Abstract

Bullying is a serious problem in the school environment that can have a negative impact on students' mental health and social development. Various efforts are made to prevent this behavior, one of which is by building student awareness through teacher role strategies and school policies. Teachers, especially in the context of Islamic religious education, have a great responsibility in shaping students' character and social behavior through religious values. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of strategies and policies implemented by teachers and schools in building student awareness of bullying and reducing bullying behavior in schools. This study uses a mix methods method with qualitative data obtained through interviews and observations, and quantitative data collected through questionnaires to students. The primary data source is Islamic Religious Education teachers. The results of the study showed that teacher strategies and school policies include socialization about bullying, counseling, religious activities and anti-bullying declarations, significantly increasing students' understanding of the negative impacts of bullying. The data also shows a decrease in bullying cases in schools along with the implementation of these strategies and policies. From this study, Islamic religious education strategies and school policies that are implemented consistently and are effective in building student awareness of bullying and reducing bullying behavior in schools, make the learning environment safer, more harmonious and holistic.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the rampant moral decadence that needs attention. Underlining the responsibility of parents and educators in educating children, including the importance of the right method to shape children's faith, morals, knowledge, mentality, and social. Sheikh Nawawi Al Bantani and Abdullah Nashih 'Ulwan were appointed as the main focus because of their influential thoughts in the context of children's education. The purpose of this study is to describe, compare, and analyze the relevance of the thoughts of the two figures regarding children's education in the context of contemporary Islamic education. This study uses a Qualitative Descriptive-Analytical approach with a literature review nature. The data obtained are sourced from primary data as the main reference obtained from a book entitled Tarbiyatul Aulad Fil Islam by Dr. Abdullah Nashih 'Ulwan and the book Tanqih Al-Qaul by Sheikh Nawawi Al-Bantani. While secondary data is obtained from journals, expert books, and previous scientific articles. Descriptive in explaining the arguments and comparison of the two concepts and methods, analysis to describe the contents in depth. In this study it was found that the educational methods proposed by Sheikh Nawawi al-Bantani and Abdullah Nashih have similarities even though the approaches and implementations are different, both discuss Islamic education that prioritizes noble morals which are very relevant considering the contemporary era which is full of moral crises.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji strategi manajemen kurikulum di Pondok Pesantren Asy Syafi’i Banyuwangi dalam menghadapi tantangan era digital. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pesantren tersebut berhasil mengembangkan sistem kurikulum yang secara efektif mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai tradisional Islam dengan adaptasi teknologi secara selektif. Proses perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kurikulum di pesantren ini dilakukan melalui pendekatan partisipatif, melibatkan secara aktif pimpinan, guru, santri, dan wali santri. Digitalisasi diterapkan secara terbatas, terutama melalui sistem pelaporan digital dan pemanfaatan media edukatif seperti film, tanpa menggeser inti pendidikan karakter dan spiritual yang menjadi ciri khas pesantren. Model adaptasi ini menunjukkan adanya harmonisasi antara tradisi dan modernitas. Pesantren tidak sekadar mengadopsi teknologi secara membabi buta, melainkan secara sadar dan terkontrol menggunakannya sebagai alat untuk memperkuat tujuan pedagogis dan spiritual utamanya. Ini merupakan pilihan strategis untuk memanfaatkan teknologi guna meningkatkan, bukan menggantikan, inti pendidikan yang berbasis nilai. Temuan ini menegaskan signifikansi manajemen kurikulum berbasis nilai dalam menjaga relevansi pendidikan Islam di tengah transformasi digital yang berlangsung pesat.

Abstract

Di tengah derasnya arus globalisasi dan kemajuan teknologi digital, degradasi akhlak remaja menjadi tantangan serius dalam dunia pendidikan. Pendidikan Islam sebagai bagian dari sistem pendidikan nasional memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk karakter dan moral generasi muda. Salah satu pendekatan yang relevan untuk menjawab persoalan ini adalah pendekatan pedagogis problem-solving. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan pendekatan pedagogis problem-solving dalam pendidikan Islam sebagai upaya menanggulangi permasalahan degradasi akhlak remaja. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur. Data diperoleh dari jurnal ilmiah, buku akademik, serta berita aktual terkait kasus-kasus degradasi akhlak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan problem-solving mampu meningkatkan keaktifan, motivasi, dan prestasi belajar siswa, sekaligus membentuk karakter yang berintegritas, bertanggung jawab, toleran, serta menumbuhkan sikap nasionalisme. Dengan demikian, desain pembelajaran akhlak berbasis problem-solving merupakan alternatif yang tepat dan relevan untuk pendidikan karakter di sekolah.
