. The focus of the research in this thesis is: (1) How is the formation of social behavioral character of students in social studies learning of class VIII MTs Al Ma'arif Tulungagung in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 in Generation Z?, (2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in the formation of social behavioral character of class VIII MTs Al Ma'Arif Tulungagung students in social studies learning in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 in Generation Z, (3) What are the positive and negative impacts of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era on the formation of social behavioral character of class VIII MTs Al Ma'arif Tulungagung students in social studies learning in Generation Z?. This study aims to examine the formation of students' social behavior through social studies learning, as well as the factors that influence and the impact of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era on class VIII students of MTs Al Ma'arif Tulungagung. This research approach uses a qualitative method known as an artistic method because the data produced is in the form of interpretations of data findings in the field. Furthermore, the type of research used is descriptive qualitative research by collecting accurate data by going directly to the field by utilizing the method of answering and describing a phenomenon that is the focus of the research. The results of the study concluded that: (1) Social studies learning at MTs Al Ma'arif Tulungagung forms students' social behavior through the values ​​of empathy, responsibility, and communication, (2) This character formation is supported by technology, the role of the family, and the school environment, but is hampered by the negative influence of social media and the tendency of Generation Z to seek instant solutions. (3) The Industrial Revolution 4.0 has a positive impact on access to information and critical thinking, but also has negative impacts such as gadget dependence and cyberbullying.

Abstract

The results of this study show that: 1) The steps of implementing the make a match type cooperative learning model have several stages that must be prepared by teachers so that the learning process is taught in a structured manner, namely designing teaching modules and learning themes, preparing cards containing questions and answers, making learning assignment planning strategies, carrying out preparation and implementation of activities, couple verification, evaluation, awarding/appreciation. 2) The results in the implementation of the make a match type cooperative learning model explain that there is an increase in student learning activity and learning outcomes before and after learning. 3) Factors that affect the learning process There are supporting factors, namely student motivation and enthusiasm that encourage active involvement in the learning process, while inhibiting factors, namely the classroom atmosphere becomes unconducive during learning.
