Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze the marketing communication strategies employed by Ar Rasyiid Bintaro Educational Foundation in increasing the number of students during the period 2020-2022. The research method used is a case study with data collection techniques based on primary data through observation and interviews, as well as secondary data from documentary studies. The data analysis method involves data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of the research indicate that in 2020, Ar Rasyiid Bintaro Foundation implemented a Word of Mouth-based marketing communication strategy. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the foundation successfully implemented a marketing communication strategy with a focus on a fun learning approach, a family-like atmosphere, and the utilization of social media and digital technology. This successfully increased the number of students and maintained the foundation's reputation. In 2022, the foundation quickly adapted to changes in the external situation and made changes in promotional tactics, including the use of social media, digital advertising, and special offers. The foundation's success in overcoming challenges and maintaining its appeal in the education market highlights the importance of flexibility, adaptability, and the role of social media and technology in developing effective marketing strategies.

Abstract

Contemporary dance is a dance art that is popular with not only Generation Z but also the millennial generation, which is currently the age of parents who already have teenage children. The increasing problems in children and adolescents that occur today are often caused by a lack of good internal communication through interpersonal communication between parents and their children. As the growth of digital media consumption, especially social media, occurs in Indonesia, it also affects the lack of communication within the family or even between neighbors, making it difficult to communicate and coordinate with each other. Through this research, it is hoped that it can help mothers and young women to be able to make dance a medium of communication between generations to be able to create harmonious and useful collaborative activities in fostering communication not only for the smallest social environment, namely the family but also for the community of Dadap village residents to create harmonious relationships between residents, especially between generations.

Abstract

Dance is a type of non-verbal communication that conveys messages through coordinated movements to the audience. Currently, contemporary dance is popular with Generation Z and also the Millennial generation who are at the age of having teenage children. This happens because digital communication media is so massive in presenting new cultural offerings through dance, especially on social media, that contemporary dance is popular with Generation Z and Millennials. The rise of problems in teenagers is often caused by a lack of good communication through interpersonal communication between parents and children. Along with the growth in social media consumption that occurs in Indonesia, it also affects the lack of communication within the family. Therefore, by conducting contemporary dance training carried out by mothers and children in Dadap village, South Tangerang, it is hoped that it can become a medium of communication between generations to create harmonious and useful collaboration activities in fostering communication between generations of parents and children in Dadap village. Abstract

Isu ekonomi digital di Indonesia, sudah semestinya melibatkan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) yang merupakan penyumbang pertumbuhan ekonomi terbesar di Indonesia hingga 61.07 persen PDB. Bahkan mengutip data riset World Bank, sekitar 80 persen UMKM yang terhubung ke dalam ekosistem digital memiliki daya tahan lebih baik di masa pandemi. Akan tetapi, para UMKM masih belum banyak atau belum merata melakukan digital branding. Metodologi yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini melibatkan pengumpulan data dalam empat cara yakni: observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan triangulasi/pencocokan data. Hasil dari pelaksanaan program workshop dan pelatihan adalah para peserta mendapatkan materi mengenai branding dan branding pada sosial media, serta pelatihan mengenai foto produk untuk membantu mereka dalam branding/promosi di dunia digital. Diharapkan dengan adanya inovasi QRIS, isu ekonomi digital, digital branding sosial media, dan foto produk sebagai isu Indonesia dan masyarakat bersama, diharapkan digitalisasi di Indonesia akan semakin berkembang dan membuat Indonesia menjadi negara maju. Dari hasil yang dilakukan para penggiat UMKM yang kami berikan pelatihan, telah mampu memahami tentang digital branding di sosial media dan QRIS, serta mampu membuat sebuah foto produk untuk usahanya.

Abstract

Dalam era globalisasi dan transformasi digital yang berkembang pesat, UMKM perlu mengadopsi strategi baru, termasuk e-branding, untuk tetap kompetitif. Kampung Dadap di Kota Tangerang Selatan merupakan contoh daerah dengan potensi UMKM yang beragam, didukung oleh warisan budaya dan keterampilan kewirausahaan yang kaya. E-branding memberikan peluang besar bagi UMKM untuk memasarkan produk dan layanannya secara digital. Namun, dampak strategi e-branding terhadap kesadaran merek di kalangan UMKM, terutama di sektor kerajinan di Kampung Dadap, belum diteliti secara mendalam.Studi kasus UMKM di Desa Dadap bertujuan untuk menggambarkan penerapan dan efektivitas strategi e-branding dalam meningkatkan kesadaran merek lokal. Melalui pemahaman tantangan dan pengalaman UMKM di Desa Dadap, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat mengidentifikasi peluang pengembangan strategi e-branding yang lebih efektif. Hasil penelitian memberikan informasi berharga bagi pemangku kepentingan UMKM, peneliti, dan perusahaan dalam mengoptimalkan potensi ekonomi lokal serta meningkatkan daya saing usaha di era digital.Selain itu, penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana teknologi informasi, seperti aplikasi seluler atau platform online, dapat mendukung e-branding dan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Dengan fokus pada pemberdayaan pelaku UMKM, diharapkan dapat memperbaiki kualitas ekonomi individu dan keluarga, serta meningkatkan pendapatan per kapita wilayah. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi potensi budaya lokal, seperti kuliner khas dan tempat wisata, yang dapat meningkatkan perhatian masyarakat luas terhadap keunikan wilayah tersebut.

Abstract

The South Tangerang City Government, Banten, welcomed the selection of West Dadap Village as an Independent, Food Secure, Clean, and Superior Village (Mantul) because it supports the Village Development program criteria. Therefore, Dadap Village was formed into an independent village and an educational tourism destination for the community in 2022. This community service activity fulfils the University's Additional Performance indicators, namely strengthening the competence of Partners in the fields of craft production, Packaging Management, Branding, and digital marketing to strengthen the Edukreatif Branding of Dadap Village. The solution offered is to transfer knowledge through training in making souvenirs unique to Dadap Village in the form of Chunky Bags, Product Packaging, Branding, Product Photography as marketing content and digital marketing. The target output is to produce competency strengthening in the fields of creativity in crafting souvenirs, packaging, branding, product photos and digital marketing. Second, produce outputs in the form of Chunky bag souvenirs, posters, activity videos, publications on online news portals, scientific journal articles accredited by Sinta and HAKI copyrights.

Abstract

This study explores the dynamics of digital-based collaborative communication strategies in managing student-led events, with UMB Talks 2024 at Universitas Mercu Buana as a case study. First, background. The research is grounded in Habermas’s Theory of Communicative Action and strategic communication, emphasizing mutual understanding and stakeholder engagement in digital environments. It aims to develop a conceptual model of collaborative digital communication in academic settings. A qualitative-descriptive approach was adopted. Data were gathered through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis involving student leaders, academic mentors, and external speakers. The study applied stakeholder mapping to identify key actors in the event’s communication process. Findings reveal that tools like WhatsApp and Google Drive enhanced coordination, documentation, and consensus building in a temporary organizational setting. Communication was structured through vertical, horizontal, and diagonal flows, reflecting deliberative practices and ethical engagement. The proposed model includes adaptive channels, flexible structures, and a crisis response system, offering theoretical and practical insights for youth event management. The study shows that digital communication is central to participatory learning and resilient collaboration in higher education. It contributes to communication theory by linking digital affordances with deliberative engagement, and offers a framework applicable to future student-led initiatives.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance digital literacy and content creation skills among students of SMAN 1 Cimarga, Lebak, Banten, through the production of educational videos on the YouTube platform. The initiative addresses the limited use of digital media as an educational tool within the school environment. Conducted offline in April 2025, the program involved lecturers and students from Universitas Mercu Buana using a participatory and experiential learning approach. The training covered scripting, basic videography, video editing, and content distribution via the school’s YouTube channel. The results indicated a significant improvement in students' understanding of content production and increased confidence in expressing educational messages through digital media. Tangible outcomes included published educational videos, digital training modules, and a scientific article for dissemination. Collaboration with the school and support from the local education office contributed to the program's success. This initiative demonstrates that YouTube-based educational content creation can be an effective strategy to empower students as digital content creators with educational purpose.

Abstract

This Community Service (PkM) program aimed to address the low public speaking skills among senior high school students in Tangerang City. The gap between students’ competencies and industry demands required adaptive, participatory training. The program was implemented at SMA Yuppentek Tangerang using service learning and participatory action research (PAR) through training, group discussions, and simulations. A total of 85 students, supervising teachers, and external partners were actively involved. Pre–post test results indicated significant improvements in understanding communication concepts, MC and moderator roles, and public speaking practice. Students reported increased self-confidence and skills in delivering ideas to an audience. The activity also strengthened collaborative networks between schools, lecturers, teachers, and local stakeholders. This PkM not only enhanced knowledge but also provided practical skills relevant to the workforce, supported University Key Performance Indicators (IKU 3 and IKU 7), and aligned with the Merdeka Belajar–Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy. By using experiential learning and stakeholder engagement, the program contributes to shaping a confident, communicative, and adaptive young generation prepared for future challenges.

Abstract

Gizi seimbang merupakan aspek penting dalam menunjang kesehatan dan kesejahteraan anak-anak di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kreativitas ibu-ibu dalam mengkomunikailan gizi seimbang kepada anak-anak di Kelurahan Keranggan, Tangerang Selatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, workshop, dokumentasi, dan triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program penyuluhan komunikasi bekal gizi seimbang efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kreativitas ibu-ibu. Sebagian besar ibu setelah mengikuti program workshop menilai bahwa program dan materi yang disuguhkan sangat penting dan menarik. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada Tabel Rekapitulasi data. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan program penyuluhan serupa untuk dilakukan di wilayah lain dengan fokus pada peningkatan pengetahuan dan praktik kreativitas ibu-ibu dalam mengkomunikailan bekal gizi seimbang kepada anak-anak.
